So, yes Mackie - I hear it loud and clear.
Last night I attended the premier of a documentary film by a New Yorker, Marc Levin, entitled The Protocols of Zion -- which takes a look at the way the extreme right, the Islamists and elements on the extreme left have taken up a new "blood libel" -- that no Jews died in 9/11 and that it was also Jews/Israel who were responsible for it. Many of these elements also endorse the old, infamous czarist forgery, which was used to help fuel the pogroms of the late 19th century.
Unfortunately, the film was only so-so. It failed to connect a lot of dots, and consequently failed to posit any theories as to why people who are, allegedly on the opposite side of the political spectrum are united in these beliefs, and in their interest in the Protocols.
You'd think if their contentions were verifiable in fact, that would be sufficient, wouldn't it?
