Violent clashes rock central Iran

It's a race to the finish: will the mullahs get nukes before they are toppled by their long-suffering people? From SMCCDI:

Violent clashes happened, this morning, in Darioon which is a suburb of Shiraz located in central Iran. Hundreds of protesters retaliated against the brutal attack of the Islamic regime's militiamen sent to smash their peaceful demonstration.

Hand made incendiary devices and pieces of stone responded to the militiamen use of rubber bullets, clubs and tear gas.

Slogans against the regime and its leadership were shouted by maverick demonstrators who closed "Shiraz-Kharameh" highway with enflamed tires and construction materials.

Overthrowing the mullahcracy is a formidable undertaking. The mullahcracy replaced the Shah's SAVAK with the EVAK, which is worse than the SAVAK was ever.

The notorious Evin Prison, is the site of horrendous murders and tortures, that make those of the SAVAK pale in comparison.

An underreported tale is the horrible butchery that followed in the wake of Khomeini's revolution.

Not too long ago they arrested a Canadian Iranian photo journalist Zarah Kazemi, and tortured her to death, they refused to release her body to her son in Canada because they knew the autopsy would reveal the torture. Although the case of Zarah could be a cause celebre if taken up by this administration, you haven't heard a peep about it have you?

Unlike the Shah, who relied on his SAVAK and Army, the mullahcracy has a cadre of volunteers the Revolutionary Guard, backed up by religious authority. It is the revolutionary guard and the religious police (shades of Saudi Arabia) that keep the mullahs in power.

The Islamic regime's militia IS the Revolutionary Guard, who of course are led by the mullahs.

It's a forelorn task for the students, but I wish them luck.

Meanwhile it is the Iranian mullahcracy that has been providing succord, support and financing to the Supreme Council for the (Shi'a) Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) which is headed by Ayatollah al Sistani, the new Iranian Prime Minister Ja'afri, and Abdul Azis al Hakim,it was founded by Ayatollah Muhammad Baqr al Hakim. Which according to their own web page has secret cells all over Iraq. SCIRI has long time Iranian Ties, and also ties to the neo cons.

"Paul Wolfowitz was the special guest at a memorial service in Arlington, Va., for an influential Shiite cleric killed in a car bombing in Najaf, Iraq. The deputy defense secretary hailed Ayatollah Mohammad Baqir al-Hakim as a "true Iraqi patriot,".....His Islamist political party, the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, and its 15,000-man militia had been funded by Iran, a member of President Bush's "axis of evil."......

Chalabi, a Shiite, had worked openly with Iranians for many years, most prominently through his contacts with SCIRI [Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq], which was known to be an arm of Iranian intelligence. In fact, SCIRI was active in Chalabi's INC from 1992 through 1996 and was named in the 1998 Iraqi Liberation Act, signed into law by President Clinton, as one of the opposition groups that the United States should work with to topple Saddam.....

Chalabi had long been an informal conduit between the United States and Iran, which have not had formal diplomatic relations since American hostages were seized in the 1979 Islamic revolution....."

In order for Iran to be liberated, the country should be invaded because its oppressive rulers develop their nuclear program even further.

Let me preface by saying that I loath the Islamic Republic of Iran and all it stands for, yet I find it disgustingly hypocritical to see Westerners (chiefly Americans) advocate inavding Iran. Where were you when Pakistan a country that has enjoyed about two weeks of genuine democracy and a dispicable record of aggression in its sixty year history got nuclear weapons???

Oh I forgot some clever Americans take Pakistan for an ally in your 'war on terror'. One again nothing shows the world your love of freedom and democracy better than supporting every vicious right-wing military dictator on earth (Pinochet, Mubarak, Suharto, Chang Kei-Shek, Mobutu, and on and on). Isn't that exactly the approach which caused Iran to boil over after overtyhrowing a democracy in favour of the 'freedom-loving' Shah?

IRAN - OPPORTUNITY FOR REGIME CHANGE

The strategic consequences of the Mad Mullahs of Iran going nuclear are unimaginable.

I don't believe for one minute that President Bush will blink no matter what our old allies may whine.. There are three carrier task force groups steaming in that direction now.

The best solution is for the Iranian people to effect a regime change. If you read Dr. Zin (below) there are massive demonstrations and riots already occurring in Iran for the last two weeks. A key element in enabling this to occur is to send the message that the free world supports the Iranian people.

To achieve this mission we must ensure the free flow of objective news/information into, from, and within Iran. The MSM is failing miserably in this task. The Internet and the Blogos have the power to carryout this mission independently of the MSM.

We are at a tipping point in the GWOT. We have a strategic opportunity with the fall of the Iranian regime to deliver a crushing and fatal blow to the enemy and its ideology of Islamofascism. We must seize the moment.

"I find it disgustingly hypocritical to see Westerners (chiefly Americans) advocate inavding Iran."

Who advocates "invading Iran"?

Kali-

some tragically valid points.

Hugh-

Kali was answering the previous note by 'Christian' about 'invading Iran'.

Kali again-

Iran is in need of help for its students and intellectuals in revolt against the 7th century regime that overthrow an 18th century ruthless monarchy.

The Shah was a despotic fool, cruel and blind. But the ayatollah Khomeini and his poisonously vile followers are drunk on power to the point of being as sickening as any Atilla the Hun or Savanarola.

Invasion won't happen. But bunker buster bombs taking out any nearing-completion nuke facilties is likely, as Israel wiped out the Osirak reactor when Saddam Hussein tried the same WMD grab.

Pakistan was 'allowed' to 'counterbalance' the India-developed A-bomb with its "Islamic Bomb", but how smart a geopolitical move this will turn out to be will only be known once Musharref goes.

This current crisis in Iran good news to those who hope for a free Persian people in this great, ancient land. I hope the West is supporting them 'subterraneanly'. And the sooner they overthrow the miscreant mullahs, the happier a country the historical Persia will be.

(Maybe this is why the Iranian leaders were at the Pope's funeral on Friday... looking for a fine coffin-maker for themselves.)

This weekend Canada received a terse response
from Iran over our request for information about a Canadian journalist that was tortured and sexually assaulted prior to being killed for taking photos outside a prison that Iran likes to keep from the media.
Iran avers the claim that she was an Irani befor
getting her Canadian citizenship and therefore subject to the Courts of Iran when she violated
one of our laws.Iran claims the Doctor that examined her at the morgue is a liar and used her death to get into canada from Sweden if he exposed the alleged murder of a Canadian in Iran.

Iran is said to be the new Islamic movement
to eventually claim the world for Allah, even a Canadian Muslim agrees and he's behind the demand for "Shariah-Law" in Canada for female Muslims.
I say FEMALE muslims because the Quran is skewed
to benefit Men and the ones enforcing the Shariah
will be a panel of male Clerics that have already
admitted they are using a "True" form of Shariah
from the major Muslim Countries.

CAIR would be far better off to denouce Iran as an example of the "True" version of Islam and Muhammeds Peaceful teachings.

But don't hold your breath.

Poor bastards. Victims of Islam.

Actually, Iran's Islamofascist tyrants view the West as an inclusivist lap dog. And why not? Muslims treat Jewish and Christian books as Satanic-text, and deny any community of faith among the 3 faiths who claim Abrahamic origins. Unfortunately, the President of the US cannot - and will not - attempt to comprehend Muslim admissions. Check out this Pollyanna act from which US Evangelicals came to disagreement with the leader of the Free World:'

EVANGELICAL OUTRAGE OVER BUSH'S 'SAME GOD' REMARK By David Rennie in Washington
Telegraph, London,
November 24, 2003
Evangelical American Christians have turned on President George W Bush after he said, at a press conference with Tony Blair, that Christians and Muslims worshipped the same God. Mr Blair side-stepped the invitation to discuss his religious faith in public but Mr Bush followed his practice and declared: "I believe we worship the same God." Though a born-again Christian who has wooed evangelicals and other religious conservatives, since the September 11 attacks Mr Bush has taken pains to defend Islam as a religion of peace, and deny any religious component to the war on terror. But his comments received a swift rebuke from Christian leaders, and caused shock on religious talk radio stations.

The Baptist Press news service published a rebuttal from Richard D Land, head of the ethics and religious commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, the largest Protestant church in America, with 10 million members. Though applauding Mr Bush as a man of deep faith, Mr Land said the president was "Commander-in-Chief, not theologian-in-chief", and was "simply mistaken". Leading American evangelic ministers have previously described Islam as a violent religion.

Nothing In Common
By Abdullah Al Araby
Islam, in the West, is fighting its battle of acceptance and legitimacy. Muslim activists are working fervently trying to improve Islam's image. Their goal is to create an environment in which Islam can be easily propagated. Their tool is as old as Islam itself, but they have just rediscovered it. This tool is telling Christians that Islam and Christianity have a lot in common. They cite Islam's belief in the Bible, God, Jesus, Mary, the prophets, the day of judgment and Paradise.

This tactic is not new to Islam. Fourteen centuries ago, Mohammed, the prophet of Islam, used it when he started preaching his new religion in Mecca. At the beginning when Mohammed was weak, he was conciliatory and appeasing to Christians. He told them, "We believe in what has been sent down to us (The Quran), and sent down to you (The Bible). Our God is the same as your God." Surah 29:46. Later, in Medina, after Mohammed became strong, all this changed. Allah, allegedly, tells him then, "Fight people of the Book (Christians and Jews) who do not accept the religion of the truth (Islam) until they pay tribute by hand, being inferior." Surah 9:29
-------------------------
Third, see this Preface quote from "Jesus: Prophet of Islam" by Col. Muhammed Ata ur-Rahim (Pakistan), in 1977:
"To the Muslims, Christianity is a historical reality based on a metaphysical fiction. Because its foundations are mythical and invented, as opposed to existential and revealed, it appears to us as a locked system of negation. Declaring a doctrine of love, it establishes inquisition. Preaching pacifism, it enacts the crusades. Calling to poverty, it constructs the vast evidence of wealth called the Church. Declaring 'mysteries" it involves itself in politics. Reformation, far from resolving the contradictions, revealed them further. Declaring the priesthood of all believers, they established a priesthood, but with a shift of focus by which the inherent insanity in the Christian fiction began to emerge. The qualifications for priesthood in the reformed churches were purely 'academic,' while before a man could win a place in the hierarchy through piety and withdrawl from the world. This was the beginning of the concept of the secular - now there was a zone of 'religion' and a zone of politics. Church and state are held to be separate...The meaning of the book for Muslims, apart from its fascinating account of the ruthless politics behind the society that tried unsuccessfully to destroy the prophetic teaching of Islam, and which nevertheless successfully brought the khalifate to an end and introduced masonic and atheistic doctrines inside the Muslim community, lies in its clarifying for us exactly why that once so powerful society is now spent, exhausted and bankrupt. In the end of the day, Christianity was, simply, EUROPE. And Europe is FINISHED. Islam is the WORLD's..."

You heard it from a Muslim partisan of Zia-fascism in Pakistan, in context of perceived Western decline in the late seventies: indulge aggressive Muslim clericism, and the West's end is seeded, by our own near-sightedness. Seculars and Southern Baptists need to get together to coerce termination of Bush-Wolfowitz' Abrahamist-Surrender to the mortal enemy. The Leader of the Free World must be personally committed to the eradication of Islamofascism on a global scale, and by any means necessary. And the demographic subversion of the West, by frontline jihadis in the disguise of immigrants and converts, must be suppressed, in defense of majority liberty. Our fate is: destruction of the West, unless the suicide of Bush-Wolfowitz inclusivism is identified and the mortal enemy eradicated.

smokem-

It IS a shame Bush just doesn't fight'em and shut up about 'em. (He's like a three foot tall kid in a four foot deep pool.)

I like what his dog Barney has to say much better:

GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

(Dogs don't like dogmatic Islam.)

Uri Avnery - AKA: scum of the earth - celebrates the left-Islamofascist harvest of legitimated terror, that Bush-Wolfowitz' "democratic domino" folly is delivering to the anti-US/Israel mob:

http://www.iht.com/bin/print_ipub.php?file=/articles/2005/04/07/opinion/edavnery.html

To rephrase an 17th century saw: where stupidity prospers, none dare call it stupidity.

BigSleep:

Please don't discount Southern Baptist (etc) influence on the President. Europe is demographically swamped by the mortal enemy, because they lack both Secular (my position) and religious barriers to Muslim subversion. US Seculars and Religicos will likely unite in defense of liberty, after Seculars perceive stoppable aggression against separation of church and State and Religicos cease to focus evil in Janet Jackson's exposed boob.

GWB's regime was never a Brains-Trust - what with Karen Hughes leading daily head-bowing devotions to backwood's idiocy - but with Wolfowitz-dream-politics out of harm's way, common sense might filter into the White House. I remain a pessimist, but one who subscribes to the dictum that politics is the art of the possible.

So-called "aggression against seperation of church and state" ie; religious fanatics trying to create a theocracy here, is a fraud and a cover to create a real theocracy-- so-called secular humanism/ Pragmatist Utopianism(psuedo-science dogmatism).

Bush is a Pragmatic Utopian. Or a puppet of them. So is Kerry. It's all about elitist maintainance of power and pursuit of unlimited "freedom" for them, and illusionary freedom and willing subservience for the rest of us.

How about a good set of Michelins burning around the neck of the Mullah regime of Iran? I'll buy the gas! After all I know what comes between a good set of Michelins and the Iranian leadership!

I'll stay out of Iran, thank you. Back in the 1930's, Japan saw China as a stew of feuding Nationalists, Communists, warlords, and whatnot, went in, and discovered, lo and behold, a nation after all that forgot its internal feuds long enough to keep about a million Japanese troops tied down. John Adams had the right idea. I wish liberty in Iran well; but we're deployed enough as it is.

As for Bush saying Muslims and Christians worship the same God, I say that at this point, I part company with the President. A god who did not become man for our salvation is not my God. I certainly respect neihgbors who live at peace with me; but I'm not going to pretend that there is no such thing as truth.
