Palestinians used Bible toilet paper

Too bad nobody warned the good Archbishop of what is likely to happen when you cozy-up to scum. There's nothing new about Muslims desecrating the holy sites of other faiths. That has been their stock in trade since the inception of Islam. But Middle Eastern Christians seem to hate Jews even more than they hate Muslims notwithstanding the tolerance and respect Israel has shown toward the holy sites and practice of all faiths within its borders.

Angry Orthodox priests showed reporters empty bottles of whiskey, champagne, vodka, cognac and French wine on the floor along with hundreds of cigarette butts.

Isn't all of this forbidden by Islam?

Where were the riots then? How many Mohammedans were attacked and killed over this? Where are the hit-squads who would go after them and 'slay them wherever they are?'

As I remember all the ladies toilets in the Arab quarter of Jerusalem, while acceptably clean, had a tap and jugs for the water instead of toilet paper. They were also low level, which must be quite difficult for old ladies, or anybody with a bad back?
Does the Koran not give details about use of stones and bones etc rather than paper. When I was a child squares of the Daily Mirror hanging from a string tied to a nail were a common sight in the outside inconveniences down the garden. Perhaps squares of the Palestinian Times are too rough and harsh for their peachlike bottoms?

The real story here is the irresponsible press that reports and makes federal cases out of each and every real OR alleged incident against Muslims and Islam while ignoring verifiable reports of outrages by Muslims.

You journalists out there take notice: you are responsible for sullying our nation's reputation and for pandering to the basest and darkest side of human nature. You show bias, intolerance, and racism by what you report and what you don't report.

Newsweek is complicit in the deaths of several; CNN was complicit in deaths of thousands for not reporting what it knew about Saddam Hussein. Other news outlets could be cited for the same behaviors.

But, only what happens to "the little brown people" matters. /extreme sarcasm

After centuries of persecution by muslims, the Christian dhimmis in Bethlehem and parts near, still do not get it. As a matter of fact, many Jews in Israel, the very first dhimmis of the world, still not get it. There is only one way to deal with islam, and it is not appeasement.

Has anyone pointed out to Afghans that Afghanistan was a Buddhist country. Where have all the stupas gone? Desecrated and destroyed by muslims, one and all.

Then some 30,000 Hindu temples in India were destroyed by invading muslims. As for those that were desecrated - who knows.

Muslims get all worked up about a book that is the most vile bit of trash that I have found between covers, and yet think nothing of destroying churches, temples and synagogues of others. Oh, I know, desecrating and destroying other faiths is a mandate of the koran, so according to their own light, muslims are in accordance with it.

you print a retraction.

The usual reaction to an 'offense' is:

the insulted person either slings one back, -or just thinks of the insulter as a lowlife.

But:

For idiots to kill over the idea of a book getting damaged, especially when their jihadi forefathers have burned scores of infidel libraries -from 622 A.D. onward- is a bit disingenuous.

Newsweek deserve mockery and lower sales.

But Islam deserves contempt and NO SALE.

Its rather pointless to try to find common ground with most Muslims, because our cultures are at different levels.

If you are familiar with Lawrence Kohlberg's Theory of Moral Development, its very tempting to place most Muslim countries on level 2/3(Punishment and Obedience and Interpersonal Conformity).

Western culture is on Level 5/6 (Rights and Social Contract and Universal Ethical Principles).

It is nearly impossible for people at one stage to understand other people who are more than one stage in advance of them. Moral development means growth, and most people living in repressive and backward societies do not grow. Muslim cultures have been stagnant for hundreds of years while the West grew and experimented.

Its almost like two species trying to communicate.

I'm a Christian and books are only that,BOOKS,unless it's a historical document
to record human history. Muslims are now appearing to be so predisposed to violence that the slightest perception of offence to their
idol "Muhammed the pedophile" results in self appointed Gods that mete out punishment as a favour to that God they created.

Muslims should stop spending so much time
washing their feet before prayer and focus on cleaning their Hearts of hate and bigotry,besides,Allah knows where I live and if he doesn't have the guts to face me in person than he's more like the "Great OZ" and we should just remember to "PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN", he is the Great Allah,sees all,knows all,and can't do SQUAT.
