A Day Late And A Dollar Short

This is what he says now. Of course, you can say anything to deceive the unbelievers. "War is deceit," said the Prophet Muhammad. "Anti-bin Laden fatwa backed," from News 24, with thanks to EPG:

Madrid - An alleged al-Qaeda member said on Tuesday that he endorsed a fatwa issued by Spanish Muslims against Osama bin Laden, condemning terrorism as he took the stand as a suspected member of a cell that allegedly helped plot the September 11 attacks.

Separately, the three-judge panel overseeing the trial rejected a defence request to release on bail a jailed suspect who filmed video of the World Trade Centre in 1997 and allegedly passed on a copy of the tape to al-Qaeda operatives.

Lawyers for Ghasoub al-Abrash Ghalyoun had argued the video was the innocent work of a tourist and that excerpts played in court when their client testified on April 27 failed to reveal anything
incriminating...

Sure. He was just a tourist. It's just coincidence that his group took down the same towers -- and had tried to do so four years before he filmed them.

May I remind you that there are lots of innocent muslim tourists in the US. They take pictures and videos of gov offices and historical landmarks, because they want someting to remind them of the glories of democratic freedom. They take pictures of bridges and dams and such because they are interested in American engineering...We should not suspect a muslim with a camera, only a "few" of them are actually "terrorists". or...maybe only a "few" of the them are actually "tourists"...
An interesting question...how many muslims from foreign lands come to America as tourists...just to visit, Niagra falls, the Grand Canyon, or Yellowstone? Dont know the answer to that but I bet it's not many...

I can bet that more wine and dine at the whitehouse

duh_swami,
You are correct when stating that innocence before proven guilty in a court of law is the cornerstone of Western jurisprudence. It is apparently obvious to me as well as RS that there was much more to this scoundrel than meets the eye. The FBI and/or DHS clearly had due reason to pick this guy up than a bunch of silly home videos. There is much, much more here than what we are reading here, bet on it.
