In "Confessions of a Former Islamist," ex-Muslim Ahmed Awny Shalakamy at FrontPage (thanks to Judy) details how he and his cohorts connived to convert Christians to Islam by any means possible.
My father hated Christians. He taught me that they are infidels who contradict themselves by saying that Jesus Christ is God while their distorted book has verses that prove he is a prophet. It was all part of the rhetoric we got used to hearing from booming mosque loudspeakers, and from the playing of radio and audio cassettes in the streets. In such an atmosphere, a Muslim child in Egypt is breast-fed hatred along with his mother's milk.
What? He wasn't taught that Islam reveres Jesus and respects Christians?
Read it all.
Why are all the diabolical schemes and tricks that are used to coerce "reversion" to Islam necessary if Islam is so great?
Well, Robert, apparently he had a very big change of heart, for "after I became a Christian" appears in a number of places in his article.
By the way, Shalakamy is not the only ex-Islamicist who became a Christian. I'm starting to wonder if the current Islamofascist violence isn't some mysterious divine providence whereby (a) an apostate West is punished and (b), a civilization, like a human body, is comvulsed in order to vomit out a poison in its belly.
