So, a cursory glance at the wealth of documentation regarding Islamic terror organizations shows that Hamas and al-Qaida are linked financially, ideologically and operationally. This, at the same time as the know-it-alls from Washington to London to Riyadh insist that the Palestinian terror war against Israel has no connection to the global jihad being launched by the likes of "real" terrorists, such as Osama bin Laden and (Palestinian) Abu Musab Zarkawi...

It is indeed a strange form of denial (the linkages between the various jihaddist movements, both ideologically and financially). Time was when American politicians and civil servants had no difficulty seeing the close connections between the various communist movements around the world and what their purpose was in maintaining these close connections in aid of global domination.

This article makes some absurd allegations based on pretty unreliable evidence. For example:
Why no quote? Who is this official? How senior is he? The sentence raises more questions than it answers.
Also in the article are plenty of misleading facts:

Actually Israel was #5 on UBL's list. LOL. First was the US troops on Saudi soil.
Brutal military occupation? I can't think of a less brutal miltary occupation in history, especially considering the unwillingness of the Pals to negotiate a just Peace and their unceasing use of terrorism.
The Pals were under military occupation from 1948 to 1967. And not by Israel, but by other Arab powers.
And they never offered the Pals autonomy much less a state of any kind.

Military occupation is what happens when you fight, lose and refuse to make a peace treaty. Germany and Japan figured out how to end their military occupation.

This is sooooooo not surprising.
Crusher asks why the Palestinians have to turn to the Israelis to give them a state.
Possibly because it's the only fully functional civil society in the region, and their Arab neighbours not only know it, they resent it bitterly.

The issue here is the Israeli military Occupation and Israel's continued ethnic cleansing policies in the Occupied Territories.
Military Occupation is when the invaders are unable to consolidate control due to brave patriots who defend their land.
