A painter on the George Washington Bridge turns out to be a guy on terror watch lists. From WCBS-TV New York, with thanks to Kemaste:
NEW YORK (CBS) A routine traffic stop leads to the arrest of a terror watch list suspect in our area. What's more, CBS 2 has learned 39-year-old Sami Ibrahim Isa Ardel Hadi had a valid I.D. to work as a painter on the George Washington Bridge.Hadi was arrested yesterday afternoon by Bergen County Police, say sources, on Route 46 by Ridgefield Park. He was stopped for tailgating.
When the officer called-in the North Carolina plates of Hadi's car, the Bergen County Police report indicates the officer was told Hadi was on several federal agency terror watch lists, and there was a stop and hold order on him.
The police report also says that Hadi had a valid temporary I.D. to work on the George Washington Bridge. He works for L & L Painting, the subcontractor painting the bridge....
PBA officials added, "What scares us is that workers on the Port Authority's bridges and tunnels have no security background checks.
They say they've complained about this since 9/11.
But those to whom they complained were probably more concerned about looking as if they were profiling than, oh, national security or anything that trivial.
Please take time to e-mail stories like this to your State Congressmen and Senators. I have found it to be worth it. The Government doesn't hear or see us unless we show up in their office in the form of a phone call or an e-mail.
Otherwise, they have disconnected themselves from the American people. Please, hammer away at this by sending articles describing the ongoing terror and fraud related arrests of Muslims in America.
Chip away at the stone, which in this case are the rock solid melons sitting on top of the necks of our elected officials.

Hmm...now why did Mr. Spencer conveniently leave out the above from his post? It obviously could not be because of a hidden agenda to demonize Islam and Muslims by scaremongering Americans...
Ah, Shirki, what would "L & L Painting" actually have had to say? How would "conveniently leaving that out" reflect anything about any scare tactics. I mean, I can see by your comments that you don't think it means anything, but some people might think you were being sarcastic.
Then again, if you're being sarcastic, why don't you just SAY you're being sarcastic? Very suspicious. I suppose it has nothing at all to do with you being a radical islamicist who would impose sharia irrespective of public wishes, or who supports violence, or paedophilia.

The entire statement was:
L and L Painting is based in Hicksville, says it could not comment because it works for the Port Authority, and the Port Authority says it's been told Hadi is not on a terror watch list.
But the PBA union for Port Authority Police confirmed that a painter on the GWB has indeed been arrested and was on the terror watch list.
AND WAS ON THE TERROR WATCH LIST.

No one has to "scaremonger Americans." To be scared, all we have to do is look at the effect that Islam has had on Muslim countries and now on Canada, Europe and Australia.
What do terrorists look like? They look very ordinary. Are they Presbyterians, Methodists, Buddhists? No, so far they are Muslim. Until other groups begin to commit jihad violence, we must continue to keep known Muslims under surveillance. The "unknown" ones, however, are the more dangerous.
