Some 100 survivors of terror attacks, relatives of those killed, police investigators, Magen David Adom paramedics, and ZAKA volunteers will testify in what American authorities regard as the most important terrorist trial in the United States since the September 11, 2001 attacks.The group will be flown to Tampa, Florida early next month to serve as prosecution witnesses in the trial of four Arab-Americans accused of belonging to Islamic Jihad and raising funds to finance terror attacks, including some that took place in Israel.
The trial is due to start on June 6, with jury selection to begin this week.
The Israeli witnesses, flying to Florida at the expense of the U.S. government, include survivors of terror attacks going back to 1989, as well as relatives of some of those killed, eyewitnesses, doctors from the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Abu Kabir in South Tel Aviv and police officers....
Among the terror attacks for which the four are being charged are the Bus 405 incident, from 1989, when an Islamic Jihad man forced an Egged bus off the highway and into a ravine on the road to Jerusalem, the 1992 pitchfork attack at a training base, the 1995 double suicide bombings at Beit Lid, the 1996 bombing at the Dizengoff Center, and a terror attack in Karkur in 2002. More than 100 Israelis and Americans were killed in the attacks mentioned in the 118-page indictment.
The Israelis will be asked to testify about their experiences.
The lead defendant in the case is Sami al-Arian, a University of South Florida computer engineering professor who has been held by authorities for the last two years. Also on trial are Sameeh Hammoudeh, Hatim Naji Fsariz and Ghassan Zayed Ballut.
Finally, the U.S.A. is getting serious about prosecuting terrorists and their supporters!
I remember watching media reports on the above attacks.
The media called the terrorists, "Freedom Fighter" and "Rebels".
I only hope its a real judge sitting on the bench, and not some do gooder lefty.

These prosecutors and the witnesses that they are bringing to trial to prove the prosecution case are going to face something close to evil incarnate. In all seriousness, pray for the prosecutors and the witnesses, they will need strength to carry this through.
I can't help but fume about the idea of the incredible work that the government legal teams will have to do to prove the obvious, facts that really everybody in their right mind knows is true, WHILE, our borders are as open as a saloon door and Sami Al-Arians good friends are walking across the border right now. I consider myself a political conservative but it looks like the Republican Party has joined the Democrat party in selling out America.

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iran's (search) foreign minister made a historic trip to Baghdad on Tuesday, pledging to secure his country's borders to stop militants from entering Iraq and saying the "situation would have been much worse" if Tehran were actually supporting the insurgency as the U.S. has claimed.
Iranian envoy Kamal Kharrazi's (search) trip — two days after Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice paid a surprise visit to support the war-ravaged country's political process — was the highest-level visit by an official from any of Iraq's six neighboring countries since Saddam Hussein's ouster two years ago.
Kharrazi, who held talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari (search), President Jalal Talabani and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari on a day of deepening sectarian violence, vowed that his country was committed to supporting Iraq's political and economic reconstruction and would do all it could to improve security conditions.

I saw john timmons speak at my jewish campus last night, he told us how he Sami Al-Arian from living in St petersburg florida and that he made the govt aware on numerous occasions what was going on. They refused to do anything because he was tied to the saudis and they didn't want to embaress the old shieks. So he donated a dollar to there charities and under florida law he sued to find out where his money was going. So thats how this all came about. I got him to sign one of the best books you'll read called The secret war against the jews. The c.i.a wasn't to pleased because alot of the stuff in the book was still classified.
Wonder if the local muslims will show up and protest or blow something up? Hope they have adequate security and protect those witnesses...

PC Killer, the problem is that not all of the Israelis would move. And the ones that stayed would be sitting ducks.
AND without the steady fixation on Israel and the Joooz, the Muslims would simply redouble their efforts to take over elsewhere (Sudan, Chechnya, Lebanon, Kashmir.) They have already got the right-wing, pro-oil MSM to call Kashmir "Indian Controlled Kashmir", even though according to the Treaty of Partition, the whole thing is supposed to belong to India. [How about the Baja Plan? Does anyone here know about that; the idea of buying a big piece of Baja California Norte (or Sud) from Mexico and relocationg Israel? The land can't be that expensive. Excluding the Jordan River the regions are climatically and environmentally very similar. Yeah, they'd have to de-salt their water, but it would be a hell of a lot cheaper all that security they have to pay for now. We could maybe even get Saudi to pay some of the costs for purchasing land and relocation. We'd have to move every synagoge and grave, but it could be done. Don't say it can't: they moved the London Bridge to Arizona, by God they can move the Wailing Wall to Mexico. Outside of a few big cities, the whole thing is practically deserted. Mexico would appreciate in massive influx of industry and developement. Think about it.]
I can just see the Li'l Muslims and their pet hippies from USF showing up outside the courthouse already, calling the Israeli victims of Al Aryan's hatecult "settlers", "occupiers", "colonizers" "Zionist Invaders", etc. etc. And I'm going to be there too, if I can get a day off from work. I'll be the one holding signs with handles made from 5/8" re-bar, just in case.
