AMSTERDAM - Amsterdam thinks it can repel extremism by stimulating books and websites propagating a moderate vision of Islam. The initiative has been added to the action plan 'We Amsterdammers', which the council drew up after the murder of Islam critic Theo van Gogh by a radical Muslim.Amsterdam intends to stimulate the translation and publication in Dutch of Islamic works with a moderate signature. It will also facilitate websites that "bring a clear alternative message to counterbalance websites that propagate intolerance in the city". The council also plans to invite prominent influencers of opinion to put forward moderate views at symposia and during debates...
"Banning books such as 'De weg van de Moslim' (The Way of the Muslim) contravenes the freedom to express opinions, and would in addition be counterproductive," the city council believes. The Way of the Muslim advises throwing homosexuals head first from a tall building.
The false notions of tolerance and acceptance, especially when projected onto a devious and eternal foe like the Moslem religion and its history of spreading by any means necessary, is the most fatal mistake the West has made.
This has lead Europe down the path to dhimmitude and the enslavement of future generations.
Those bureaucrats responsible were greedy, pragmatic and foolish in assuming the many legions of Moslem colonists would become westernized. When it became apparent in recent times that just the opposite has occurred, they refuse to consider mass deportations of undesirables and immigration reforms. They incredibly wish to continue business as usual and continue the flawed liberal thinking which handed over the European continent to the Moslem in the first place.
Europe became Eurabia thanks to this insanity and it will continue to become more a satellite state of Mecca unless there is a civil war or the arrogant politicians meet the fate of some other European tyrants throughout history.
Of course the United States might send "NATO" planes to bomb the Western Dhimmi Europeans who resort to war to repel the Moslem invaders as it did under Clinton in the Balkans even as America itself treads like a blind man through a minefield from the fear and growing political might of the Moslem menace here at home.
We are living in interesting times.

Any day now we are going to see origami cranes dropping onto the streets of Amsterdam. It may prove to be good practice for her citizens to dodge them, as someday, and sooner than they think, it will be raining jihadi hot steel.
Wait till I write on my Dutch weblog that Muslims need to be thrown down buildings head first. No council will defend me, there will be no talk of freedom of expression and no one will bother to argue whether closing down the site is counterproductive or not.

Interesting how many people just can't change their understanding of the world and see the danger they're in. Highly intelligent Libertarians, Liberals, Lawyers, Sean Penn...They'll stand around as the atomic weapons detonate and say "ah yes but at least no one's civil rights were violated" - and as western civilization crumbles "ah yes but we must afford them the same rights we afford ourselves, otherwise we violate ourselves and our way of life."
