Islam Growing in Central Iowa

Again, da'wa that references 9/11. Of course, everyone here knows what that means. Since, Allah plans everything, and has preordained that Islam shall dominate the globe, 9/11 was a triumph, something that had to happen. One more event in the never ending struggle for the faith, da'wa-jihad-da'wa-jihad-and more da'wa, turing the heads of Infidels, getting their attention, leading them to the true path, and, if Allah happens to send a few thousand to hell along the way, so be it. That's the way the Infidels crumble.

The local Muslims Student Association in Ames a little north of Des Moines had an 'understanding Islam day' just a while back. It seems da'wa is on full force in the heartland. And Iowans appear to have absolutely no clue what is hitting them. Perhaps an apostate at Iowa State should speak out about the true nature of Islam: Suras 4, 8 and 9, you know, characterizations and rules for women, Infidels, Muhammad's biography, Aisha, collective psychology, irrational divine command mentality, the brutality of Islamic history, and, of course, death to apostates, just as a start.

But will the apostate come forward? Maybe not, who wants to put their head on the chopping block. But, forget about that. Its a religion and peace. Hey, farmers, students, good people of Des Moines, aren't you curious about this new religion? Man, how interesting? Huh?

I've seen so many articles like this since 9/11 and they are all highly suspect, PR blather. Muslims are notorious for inflating their conversion figures and their numbers in general in order to achieve political power. This article was probably written from a press release.

Whenever I see one of these articles I send a polite note to the author and ask him/her why they are not interested in doing articles about Muslim converts to Christianity or apostates in the US, and point them to conversion stories on Answering Islam, ISIS, etc. I suggest everyone else here do the same.

I agree completely. Stories like this one are part of the ongoing muslim propaanda campaign designed to mislead. Islam is NOT the fastest growing religion in American, the Pope did NOT apologize for the crusades.

Suzan is quite correct in her request that we all act. We need to contact the authors of these articles to make sure they do not rely on CAIR for their "facts" and we need to know why there is no interest in portraying other religions in America in such a positive light.

While we're at it, let's implore these authors to delve more deeply into the intertwining political parts of islam.

The Muslim Student Association event in Ames a while back, this propaganda piece, and the CAIR piece, together, over a short span of time, concerning Islam in a relatively isolated place like central Iowa, are highly suspicious.

Is there some CAIR, MSA plan for aggressive da'wa and political manuevering in Iowa? Senator Harkin has spoken against Daniel Pipes on the Senate floor, by the way, and praised the 'peaceful' nature of Islam.

Iowa is the home of the oldest mosque in the US (in Cedar Rapids.) (I mean, except for all those "Native American" mosques that existed before the evil white people came to the US and made the Native Americans "forget" that they were actually Muslims all along.)

Here's a suggestion: Whenever we mention The Muslim Student Association we add, "the student arm of the Muslim Brotherhood."

Labeling cities and towns in America as "Christian" implies that Muslims intend to create Muslim towns...and you know the long-term consequences of that!!!

I personally know 5 muslims who have converted to Christianity in the last year. This must be taken in the context that ex-muslims are very shy in letting anyone know of their leaving islam.

I believe the figure of muslims converting to Christianity or just leaving islam for good, is very high.

The growth is really a factor of the very high birthrate of muslims, coupled with access to modern Western medicine. All this bombast of islam being the fastest growing religion is really just that - a bombast.

Does anyone want to do something about Islamic taqiyya lies instead of just talking about it?

China is the big hope for Christianity. The Chinese government is still openly hostile to religious organizations but Christianity is gaining a foothold amongst the middle and “influential” classes. Naturally, Islam is causing trouble there too (is it ever peaceful?) but the Islamic regions are getting the Tibetan treatment. A strong China may even reach out to protect the ethnic Chinese populations in other parts of South East Asia. Muslims in the region will probably then react with Jihad and more Jihad.

The prospects for Christianity in India would be brighter if the Hindu nationalists didn’t hate Christians as much as they hate Muslims.

It is doubtful that more than 1/6 or even 1/7 of the world's population is Muslim -- and even this figure is arrived at by counting as "Muslim" the entire population of so-called Muslim countries minus, of course, the identifiable non-Muslims. But there are people born into Islam who may not really adhere to it, as in Iran today, yet who are counted as Muslims. Having again and again added up the figures, and been generous in estimates of Muslims in the Bilad al-kufr, I cannot find evidence of more than 1 billion Muslims -- not these figures of 1.2, 1.4, even 1.5 that one finds so easily bandied about.

If someone has done the math differently, and can list, country by the country, the numbers they think show that Muslims could conceivably be more than 14-15% of the world's population (leaving 85%-86% non-Muslim) one would like to see it. Islam is growing rapidly everywhere in the U.S., Europe, Canada and Australia due to permissive immigration policies.

Consider this on the scene report from a health care professional living in Columbus, Ohio. I will call him William Edwards.
For the last three months, Edwards has kept me posted about the 30,000 Somalis in his community. The Somali Bantu resettlement program has been one of the most controversial since the enactment of the 1980 Refugee Act.
You will not read any of what Edwards has to say in the Columbus Dispatch—that’s for sure.
Edwards explains the lack of MSM negative comment about the Somalis this way:
"It is as though a flying saucer landed in your back yard but no one wanted to report on it for fear of being accused of hallucinating on drugs.
"This is a subject that is taboo. Some of the nurses have risked their jobs by talking about the Somali. The city announced that 30,000 more would be relocate in Columbus and vicinity but is tight lipped on talking about specific plans.
The Somalis speak their own language and the translators are all Somali so their loyalties are to their families. You have to rethink your basic ideas about medicine to understand their motives. They see western medicine as an adjunct to their own medicine. They are extremely private and will not talk about their own remedies. One Somali family was given a nice home in a middle class suburb. The family now has 40 people living in the house with attendant cars parking all over the place.
The nurse who related the story explained that they have tried to sell her home but instead of the $300,000 they had hoped for, they are now relegated to living in the home since they are unable to sell the house at all. Their retirement hopes have been devastated.
The Somalis elicit fear in the people who are forced to deal with them. No one wants to confront this for fear of being branded a racist. No one talks to the Somalis, they are a closed society with their own language.
The media has its own take on the Somalis. The families don't speak English but talk through an interpreter, so no one can judge whether the families are telling the truth when they declare some in Columbus as racist.
It is just unbelievable to people in Columbus that our government can perpetrate such fraud on our city. I suspect the people in California are smiling that others are finding out what they have had to accommodate to.

The constant danger is that, despite what is going on in Columbus and other small American cities, Congress will continue to press for more legal immigration, especially via refugee resettlement.

I first read about the resettlement of Somali muslim "bantus" in "The Great Somali Welfare Hunt" at http://www.amconmag.com/2002_11_18/cover4.html.

Now, it appears that Ohio has become a muslim Somali "resettlement zone".

I submit that the alleged "peaceful" muslim refugees of today bring the increased likelihood of domestic terrorism and anti-American attacks. Can anyone predict when "peaceful muslim" immigrants become "religious fundamentalists" and enemies of the U.S. and non-muslim citizens? When, as in Europe, will the children of "peaceful moderate muslims" become radicalised islamists? This is a ticking time bomb. It is not unreasonable to ask when the U.S. will experience another 9/11 or an "American Beslan".

I believe that it would be very worthwhile to focus increased attention on the Somali muslim resettlement in Ohio. The danger, irony and hypocrisy of this situation is overwhelming… (Already, one Somali muslim was arrested and charged with plotting to bomb a Columbus, Ohio shopping mall..)

Bad population growth estimates aside (a common feature of Islamists), I'm not sure that we have the common variety of trolls here. The language is so over the top, from such an unlikely quarter (a good old boy from one of the southeastern mountain states as I recall) that our Tameem may be something other than he claims to be.
