Doctors in a Cairo mental hospital are holding an Egyptian Christian against his will, telling the man he'll be a permanent resident there until he recants his faith and returns to Islam, reports a leading monitor of Christian persecution.Reminiscent of the tactics of Communists in the USSR who put dissidents in mental hospitals, the forced stay, according to Voice of the Martyrs, has been in effect since January. At that time, the adoptive parents of Gaser Mohammed Mahmoud, 30, committed him to the El-Khanka Hospital after learning he had converted from Islam to Christianity two years earlier.
Reports Voice of the Martyrs:
"The hospital medical committee placed Mahmoud under the care of a female physician identified only as Dr. Nevine, whom sources describe as a 'fanatic Muslim.' Since his forced confinement, Mahmoud has reportedly endured beatings, whippings and potentially fatal injections."
What else can you say to this story but incredible!

This does not surprise me. Egypt is notorious for using official organs, the police, courts, etc. to enforce a de facto Islamic state. If you read Egyptian law it sounds secular, but the reality is something else. No ban on female judges, for example, but no female judges to be found.

Whenever I see "Egypt" I always think of female genital mutilation which is pandemic. Thus I am not suprised by any other barbarity which comes out of the country. Next we will be reading about the lobotimisation of these Islamic apostates.

What I find crazy is that there are mental hospitals in Egypt.
On what are they based?
Can't be Freud, he was a an apostate Jew.
Can't be Jung, he was a mystical post-Christian.
What 'Psychology' do they subscribe to?
I didn't think there was a 'conscious mind' in Islam, only a submissive creature with a mental apparatus designed for parroting the Koranic ideas of Allah (via Gibreel via Mohammad).
What 'mental problem' could there be in Islam except apostacy? The rest would merely be 'poor Muslim performance' (sinfulness) in need for repentence, prayer and further "submission".
Any secularly-based (or Judeo-Christian) Psychology would be haram.
Clearly: insight into the 'unconscious', 'sub-conscious', 'pre-conscious' and 'supra-conscious' mind (or the 'collective unconscious') cannot be acceptible to Islamic scholars.
It is all djinns or Shaitan or Allah.
Otherwise the desire for martyrdom to attain 72 virgins would be considered a mixture of repression, displacement, a fugue state, sexual dysfunction, polymorphous perversity, anal sadism, and a host of other DSM disorders.
Somebody is nuts, but I don't think it's the prisoner.
Has the U.N. protested this?

Amazingly the Archbishop of Canterbury , the head of the Church of England, spent the third annniversary of 9/11 at Al-Azhar University, a hotbed for Islamic militancy, praising Islam.
Egypt is a country where Christians are not allowed to repair their churches.
That the Archbishop should have done such a thing is absurd to the point of surreal.

-Article 9, establishing the right to liberty and security of person, as well as the right to contest your detention in court
-Article 15, prohibiting detention that does not involve a criminal offense
-Article 18, establishing the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion and guaranteeing the right to adopt the religion of one's own choice

My God, this sounds like a Ray Bradberry script or an sci-fi movie where aliens hook humans up to re-programming machines. It's nice to know that Christianity is insanity and Islam is a paragon of sanity. Looks like these primitive savages will stop at nothing to revert a convert. IF they fail, they'll kill the poor man. Islam is like a horror show that runs continuously.
I guess this female physician went into psychiatry since she couldn't be an imam, and now she rewashes brains that survived the first indoctrination. It would be incredibly fascinating to know how Islam is conflated with psychiatry to train mind menders for muslims.
