Even as Pakistan gets pat on the back from the Bush administration for capturing Abu Farraj Al Libbi, clerics in Pakistan's NWFP are praying for the well being of terror mastermind Osama bin Laden.An Afghan cleric who has been living as a refugee in the provincial capital at Peshwar and delivering sermons at mosques led a prayer meeting for the success of bin Laden and the Taliban against the US led coalition forces in Afghanistan.
He asked worshippers to 'pray for the success of Osama and the Taliban', and wished for bin Laden's sons to complete their father's mission, reports the Daily Times. He also criticised Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf for helping the US topple the Taliban government in Afghanistan in late 2001.
Anti US feelings remain high in Pakistan's NWFP following the US led military offensives in Afghanistan. Musharraf and the US are mentioned in Friday summons in several mosques across NWFP...

Rather than praying for "Peace on earth, goodwill toward men," this cleric and others prays for the success of a man that advocates violence and evil, demonstrating the difference of intent between Christianity and Islam.
Terminator OBL might indeed be in Iran, after all the Taliban was created (by Saudi money, duping the CIA) as a synthesis of Wahhabiyyah and Shi'ah, not theologically but politically. Taliban destroyed pagan idols, forbade music and art, but did not call the Iranians and Shi'ite mushrik (polytheists).
Taliban does not mean student either, Talib does, but Taliban means "followers of the student", and the student was Ali ibn Abu Talib, the lst Shi'ite Imam (and Saint), fourth Sunni Caliph.
His name is circular and self referential, it translates as Ali son of the Father of the Student, and the student of course was Ali, the cousin of Ubul Qassim and his first student.
Muslims even admit that as they named his father Abu Talib (meaning father of the STudent).
So it is higly likely that OBL is being given sanctuary in Iran, but more likely that the Northwest 1/4th of Pakistan, the Peshawar region, home of the radical Taliban MMA is his sanctuary.

They've been shown Discovery Times Channel and will be shown again. Provides evidence that Northern Pakistan is a haven for Jihadis, (as is any part of Rural Pakistan). Osama could walk around and shop on the souks, his picture and that of the Ayatollah Khomeini hang in almost every home and shop, and the job of religious police (the mutawain) is done by uniformed cops paid for by the Government.
