Grecula Plots Included Super Bowl Bombing

An update on this story from WCHS TV, "Suspect in bomb sale also allegedly plotted bombing during Super Bowl"

HOUSTON - A Pennsylvania man who was arrested last week for allegedly trying to sell a bomb to al-Qaida is now accused of a more sinister plot.

An FBI agent has testified that the suspect was ready to make and unleash a radioactive bomb at the Super Bowl. Ronald Grecula is also accused of suggesting that attackers use remote-controlled model airplanes, filled with explosives, to blow up bridges in the Northeast. He also allegedly discussed bombings at targets in New York and Washington, DC.

Grecula was arrested in Houston last week. He was caught in a sting operation, in which federal agents and local police were pretending to be part of the Russian mafia with ties to al-Qaida...

Since the destruction of the Twin Towers hasn't moved enough Americans to demand some answers from Islam [specifically the Koran] what will it take?

It preaches beheadings of non-Muslims} 047.004

It preaches crucifixions and the cutting off of hands and feet} 005.033

It preaches treason in non-Muslim lands} 008.067

It preaches war against all non-Muslims} 008.039 033.061 009.029 004.095 002.216 009.039 009.123

Those are the writings in the Koran that the Muslim leaders refuse to address [because they are damning]

How many bloody attacks will it take for an over-whelming united voice to stand up and say - ENOUGH!!! ???

We'll know that the nation is taking this kind of activity seriously when people such as Mr. Grecula are tried for treason and, if found guilty, expeditiously hanged.

The two last paragraphs read:

Grecula was arrested in Houston last week. He was caught in a string operation, in which federal agents and local police were pretending to be part of the Russian mafia with ties to al-Qaida.

The suspect was in court yesterday. His public defender tried unsuccessfully to get the charges dropped, saying his client only "did a lot of grandiose talking."

At least the case wasn't dismissed.

Beth, as you have seen over at Conyer's blog the uninformed still believe that Christianity is as big a problem as islam. These people are thick between the ears and I don't know if anything will convince them.

Carolyn~ I think one of them came over here, check the threads on DW. At the very least he would be good company for giaour (no offense, giaour).

And people thought 'Black Sunday' was such a bogus concept...

Is there a colour to describe an islamic friday

RE: Conyers Blog.
Carolyn, your description is apt.
The folks there would skip over little items like stonings and beheadings, while carrying on about tolerance and love, and their degree of moral superiority over us crass realists. It makes me long to have them watch the Saddam videos, with hand hackings, beheadings, and so forth.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for tolerance, but it does require a certain quality, like, say SANITY.
It seems like the Iraqis are more realistic about these matters. There is an article by Hammurabi where some terrorists got caught in the act and strung up by irate civilians. Two down, how many more to go?
