Controversial mullah Krekar, former leader of Ansar al-Islam, will be expelled from Norway, on the instructions of Minister of Local Government and Regional Development Erna Solberg.Solberg instructed the Immigration Appeals Board (UNE) to uphold the decision to expel Krekar on the grounds of national security.
"This is something we have been waiting for for some time. For my client and me it is neither new nor surprising that the UNE has received instructions from the ministry," said Krekar's legal counsel, Brynjar Meling.
The ruling means that Krekar now loses his asylum status, travel documents, residency and employment permission. He can nonetheless not be sent back to Iraq at once due to the unstable conditions there.
"An agreement with the Iraqi authorities to return Krekar can not be reckoned as in agreement with the European Human Rights Convention before the new constitution is in place there," Solberg told a press conference on Thursday afternoon...

So when will he be deported? Norway sounds as lax as Canada when it comes to getting rid of terrorists and their supporters.

How about just parachuting him into an active volcano, and being realistic about the threat.
You don't want him anywhere else causing trouble.
If you aren't willing to do the hard work-imprisoning this extremist- then at least let nature do the job.

(Transplanting cancer to another part of your body is hardly a 'solution'... so this folly of 'deportation' has got to be rethought.)

Unstable conditions...he has his problems, Norway has its problems. Unstable conditions is HIS problem, not Norway's.
That's always the problem with deporting these grubs. They've always got the excuse that their homeland is unsafe for their return, according to our Western standards. We just have to realize that most Muslim countries are self-made hellholes, they'll never become like Switzerland or Japan, and we can't do anything about it. Send him back.
I have posted about this before, but it was at the end of a thread so I'm not sure if anybody noticed it.
We all know that during Ramadam Moslems fast, no food and water, between sunrise and sunset for a lunar month. The start is determined by the sighting of the new moon over Mecca. I once asked a Moslem if the period of fasting was counted from dawn to dusk also at the time it would be in Mecca to take account of the much longer or shorter days in a northern country like England.
The answer was no, it is the sunrise and sunset where you actually are. We all know that Ramadam moves round the solar year, following the lunar cycle. For the last couple of years in the northern hemisphere it has been in autumn when the days and nights are roughtly equal length, like they are nearer the equator. In June in England sunset is about 10pm and sunrise about 3.30 am. In winter there is not much fasting done at all.
In Norway, land of the midnight sun, there are some towns which have no night time at all for 2/3 months. Whether Mullah Krekar should be deported or not should depend on how many years it will be before Ramadam occurs during the summer. Then a pleasant camp, where the Grislamic residents can be encouraged to enjoy the full benefit of Ramadam during the White Nights, should be set up.......

If one is going to claim their religious beliefs as a pretext for first overrunning countries culturally, followed by legally, then one must follow all the precepts of their beliefs. Maybe there's a message that certain parts of the globe are not for islam, like our polar arctic circles? After all, how can one do any decent jihadin' under white-out blizzard conditions that last for days, and with no food intake to boot?
Granny is right on the money. Lets drop them off north of the arctic circle in the summer, and in at the start of ramadan and we will see who is the most islamic of them all.
