Baptist leader beheaded in Bangladesh

JALALPUR, Bangladesh - A Baptist lay pastor has been beheaded in Bangladesh, the second Christian leader to lose his life in that country in a year, according to a Christian news organization.

Dulal Sarkar, 35, was attacked as he returned home from discussing his faith with local villagers, reported Compass Direct, which tracks incidents of Christian persecution. One source later identified the assailants as a group of 10 local Muslim extremists. After reporting the incident, Sarkur's wife, mother and five children have been forced to move from place to place in fear for their lives.

According to local Christians, three arrests have been made, but the remaining seven alleged attackers, who reportedly have ties to the Jamaat-e-Islami political party, are still at large. They fear the political influence of Jamaat-e-Islami may prevent the case from going to court, Compass Direct reported.

Meanwhile, Sarkur's widow has asked a Christian orphanage to take three of their five children because she cannot afford to support them.

The incident is the second beheading in a year, the news service said. Abdul Gani, a prominent Christian and physician, reportedly was decapitated by a gang in the district of Jamalpur as he returned home from work in September 2004. Gani was a counsel member of the Bangladesh Baptist Fellowship.

In 2003 another Christian leader was murdered by a group of eight men who attacked him in his home. Christian evangelist Hridoy Roy was stabbed repeatedly after being tied "crucifixion style" to his bed. Roy was known for showing the Jesus film and others about the life of Christ. Muslim neighbors reportedly had warned him to stop...

this story to be found nowhere in US MSM ....

In this 21st century the monster under humanities bed in the f*cking bloodthirsty, bloodsucking Muslim...

Excuse me while I go mow my lawn in my burkah -- after that I will play a round of golf or maybe roller skate with a hot dog -- halal of course!

That's okay. There are better more open countries for the human rights groups to b*tch about.

Oh, but the military put panties on prisoners' heads and made them make naked pyramids! Oh, the horror. Yet a Christian pastor being beheaded gets no mention on the news.

And Americans have the "gulag" of the 21st century! Where is the outcry from Amnesty International about this. They are more concerened about a group of men that will no sooner kill you as look at you, than for the increasing attacks on Christians and other religions in Islamic countries. I haven't heard too much from Amnesty International about that poor man who converted to Christianity from Islam in Eygpt and now is being held in an mental hospital until he recants his conversion.

Oh, but this is not Islamic!, they'll protest.
These aren't Muslims!, they'll insist.
Nowhere in the Quran does it say you can behead people, they'll claim.

Bangladesh, eh? Just the other day, some Bangladeshi mouthpiece of Amnesty International, an Irene Khan, stated 'Australia below-par on human rights'. Apparently we're encouraging terrorism and fuelling world instability. They don't like our mandatory detention policy (no, we should just throw open the doors like Europe), or our relationship with the US (we should be more like Fwance). Meantime, back in Irene Khan's home country they're beheading people, toddlers are being charged with adultery and women are treated worse than animals.

Can you believe the cheek? And these groups, like AI and UN, wonder why they're viewed with increasing contempt and derision.

I guess Condoleeza Rice will apologize to the Muslim world that the pastor put up a struggle.

There should be a special feature on the news every day of these shining examples of 'Islamic Tolerance'.

Maybe entitled: "The Religion of Peace Report"?

Until that happens, the press in the West is becoming the religion of appeasement.

It's race between the shameless and the spineless.
