Pipes: Hamas vs. the United States

Daniel Pipes writes in FrontPage (thanks to EPG) on the possibility of a Hamas attack in the United States:

Potentially violent Hamas operatives in the United States have already turned up.

• In November 2003, the Israelis arrested Jamal Akkal, 23, a Canadian immigrant of Palestinian origins and a year later, he pleaded guilty to planning to kill Israeli officials traveling in the United States as well as leaders of the American and Canadian Jewish communities.

• In August 2004, Ismail Selim Elbarasse, a long-time Hamas money man, was arrested for videotaping the details of Maryland’s Bay Bridge. This “set off alarms among U.S. counterterrorism investigators,” the Baltimore Sun reports. They treated the incident as a Hamas reconnaissance of the bridge and “as a potential link between Hamas and al-Qaida.” In court papers, authorities alleged that the images Elbarasse’s shot of the bridge included close-ups of features “integral to the structural integrity of the bridge.”
Hamas, in short, can at will attack the United States, something that should not be forgotten.

President Bush stated in June 2003 that “the free world, those who love freedom and peace, must deal harshly with Hamas” and that “Hamas must be dismantled.” That approach should remain U.S. policy.

Here's an idea, how about we stop allowing Muslims into the United States?

Amazing thing don't you think, someone looking at a bridge infrastructure up close with a video camera? Don't worry it's just tourist fun folks! Why amazing, you’d think it would be more like 10 or 20 caught doing the same elsewhere! I mean, why have we not caught all the surveillance video takers? Why you ask? BECASUE THE US GOV'T IS RUN BY A BUNCH OF MORONS WHO DON"T HAVE THE COMMON SENSE OR URGENCY TO STOP POLITICAL CORRECTNESS! WE MUST STOP UNCONSTITUTIONAL ECOURAGEMENT OF "ILLEAGEL ANTI AMERICAN SQUATTER CITIZENSHIP". You can evict a squatter from your house but we can't do it from the US? I know it takes an act of congress to do that.

Now that I have calmed down, I would also like to comment that you and me are paying for the health care, schooling, and yada yada yada of all these nice bridge filming tourists who decide to stay for an "extended vacation" until they blow themselves up, poison you and I along with themselves, spread anthrax, or get caught moving illegal funding and other "activities" to make more bridge movies and God only knows what else, but it won’t be for the good of the US or defending the constitution.

Why can this happen? Uncle Sam and the feuding bi-party system are representative of a Jackass and an Elephant, and move at the same speed over the issue that we SHOULDN'T CLOSE OUR BORDERS OR PROFILE IMMIGRENTS! IT's NUTS, NUT'S NUT'S! What we are doing to ourselves? What took generations to create a future for our citizens is being squandered in less than one generation of administrations in the White House. I say it's us first, and everybody else second. No doubt we will be hit again, no doubt. Mr. Spencer is a Patriot of the first magnitude! Keep it coming Robert! Remember that every patriot was a rebel at one time, and Mr. Spencer is a rebel with the noblest cause! Bravo! I love Jihad Watch! We ought to make a movie about Robert, (but from an undisclosed location of course.)

How can we appease the unappeaseable such as HAMAS? How can we convince the recalcitrant to assimilate? How can we enforce the Oath of Citizenship for those that refuse to "give up allegiance to other powers?" Certainly it is in our best interest to have citizens that are loyal only to the United States and visitors that are not out to do us harm.

We can't allow just anyone to enter the United States and United States citizenship is a privilege, an honor that should be bestowed on those that want the best for our country. For this reason, not everyone should be welcome. Arriving to the United States is not a good enough reason to get asylum or resident status. Taking an oath of citizenship does not make a citizen. Only actions do. Some that are born here and others that have taken that oath have proven to be disloyal and not worthy of holding citizenship.

They are unworthy and should be held in contempt and drummed out, their papers shredded, and they should be cast out into the wide world to find a place that will take those such as themselves. Unfortunately we haven't found a mechanism that will accommodate this service. Any ideas?

Whatever you think of Pat Robertson, he is right on this issue.

Carolyn2-

I'm not a fan of old Pat, but you take whatever help you can get in opposing tyrannical miltant all-conquering Islam where you can get it.

As Churchill said:

"If Hitler were to invade Hell, I'm sure I could find a few complimentary things to say about the Devil."

(Substitue "jihadist Muslims" for "Hitler", and you get the drift.)

Whether Pat is myopic 'watchdog' in general, at least here he is biting the right burglar.

Well, DC, not a likely cure and defintiely, not a likely option. Therefore, am eagerly awaiting your suitble alternative. Surely, ye has one!

Gina, stick around, you'll catch on to DC's humor, and join the campaign to have him nominated for Defense, too!

BTW, Gina, here's the slate for '08:

Robert for President
Hugh for State
DC for Defense (have you seen his picture yet?)
Sperry for Intelligence
Malkin for I&N

Gina~ actually, the body count is Much higher.

Yes, I said that, guys. The body count is out of sight.

Since this War was declared upon us decades ago, a great many people have died, thanks to the War by the Jihadists, on almost every continent.
