U.N. Calls for Combating 'Defamation' of Islam

More UN dhimmitude from Reuters, with thanks to all who sent this in:

GENEVA - The United Nations Commission on Human Rights called on Tuesday for combating defamation of religions, especially Islam, and condemned discrimination against Muslims in the West's war on terrorism.

The 53-member state forum adopted a resolution, presented by Pakistan on behalf of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), deploring the intensification of a "campaign of defamation" against Muslims following the Sept. 11 attacks in the United States.

Western countries, including the United States and European Union (EU), voted against the text, calling it unbalanced for failing to address problems suffered by other religious groups.

The OIC resolution was adopted by a vote of 31 countries in favor and 16 against, with five abstentions and one delegation absent, Indonesia's ambassador Makarim Wibisono, who chairs the annual six-week session, announced after the public vote.

"Stereotyping of any religion as propagating violence or its association with terrorism constitutes defamation of religion. It unfortunately breeds a culture of hatred, disharmony and discrimination," Pakistan's envoy, Masood Khan, said in a speech on behalf of the OIC, which links 57 Islamic nations.

Websters dictionary defines defamation as: "to harm the reputation of by libel or slander." Libel is defined as: "to convey an unjustly unfavorable impression." By these definitions it's hard to imagine how Islam could be any more defamed than by Muslims' own words and actions.

There was "a growing trend of defamation of Islam and discrimination faced by Muslims and the people of Arab descent in many parts of the world," he said, citing attacks on places of worship and religious symbols.

In a recent report, the U.N. special investigator on racism, Doudou Diene, cited examples including "Islamophobic violence" after the murder last November of Dutch film director Theo Van Gogh, and an "alarming number of expulsions of imams" in Europe.

What a load of Doudou. What we're "alarmed" about is why these seditious "preachers of hatred" weren't deported sooner. And come to think of it, why aren't we doing anything about them here in America?

Strange bedfellows alert:

Delegations from Cuba and China, which has been accused by rights activists of repressing its own Muslim Uighur minority, were among the countries to take the floor during the debate to back the OIC resolution.

"Islam has been the subject of very deep campaign of defamation. All you have to do is look at the films which have come out of Hollywood the last few years," said Cuba's delegate, Rodolfo Reyes Rodriguez....

"This resolution is incomplete inasmuch as it fails to address the situation of all religions," Leonard Leo, a member of the U.S. delegation, said in a speech.

The Netherlands, speaking for the EU, said religious intolerance was a "matter of grave concern" within the bloc, adding that it regretted the EU had been unable to agree on a "more balanced" joint text with the OIC.

"Discrimination based on religion or belief is not confined to any one religion nor to any one part of the world," said Dutch ambassador Ian de Jong.

Well, when the first resolution condemning dhimmitude comes up, give us a call here at Jihad Watch Command Central in sunny Secure Undisclosed Locationville. We will not, however, be waiting by the phone.

And when will the UN speak out against these anti-Christian incidents?

Stop defaming Islam?

I haven't heard anyone speaking positively about it, have you?

"Islam has been the subject of very deep campaign of defamation. All you have to do is look at the films which have come out of Hollywood the last few years," said Cuba's delegate, Rodolfo Reyes Rodriguez...."

What Hollywood films?

How could Rodriguez see them anyway? They allow Hollywood films in Cuba?

Geoff

This is pure nonsence, the real perpetrators of hate is Islam and its inbred tenets of antisemitism in the Quran, and Hadiths. Its ugly totalitaian head is found everywhere on the face of this planet, and right out in the open --IE-- see Jackson Heights in New York --"Islamic Thinkers" and the Christine Withers story. Count the Islamic terrorist organizations from Lebanon to Mindanao in the Phillipines. The US state department officially recognizes nearly 40 islamic terrorist groups. They are commiting genocide in Darfur, and the Sudan as I write. How many Christian, and Jewish terrorist groups can you count through out the world?

CAIR must have a smile on their face today.

Meanwhile during another day afterwards in the chamber of The United Nations Commission on Human Rights.

Evil Dictator: And for my next trick I will ask all the evil people here to vote to deliberately prevent effective action against the genocide in Darfur. Can I have some assistants to help me in this vile action from the voting crowd. Wow!!! SO many hands. A majority!!!!! My kinda place!!!!

Re: "And when will the UN speak out against these anti-Christian incidents?"

Easy. Never. It's the UN after all.

One would like to know exactly which passages in the Qur'an, which stories among those regarded as "authentic" among the Hadith, and which details in Muhammad's life -- the Banu Qurayza, the Khaibar Oasis, Aisha, Asma bint Marwan, the Treaty of al-Hudaibiyya -- have been used improperly to "defame" Islam?

In Andrew Bostom's excellent article "Textbook Jihad in Egypt" he offered a sample of texts used in Egypt today:

"Studies in Theology: Tradition and Morals, Grade 11, (2001) pp. 291-92 ...This noble [Qur'anic] Surah [Surat Muhammad]... deals with questions of which the most important are as follows: 'Encouraging the faithful to perform jihad in God's cause, to behead the infidels, take them prisoner, break their power, and make their souls humble - all that in a style which contains the highest examples of urging to fight. You see that in His words: "When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly. Then grant them their freedom or take a ransom from them, until war shall lay down its burdens.'"

"Commentary on the Surahs of Muhammad, Al-Fath, Al-Hujurat and Qaf, Grade 11, (2002) p. 9 …When you meet them in order to fight [them], do not be seized by compassion [towards them] but strike the[ir] necks powerfully.... Striking the neck means fighting, because killing a person is often done by striking off his head. Thus, it has become an expression for killing even if the fighter strikes him elsewhere. This expression contains a harshness and emphasis that are not found in the word "kill", because it describes killing in the ugliest manner, i.e., cutting the neck and making the organ - the head of the body - fly off [the body].' "

Bostom then adds that:

"Although chilling to our modern sensibilities, particularly when being taught to children, these are merely classical interpretations of the rules for jihad war, based on over a millennium of Muslim theology and jurisprudence. And the context of these teachings is unambiguous, as the translator makes clear:

"[the] concept of jihad is interpreted in the Egyptian school curriculum almost exclusively as a military endeavor… it is war against God's enemies, i.e., the infidels… it is war against the homeland's enemies and a means to strengthening the Muslim states in the world. In both cases, jihad is encouraged, and those who refrain from participating in it are denounced."

Teaching Egyptian school children anti-infidel jihad hatred is clearly a long, ongoing , and ignoble tradition even within the modern era. As the scholar E. W. Lane reported after several years of residence in both Cairo and Luxor (initially in 1825-1828, then in 1833-1835)

'I am credibly informed that children in Egypt are often taught at school, a regular set of curses to denounce upon the persons and property of Christians, Jews, and all other unbelievers in the religion of Mohammad.'

Lane translated the prayer below from a contemporary 19th century text Arabic text, containing a typical curse on non-Muslims, recited daily by Muslim schoolchildren:

“I seek refuge with God from Satan the accursed. In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful. O God, aid El-Islam, and exalt the word of truth, and the faith, by the preservation of thy servant and the son of thy servant, the Sultan of the two continents (Europe and Asia), and the Khakan (Emperor or monarch) of the two seas [the Mediterranean and Black Seas], the Sultan, son of the Sultan (Mahmood) Khan (the reigning Sultan when this prayer was composed). O God, assist him, and assist his armies, and all the forces of the Muslims: O Lord of the beings of the whole world. O God, destroy the infidels and polytheists, thine enemies, the enemies of the religion. O God, make their children orphans, and defile their abodes, and cause their feet to slip, and give them and their families, and their households and their women and their children and their relations by marriage and their brothers and their friends and their possessions and their race and their wealth and their lands as booty to the Muslims: O Lord of the beings of the whole world.”(Emphasis added.

The seminal modern scholar of Islamic civilization, S.D. Goitein, warned more than a century later, in 1949, speaking of the Arab world generally, in particular Egypt:

“Islamic fanaticism…is now openly encouraged…writers whose altogether Western style (was mentioned earlier) have been vying with each other for some time in compiling books on the heroes and virtues of Islam… What has now become possible in educated circles may be gathered from the following quotation from an issue of the ‘New East’, an Arab monthly periodical describing itself as the ‘organ of the academic youth of the East’[emphasis added]:

‘Let us fight fanatically for our religion; let us love a man-because he is a Moslem; let us honor a man- because he is a Moslem; let us prefer him to anyone else-because he is a Moslem; and never let us make friends with unbelievers, because they have nothing but evil for us.’

And a decade later, in 1958, Lebanese Law Professor Antoine Fattal, perhaps the greatest scholar of the legal condition of non-Muslims living under the Shari'a, lamented,

"No social relationship, no fellowship is possible between Muslims and dhimmis...Even today, the study of the jihad is part of the curriculum of all the Islamic institutes. In the universities of Al-Azhar, Nagaf, and Zaitoune, students are still taught that the holy war is a binding prescriptive decree, pronounced against the Infidels, which will only be revoked with the end of the world..." [Emphasis added]

Last year, in Geneva, at a meeting of the UN Commission of Human Rights, the representative of an NGO simply read aloud passages from Egyptian textbooks, including the two quoted at the beginning of the excerpt above from the article by Bostom.

That's it. He read aloud from Egyptian textbooks.

All hell broke loose. The Pakistani representative, speaking in the name of all the Muslim countries, thundered about this terrible "defamation" of Islam. The NGO representative replied that he had not defamed Islam; he had simply read aloud from Egyptian textbooks in current use.

In the same way, in that Australian trial of two Christian ministers (converts from Islam, who knew their stuff and could not be fooled), the judge seemed to think that merely by quoting from the Qur'an those two ministers had "defamed" Islam. See the article by Mark Durie about this farcical kangaroo court, and all that it unsettlingly implies about the minds, and thoughts, of Western judges.

This is a topsy-turvy world we live in, gospoda!

the sources of islam, i.e. the qur'an and the hadith, do all the defamation themselves. a quote by a non-muslim from a source that a muslim considers to be reliable and true, does not constitute defamation. duh.

the muslims think it's okay for them to quote murderous passages from the qur'an behind closed doors to jihadist congregations, but it is not okay for non-muslims to quote those same passages to non-muslims. and they actually have the impudence to sue individuals and organizations to force this double standard on society.

the united nations must be abolished. it is a threat to mankind. let's hope Bolton gets confirmed.

Defamation of Islam comes straight from the Koran, ahadiths, and sira. Obviously this is the main reason why Muslims don't want non-Muslims to discuss Islam. They insist that Muslims run to the imam for a religious interpretation every five minutes so that the imam can tell them what a passages says and means. The Koran must remain in archaic Arabic because few read and understand Arabic, especially the archaic form. Control is what this is all about.

Islamic politicians demand that western societies show tolerance toward Islamic Sharia laws and customs, while no such accommodation is offered to non-Muslims in Islamic lands.

CAIR and other Islamic organizations in the US are quick to pull the trigger claiming religious persecution, while seeing civil rights violations in every shadow. Meanwhile the same ‘sensitive’ individuals remain in complete denial to human rights violations perpetrated by Muslims worldwide.

The UN and Organization of Islamic States are equally quick to complain of the slightest appearance of bias or any kind of antisemitism, but even quicker to ignore gross violations of ‘human-rights’ perpetrated by Muslims against non-believers.

All Muslims victims must be properly avenged, but apparently there is no such thing as an Infidel victim. When the victim is not Muslim, or insufficiently Muslim, hyper-sensitivity suddenly turns to mind-boggling apathy.

The UN will speak out against such oppressions of non-Muslims or non-Arab Muslims at the hands of Muslims when the UN is no longer numerically dominated by the so-called "non-aligned" powers, who are probably more cohesive than NATO or the EU or any "Western" bloc could ever hope to be when it comes to the treatment of one of their own.

Folks,

For those of you who may be unaware of just how greatly the United Nations influences American schools, please to read the article from WorldNetDaily. It discusses the matter in alarming detail.

While the article in WND doesn't go into the cause-and-effect relationship between the nihilism that is rampant in our schools and the widespread presence of Islam in them, it is the case that in addition to working with the U.N. as its "partner in crime," Islam has its own well-oiled machine operating independantly of the U.N.

Our schools were "softened up" by the nihilist Left with deliberately induced ignorance of simple facts, PC, diversity, multiculturalism, and moral equivalence. Islam used these tools invented and developed by the nihilists as a means to crawl under the tent into our educational circus to do to our children what they have done to their own.

Please read the article:

http://www.wnd.com/news/printer-friendly.asp?ARTICLE_ID=36752

Cubed, I just added WorldNet to my reading list, thanks!

From the WorldNet article:

No longer are American children learning about the structure of a federal republic compared to a parliamentary democracy. No longer are children learning the difference between capitalism and socialism. No longer are children being taught why the United States became the most powerful economic engine the world has ever known.

Instead, they are being taught that with less than 5 percent of the world's population, the U.S. uses 25 percent of the world's resources and produces 25 percent of the world's pollution. They are being taught that the U.S. is the No. 1 terrorist nation. They are being taught that the rest of the world is mired in poverty because of the greedy capitalists in the United States

The U.N. is a gigantic mouth without any teeth. They are crooked, and they are powerless. They cannot stop the West from thinking and speaking freely. If the Muslims don't want to be viewed as asinine social misfits, then they should stop behaving like asinine social misfits, and stop hiding behind their book of war, deceipt and bigotry.

The U.N. is a joke, and so not a funny one. When Sudan is on the Human Rights Commission, you know something is terribly wrong.

The UN is a farce. Get islam (religion in general) out of the state funded schools and stop filling our kids heads with superstitious nonsense. This is pure thought police and outwith the scope of the UN. Are they going to tell us white is really black next ? Who the feck are the UN and what is it they do anyway ? USA, stop funding this sham. A bureaucracy of freeloading, corrupt scumbags more interested in lining their own pockets and debating petty bollox like this.

I'm writing the US Senate, ratify John Bolton lst, second get us the flock out of the UN.

Bolton is correct it is worthless, in fact it is now dominated by Muslims.

And talk about worthless, how about this administration's reluctance to call the genocide of Christians and Blacks in Sudan, genocide?

Billions to invade Iraq, to replace an apostate dictator, but not even a cruise missle to take down a Muslim theocracy that is persecuting and killing Christians daily.

Hmmm.

Cubed: I can't think of anything more nihilistic than the Christian right, with it's fundamentalistic end times mentality.

Bush Admin calls Sudan violence Genocide:

http://brownwatch.squarespace.com/to-the-present/2004/9/19/bush-administration-calls-sudan-violence-genocide.html

By the way giaour, was it you the other day who said there already was a secular government in place in Iraq?
Saddam, Secular....

http://www.entropical-paradise.com/id172.html

Gary, Iraq under Sadddam was not an Islamic Theocracy. Saddam was considered an apostate.

You of course know what an Apostate in Islam is, and what that means don't you.

Now thanks to Bush and Co, Iraq is now an Islamic Republic, and adjunct to the mullahcracy of Iran (which by the way benefited from and supported the invasion of Iraq).

Yeh Bush FINALLY got around to calling Sudan violence Genocide, but back page a month and notice that he declined to follow congress which had declared it genocide.

And so what he declares it genocide. He isn't doing anything about Sudan is he. One of the big reasons he used to invade Iraq was that Saddam murdered his own people, or have you chosen to forget that. Meanwhile Sudan is not only murdering it's own people, but it is a hotbed and haven for Wahhabism and Terrorism, well so is Saudi Arabia, but that's OK isn't it, because the Saudis are business partners and friends with your Bush.

You guys remind me of Ted Bundy's mother, your love is so deep that you ignore and rationalize treachery.

Check out Spences first post today on Sperry's "Infiltration", and get back to me about your apologia for George bin Bush and his coven of Islamists.

While the article in WND doesn't go into the cause-and-effect relationship between the nihilism that is rampant in our schools posted by cube

Thanks for bringing up the issue of nihilism.

'I'm Ready to Die': Fundamentalist Christianity Instills in Millions of American Followers a Depressing-and Dangerous-Nihilism

The U.N. is the most corrupt and corrupting institution of modern times. It did not start out that way. Those who founded it were prompted by the awful example of Nazi Germany, and the experience of World War II. Many of its founders, including Rene Cassin, became appalled by the antisemitism and other expressions of moral decay, and psychic disarray, that became the staple of the United Nations after the first twenty years of its existence.

The world would be better without the United Nations, but if it continues to exist, it should be exposed in every way. In particular, the takeover of much of the bureaucracy, and much of the agenda, by an Islamintern International, is not accidental. Such American ambassadors as William F. Buckley, Jr. and Daniel Patrick Moynihan wrote scathing accounts of the anti-Israel attitudes in the U.N., and the Kangaroo Court atmosphere. But they did not realize, and most people do not realize, that this anti-Israel business was simplly part of a larger, pro-Jihad agenda. If the U.N.'s attention is focused on the mighty empire of Israel, which is attacked in every conceivable and inconceivable forum, that is less time to spend on, for example, the massacres of Christians in the southern Sudan or East Timor, or the harassment of Hindus in Bangladesh. It is less time that might eventually be spent discussing OPEC oil prices as the main cause of Third-World poverty, and demands that the vast amounts taken in by the Muslim states (often mini-states with a few hundred thousand natives) be shared with the poor, while for the last thirty years the ridiculous treatment of Arab oil states as members of the impoverished world has been allowed, farcically, to continue, and foreign aid is always assumed to come only from Europe, Japan, Australia, and of course the United States. Who will ante up mmoney for southern Sudan, where the victims of Jihad should now be helped by money from those rich Muslims who have indirectly funded their persecution and murder? Who pays for aid to Egpt or the "Palesitnians"? Why is not made entirely the responsibility of the rich Arab Muslims to take care of the poorer Arab Muslims, instead of this bland assumption that the Americans should always come in and support those who hate the, because their ideology teaches them to hate them?

Those who worked there in the 1950s, when one could encounter such people as the Russian Joseph Hessen (Gessen) among the talented and worldly staff of European-educated translators (autre temps, autre peurs), know how different the U.N. was, and what a horrible place it has become. Shirley Hazzard may be read on this score.

The U.N. needs to be ridimensionato -- cut down to its moral size, which is small indeed. And if the American representative is to be effective, he must stress constantly the "Islamic" penetration of the U.N., of which many may be unaware.

Bolton may start with a single name: Edward Mortimer. Someone on his staff could google "Posted by Hugh" and "jihadwatch" and "Edward Mortimer" to find out more about this sinister apologist for Islam, who is now the chief speechwriter and self-described "Senior Adviser" to Kofi Annan. Mortimer's presence, in the U.N.'s empyrean, is one of the most damning, and telling, facts that need to be submitted to far from candid world.

Gary, cubed, et al. The difference between you and I, and I suggest kj, is that apologists, apologia, rationalizations, excuses for Islam and Islamic behavior makes my stomach roll and the vessels at my temples bulge. Be it Democrat or Republican, left or right, conservative or liberal.

You on the other hand distract, distort, deny (all tactics of a disinfo specialist) when it comes to treachery and betrayal by those you consider conservative (especially this administration).

(Are you a shill for the RNC?, you sure act like one.)

It's also my opinion and observation, that you are a Jihadist as well, you have your own Jihad against everyone you consider "liberal" or left, and frankly you (and others) are opportunists who merely use the Islamic Jihad as an excuse to further your own propaganda and ulterior motive, which is the "culture war" from within, a war started by the way by opportunistic televangelists and political hacks like Karl Rove.

This war can only be won, the problem can only be solved, by building bridges between westerners, but you are intent on building walls, not bridges, and that my friend is suicidal and suicide is nihilism.

Misguided and misinformed liberals and leftists can be educated, but not by attack dogs like you and others on the extreme right.

I will repeat again. A house divided against itself cannot stand, and opportunistic televangelists and politicos have started a culture war, creating irrational fears, and thus divided the house..

You and your ilk are the best allies the Islamoids could ever wish for.

I totally agree Hugh. The UN is indeed sinister.

Face it, the Moslemah has a virtual monopoly.

I don't have the numbers but how many Muslim nations belong to the UN and consider that they all vote in unity (tawhid).

And now they want more power on the Security Council.

The sooner that dinosaur is dead the better.

So Bush finally decides to call Sudan a genocide.

So where is the troop build up on the borders of Sudan, where are the F-117, B-2's, the Cruise Missles (at least Clinton launched a cruise missle against Sudan, not that the tail wag the dog manuever did any good).

Why won't Bush do anything about this genocide in Sudan, he wasted no effort invading Iraq, in fact the plans to invade Iraq were drawn up before he became President, called Project for a New American Century. Clinton had too much sense to act on it, (and we see the consequences of action now, besides the bloodshed, violence, death of our troops and waste of our economy, all that has resulted is creating a neo con approved Islamic Republic of Iraq, an adjunct and natural ally of Iran, and a recruiting and training ground for a new generation of Jihadi's, the same function as Bosnia. The Battle Al Qaida hasn't lost yet a review of Evan Kohlmann's Al Qaida in Europe, the Bosnia AFghan Network.

Relevance to Bush. It seems that your president is supporting the (Muslim) Kosovarians genocide against the Serbs. Why would that be? Very simple, Kosovo is home to Camp Bondsteel, the most expensive US Army installation in the world (to date) builtand maintained by the way by Kellogg Brown and Root, a subsidiary of Cheney's Haliburton, and along with other bases in Kosovo and Bosnia, sitting astride a proposed pipeline route from the Caspian sea.

So long as there is oil profits, the "conservatives" have no trouble doing business with and protecting the Islamists. In fact Cheney was chairman of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, and Bush daddy is senior advisor to the Carlyle Group, which numbers amongst it's investors the bin Ladens and Saudis.

Back to Sudan.Bush won't do anything because Sudan's biggest customer is China, and China is favored trading partner of America. In fact cheap Chinese goods keep our economy rolling. China has tied the Yuen to the dollar, not the Euro.

Anyway the Sudan Genocide will just go on and on and on until all of Sudan is Islamic, just like Saudi Arabia.

And Osama and the rest of the Muslim brotherhood gang will continue to use Sudan as a refuge and base of operations.

Point being Words are cheap, actions speak louder than words, now I'm awaiting Bush to translate his declaration of genocide into solid action.

And I'll wait till hell freezes over.

Giaour, what do you care? I guess only Christians from Africa are worthy of life?

"Billions to invade Iraq, to replace an apostate dictator, but not even a cruise missle to take down a Muslim theocracy that is persecuting and killing Christians daily."

You should be cheering Christian death, do you post at DU and Kos?

I don't normally comment on the left / right issue in the US but from what I can see on Fox News it's the so-called right wingers like O'Reilly, Hannity, Kasich (sadly these people aren't in power) who want to protect their country and are also critical of the Bush administration. I don't know what to expect from people like T. Kennedy, H. Clinton or H. Dean though. I still think the left is more likely to be in bed with Islamists than your so-called right. Conservative doesn't mean Nazis. I'm German and I should know about that.

Pointing out to the Public what the Academia is brainwashing hundreds of thousands in- which is Nothing less than the islamization of thought- is obfuscating for Bush... Lord God, that is some intense level of hatred you have, giaour, to be so fixated.

Interesting article on the Frontpage Magazine Website

Unholy Alliance: The "Peace Left" and the Islamic Jihad Against America: http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=17702

Thank you disillusionised_german.

Why is my Typekey square purple? Is it because I am getting perturbed?

Carolyn~ according to people like giaour and kj, we are already perturbed :P

So it must be something else.

Is it defaming Islam to say that Muhammad was an epileptic lunatic who had hallucinatory seizures during his treks into the darkness of the Arabian desert? That he conned the Arabians of the day to believe these hallucinations were divine revelations?

Giaour-
Why won't Bush do anything about the Sudan?
Our military is fantastic, but even they have their limits, as do our financial resources. Given that they are tied up in Iraq and Afghanistan, with a potentially nuclear Iran just next door, I believe their plate is quite full.
However, there are other countries who can get involved and help with the Darfur situation. As a US citizen, I'm more then willing to give my full support to European action, or even the UN blue helmets (if they would actually deal with the situation).
I personally find the situation in the Sudan appalling, but I also think that it's time for some other countries to step up to the plate.
Treehugger

Just when I think that the UN cannot do anything more to lower my estimation of it, I'm proved wrong. This is lower than low. This is revolting. The UN, grovelling before its Islamic Master. How sickening. It stands by and lets people be slaughtered by the very people it insists needs to be protected from "villification". This is insane. I just cannot fathom how it's gotten this bad. DCW, it's teeth are not just crooked, but rotten. Brown, stinking and rotten. Its very soul is stinking and rotten. That Kofi is particularly loathesome. The UN is a joke. A dirty, unfunny joke.

The films coming out of Hollywood? You mean that one where they changed the bad guy from being Muslims to being South African? Tom Clancy's book I think it was. Or the grovel message after an episode of 24 that showed Muslims being ... terrorists? I doubt we'll see anything coming out of Hollywood that will show Muslims as being what they're best at - terrorists.

And they complain about "islamophobic violence" after the Islam-inspired murder of Van Gogh, but not a word about the disgusting nature of the crime. No, they're more worried about the backlash against the precious, hard done by Muslims. As always - divert the attention from the atrociousness of Islam, make the victim be Islam instead of the people suffering from Islam.

Basically the message is: shut up infidel, even when your rights and your lives are being threatened or extinguished by Islam, shut up about it. Complaining or protesting about your treatment is Islamophobic. Why can't you just be good dhimmis with no backbone or pride, like Kofi Annan? He's a stellar example of what a good dhimmi is. (Spit!)

Here's the usual crap from the BBC... In an article on BBC News Online titled "Killer jailed over poison plot" the last two paragraphs read:

"In his statement, Deputy Assistant Commissioner Clarke added: "We must also remember that this case was about a conspiracy between a small group of terrorists.

"I would like to make it absolutely clear, as I have in the past, that the police service knows that they are not representative of the overwhelming majority of the law-abiding Muslim community who have stated their total rejection of violence and terrorism."

It gets even better here:

This reminds me of an editorial cartoonist- Jeff MacNeilly?- who once commented on another of these sterling U.N. 'declarations' by showing a motely crew of assorted tinpot dictators, pseudo-generalissimos and mad mullahs at the council table ---as one rose to speak, saying something like:

"I hereby propose that we declare stupidity to be a form of intelligence!"

The U.N. looks more and more like the Politburo.

Or a pirate ship.

Just more evidence that the UN is irrational and has no clue about what it is actually doing.

It's funny how the UN has just outlawed nuclear terrorism.

UN outlaws nuclear terrorism

But it won't lay a finger on the people (the jihadists) who would mostly be nuclear terrorists. Instead it appoints them to lead the Human Rights Commission and joins them in flaming Israel (if not all Jews worldwide) and America.

It's also funny to see how a institution created to be the physical implementation of the Truman Doctrine to help fight Communism all over the world has turned into what else but a socialist tool. We should put the EU and the UN on ignore mode.

That article about the UN and our public schools makes me even more glad that my parents sent me through the Catholic school system (my family is Lutheran though). I had to memorize the Declaration, the most important parts of the Constitution, and all the countries, their capitals, and the major geographic objects of the continents (rivers and etc.) in their middle school. Unbelieveably, this was in the heavily left area of Minneapolis,MN!

I am a freshmen at MTU now by the way.

Evil Dictator: Hey, you. Yeah you!!! The little driveling democrat alone in the back row. Come down here and help me do my trick. WHAT...DID I HEAR DID YOU SAY "PERVERSITY!!!! The majority are here to enjoy my evil performance, but you have no consideration for their evil feelings. What do you think we should do audience? I know...for my next trick lets have a vote to tell them to shut up!!!!!

(Audience errupts in wild screams of delight)

America's youth are corrupted by our left-wing, America-hating, socialist publItachi, it's a relief to know that not all of ic school system. You actually learned something in school besides the joys of multiculturalism, moral relativity, revisionist history, and the evils of America and Western Civilization. If you can recognize the fact that the U.N. is an inflated, archaic, utterly corrupt debacle, you have done very well indeed!

Are you ready to undergo four years of left-wing indoctrination? You seem level-headed and intuitive; don't let them intimidate you!

It's time to form a new version of the inept UN, a United Democratic Nations can be created for only free Nations that respect all aspects of Democracy and can vote out any nation that deviates from the Charter and fails to allow external audits of elections and Government operations.

Any Country that wants to join will have to meet pre-set criteria on health care, workers rights, humane prisons, and a fair tax system that doesn't keep the poor in rags while lining the pockets of wealthy Politicians and judges.

Islam defames itself. How is that our fault?

Meanwhile the murder of Christians in muslim nations continues unabated.

PAKISTAN

12 April 2005

KIDNAPPED PASTOR AND DRIVER MURDERED AND MUTILATED FOR EVANGELISING MUSLIMS IN PAKISTAN

A Pakistani Christian pastor, Shamoon Babar, and his driver were kidnapped on Tuesday 5th April, in Peshawar. Their abandoned bodies were found on Thursday 7th April, dumped on a road on the outskirts of the city. It is believed they were murdered because Shamoon had been trying to convert Muslims to Christianity.

Muslim nations form a cohesive block in the UN, thus allowing them to dominbate the proceedings of the General Assembly. There is no doubt that this has to be broken up to bring these nations to their senses. One way is to form a new world organisation, reflecting the new world order. The new UN should be for those nations that fulfill the criteria that they are a tolerant democratic society, not just in law but in society at large. On this basis all muslim nations will fail, and thus be disqualified from being part of the international commmunity.

This has tremendous ramifications, as non-members will be ineligible to funds from the World Bank, IMF etc. They also will not have access to international services on postal and phone services, and numerous other international agreements such as IATA.

This may appear a tall order but it is doable if Pres Bush decides to do it.

Giaour, you dope, if you fight a war, you need allies, and when it comes to allies, you can't make anything out of cookie dough except cookies. In World War II, we were allied with Stalin, who was a red, red, red sun in the hearts of progressive intellectuals everywhere from the Sorbonne to Shanghai, and we got a Communized Old World as a result. If we're going to fight Islamofascism, we'll end up in bed with Muslims who don't like it.

So, how should we fight Islamofascism? Massacre every Muslim who won't renounce his religion, even if he tipped off the NYPD about a possible bomber or faithfully translates intercepted phone calls for NSA? Tell ya what, Giaour, since you know the Bible better than I do, prove to me the Muslims descend from Canaan or Amalek, and I'll strap on my broadsword and chainmail to join the next crusade, OK? Perhaps something from Second Hezekiah? Or, maybe you can find something in the Gospels of Sosthenus and Bob (after all, I'm just a retard who accepts only those of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) that would make me a martyr if I strap on a portable nuke to detonate when I pose as a pilgrim on the Hajj? You'd be rid of a lot of us "religionists" that way, no?

Others, the UN was not set up to extend the Truman doctrine; but in the fond hope that those who caught it in the neck during the war would find a way from keeping it from happening again. Never mind that Stalin, who had shamelessly aggrandized the Soviet Union with territory and loot (from Petsamo to Bessarabia and Tannu Tuva; plus the industrial plants of western Galicia, Bohemia, Saxony, and the Chinese Northeast) was a big player--and got three secure votes in the General Assembly (he wanted 15; and our upright democratic statesmen worked out such an oh-so sensible compromise allowing Ukraine and Byelarus in).

Well, Muslims who aren't really Islamofascists are probably former Muslims now or are part of that phantom silent group known as moderates.

Actually what we need to do first is define a legal line between extremist militant "sects" of Islam like Wahabbism and mainstream Islam such as Sunnis and Shia.

p.s.

MTU -Michigan Tech. I'm a software engineer major so I'm far far away from any Liberal Arts.

Giaour is just lazy. He hasn't bothered to read the Koran or the New Testament, just summaries from his most popular websites. Get off your duff, Giaour.
