Militants from the Islamic Jihad on Saturday killed a Palestinian youth suspected of collaborating with Israeli intelligence, the group said.The body of the 18-year-old youth, identified as Rami al-Malakh, was found outside his village near the West Bank town of Tul Karm.
Residents said Al-Makh had disappeared last night. He was shot to death.
In Tul Karm, the Islamic Jihad issued a leaflet claiming responsibility for the killing, saying they would release a video of the youth confessing to giving Israeli security forces information on the location of Islamic Jihad militants...
Given that most of the palestinian's basic amenities (power, water etc) are paid and provided for by Israeli infrastructre, that soooo many paleys get their employment thanks in part to israeli contact, given that cold economic logic dictates that most palestinians would obtain higher utility in living in a civilized state to a semi-civilized one, how better to keep these logical sentiments from ever achieving critical mass than by ruthlessly muzzing in every semi-dissenting voice as collaborater?! Howbetter to keep the entire population cowed down and in fear than in having the ability to execuute w/o justification and accountability by merely hurling labels of collaborator around?
Where are the mouths of the United Nations? who pride themselves as the humanitarians of the world? who love seats of honor and power - who reward themselves with a generous pay check
It was Palestinains who murdered that young man. [Not all Arabs living there are Palestinians]
If that had been America killing someone in the same manner who collaborated with any of the Islamic nations - the mouth of the U.N. would be biting the hand that feeds it.
So - where are their mouths now?
If we can only start rumors so that half of the "Palestinians" think that the other half are collaborators, it will slow down their external mayhem, at least.
Let them devour themselves for a century or so, and spare the rest of us their chaos and vendetta.

Israel provides life support to the Palestinians, through employment, water, electricity.
The solution is simple, cut off the life support, but that would mean that Israeli's would have to perform their own menial labor.
Are they up to it?
I like Big sleep's idea as well. Let them devour each other, problem is that Arab society is tribal and hardly anything slips under the wire in such a society without notice by other tribal members.
Which applies in Spades to Iraq,calling to mind the "resistance" and the claims of innocence in Fallujah, Ramadi, Sadr city, etc.

A work of good intent might also be:
if someone with the experience and the time would produce an article/booklet, as scholarly as possible, on the possible link between one specific form of written language - Arabic- and a pre-conscious block to societal development.
To wonder: if writing in the opposite direction from ease of expression (-left to right) doesn't inherently cause some deep-seated impediments for being open to Reform? (Comparing the effects of other, similar written tongues.) Neuro-linguistically?
Let the Muslims start thinking about themselves.
And not always fixated on their infidel enemies.

Hate to rain on your parade brother, but I know for a fact that Hebrew is also written right to left as well. The Jews have been doing quite well despite their writing in reverse (according to our standard)!
