Islamic group claims responsibility for NY blasts outside British consulate blasts; authorities are dismissive

"A Statement from Jund al-Sham Claiming Responsibility for the Explosions in New York," from the SITE Institute, :

Today, May 5, 2005, Jund al-Sham (Soldiers of Levant) claimed responsibility for the small explosions outside of the British consulate in New York City, claiming that the attack was "the beginning of war inside and outside of America." No one was hurt in the blast.

Since late March, Jund al-Sham has claimed responsibility for random attacks across the globe, including in Qatarand Lebanon. In addition, the group claimed responsibility for an explosion at a Texasoil refinery.

The group argues that the United States overlooked the Texas refinery explosion, and that more attacks will ensue. "We will not hesitate," the communiqué states, "to hit the parties and coffee shops, the hotels and the churches, with the help of Allah."

I guess they missed those parts of the Qur'an that we keep hearing so much about -- the ones that forbid killing innocents. Islamic apologists love to quote Qur'an 5:32 on this, but as I explain in my forthcoming book The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and the Crusades (Regnery), this is not presented in the Qur'an or understood in Islamic theology as a general principle.

Anyway, authorities reject their claims. From "Blast of fear" in the New York Daily News:

"We at this point have absolutely no knowledge of what the motive was," Mayor Bloomberg said across the street from the predawn blast scene.

An Islamic extremist group claimed credit for the explosion. But law enforcement officials were extremely skeptical of the group, whose past claims of responsibility for other incidents have been unconfirmed.

I'm glad to hear that, but it would be easier for me to believe if authorities had not ruled out terrorism in the Texas City, for which this group also claimed credit, before even visiting the site. And if such denials were not part of a consistent pattern of error.

A whole lot of denial goin' on!!

A quip on Fox and Friends neutralizes this claim. According to an interview, the Islamic website claims "things that have been proven not to be attributable to them," such as the Texas Refinery. "Not very reliable." The impression given is that neither blast was "terror-related" and that the Islamic website claiming responsibility can not be believed. Who is being deceptive here????

Covert organizations often cannot be definitively and rapidly proven to have committed a particular act. Should that be a surprise? It's often later, sometimes MUCH LATER, that the connections are established.

Major Bloomberg is a Jew. Soros is a Jew too.

Am I missing something here? Are they "reverts"- I am beginning to be ashamed of my fellow men...

Terminator:

I cannot speak as to Bloomberg, but Soros, while fabulously successful at business, seems to suffer an awful lot of intellectual disconnects.

This story reminds me of a riddle my father used to ask. You have landed on an island and on one half of the island, the people are always truthful; on the other half, the people are always untruthful. What one question can you ask to determine which half of the island you are located on. But, damned if I can remember what the answer was.

We were taught a similar riddle at school and given 48 hours to work it out.

The riddle was:

You reach a fork at on the road. One of the paths will lead to wonderful country pub with 24 different ales on tap. Suzie, the girl at the bar has a welcoming smile and fantastically large chest. The other path will lead you to a scrap yard, a home to hill billies, a vicious dog named Moe and a housekeeper called Leather Face.

Clearly, 24 types of ale served Suzie by is a far more attractive proposition than being part of Moe's dining experience. There is a person standing at each roadside. One will always tell the truth and the other will always lie. You can only ask one question. How can you frame the question?

Of course the class swot figured this out while we were still groping in the fetid recesses of our schoolboy intellect as the words, Moe, dinner, Suzie, chest, beer danced around our disconnected neurones.

The correct answer:

What would the other guy say if I asked him the direction to the pub?

Then you choose the road other than the one given in his reply.

You people make me laugh, you are so paranoid. You are obsessed with this ‘major Islamic threat’ that is enforcing Islam on America, You are losing it. You are all bonkers.

A bottle was found smashed in the US, an unknown Islamic Group calling itself the Liberators of Jerusalem has claimed responsibility.

A hedgehog was run over, evidence suggests that the newly formed Islamic Army of Uruguay was responsible.

HA HA HA HA

You people are so brainwashed its funny.

Any excuse to justify your irrational fear of Islam, any excuse.

ia~ as you have already proven incapable of answering Any question anyone puts to you, here or elsewhere, making things up doesn't really help your case.

Just in for a bite and back out the door, have at 'em, guys!

If it´s true the Texas´explosion and US don´t recongnize it, we can call US like a dhirmi state.

ia786- May Jesus Christ guide your footsteps toward Truth. You already know the truth; it is written on your heart; you may even be having dreams about Jesus like many other Muslims have. God bless you on your journey.

I do believe Terminator brought up a very good point - which ia786 - you seemed to have missed.

The true paranoid ones are not able to bring themselves face the Truth about the Koran. That includes most [if not all] leaders of this world.

And it doesn't have be as complicated as the analogy used here in this thread.

We could keep it quite simple - and just point to the words of your allah.

irrational fear of islam, oh thats a good one. Thanks for the laugh.

I geuss all those people killed today in Iraq and elsewhere by islamic terrorists have an irrational fear of islam to.

Face it islam as religion cannot go one single day without suicide bombing or beheading someone.

But just keep repeating the mantra islam is a religion of peace , that is until someone questions it and you go balistic and start frothing at the mouth spouting american and zionist conspiracies.

Irrational fear of Islam? Let me explain...
It's irrational to have irrational fear of Islam. I dont see many irrational Non-muslims here. Whats irrational is to keep rationalizing the un-rationalable. Some things just cant be subject to rationalization. Islam is one of them...completely irrational...only those who can think backwards can hope to rationalize it. Rationalizing Islam is irrational...only a specialist in rationalization can hope to rationalize any of it...I hope that cleared it up....

I heard on FNC this morning that the blast was not so small. A piece of the grenade was on the 9th floor in the building across the street.

Iiiiiiaaaaaa - I'm about to pwn you again. Again! Man.

"You people make me laugh, you are so paranoid."

Oooh! Do tell!

"You are obsessed with this ‘major Islamic threat’ that is enforcing Islam on America"

Uh-oh. Ia makey mistakey.

See, the thread's about a blast at the British consulate, not islamists trying to spread their nonsense.

Yet, you instantly leap to the defence of the "enforcing of islam on America".

Why do you make this connection here, save that it already exists in your own mind?

"A bottle was found smashed in the US, an unknown Islamic Group calling itself the Liberators of Jerusalem has claimed responsibility."

Yes, that's just like a set of bombs going off outside the British embassy. That must happen just all the time in London, eh Ia? Funny. I don't remember ever hearing about islamicist bombs when I lived there. Must be a new thing.

Ia, I laugh at you ever time I see your nick pop up. Anything to blame Westerners for the crimes of islam, anything to justify the violence of islam to others. Talk about mental disease...

Imam Geoff
Lion of Man

People saying islam is a religion of peace is like me telling others i can fly, the first thing people would ask me is to prove it, and there in lies the problem, no muslim can prove islam is a religion of peace.

When i see a million muslim march against terrorism in all forms maybe then ill believe it.

On the other hand, ia666, when it comes to fantasies and paranoia, how about the PA claiming that the Israelis are using a death ray machine at the cross-points because some middle-aged woman happened to suffer a heart attack. The equipment in question wasn't even an x-ray. It was holographic. Or how about the stories about Israeli ships sailing the oceans with Palestinian/Muslim/Arab children on board to use their organs for transplantation, or the Iranians claiming that the Israelis are stealing the "blue eyes" of Palestinian children.

When it comes to the ludicrously paranoid, nobody does it better than Muslims. After all, your religion was founded on the rationalizations of the paranoid acts of aggression perpetrated by Muhammed who claimed to have divine sanction for so doing.

Bombing people into submission - bombing paranoia into people. Killing people for dancing in parks, for listening to music, killing and cutting throats for making a movie... hatespeeches in mosques, dhimmitude of the MSM, etc etc.

We can't have that...

This is the time to start rounding them up and to put them in in detention camps. The mosques must be shut down and the hate preachers deported immediately.

I would opt for summary executions for all Islamic "clerics".

Mohammedans would call that : "Genocide"- funny how we have a different understanding of things...

Funny again Terminator, but as my 12th grade English teacher used to say, not funny ha ha, funny peculiar. Peculiar is what they are, living in a parallel universe, a different dimension, another plane. They don't think like we think, or see like we see.

Have you ever tried to wipe your mind clear and pretend you're a muslim? I have. That's the only way I can understand their twisted logic, their convoluted rationale, and their clever tricks with semantics to make malevolence appear benign. The art of deceit is an inherent trait in muslims; it comes so naturally to them that they think nothing of it. Tu quoque, kitman, and taquiya are inbred in muslims and fidelity is an alien concept.

Islamic clerics are the most dangerous people on earth. They are the instigators, the inciters, the ones who brazenly promulgate lies, propaganda, and the ridiculous conspiracy theories that muslims thrive on. They inculcate the hate, the lies, the "superiority" complex, the megalomania, and you're right, they should all be summarily executed for mass murder. Allah's spokesmen are demons from Hell. Muslims are begging for a little taste of the genocide they have been so nonchalantly committing for centuries. Maybe then they would reform their hellish cult. At least they might learn that what goes around comes around.
