FBI agent says Palestinian professor was bugged

Al-Arian update from AP, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

The government tapped former university professor Sami Al-Arian's phones, planted microphones at his think-tank and intercepted his faxes and computer conversations because they suspected him of terrorism ties, a retired FBI agent testified.

A lot of work to build a case for one man.

OH NO! He's just an innocent victim! He didn't mean "Death to Israel" when he said "Death to Isreal." He was misquoted. The phrase was mistranslated. He was taken out of context. He's part of the Palestinian Diaspora. He's a victim of thought-crime. His freedom of speech is being curtailed. He's being denied Academic Freedom. He's a martyr. His nation was ripped away by the evil Zionist invaders; it's all there in "The Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion." He's being targetted becaue he's a Palestinian. He's a human rights activist. He didn't campaign for the GOP in 2000.

There, now I am done. I'm just practicing for my infiltration of a local Muslim/Hippy "Justice and Peace" rabble.

(BTW Mr. Director, the strikethrough feature isn't enabled yet...)

LOL... click the link above and read the entire article. In the closing paragraph (the one you're supposed to actually remember) you'll see this little gem:

Al-Arian and his co-defendants have denied the charges, saying that they are being persecuted for their unpopular views.

LOL.... the government spends ten years and millions of dollars building a case, and then spends four years and millions of dollars trying a case, all because of "their unpopular views."

Like the US does this against people with "unpopular views." Oh yeah, right. This isn't Iran, Saudi Arabia, or Egypt, places where people really are tried, raped, threatened, fatwa'd, imprisoned, and lynched for thier unpopular views.

It should be obvious that the phrase "being persecuted for their unpopular views" is code for "victimized by the Zionist-controlled US government."

Hey Dipshit! If the government persecuted people because the held "unpopular views" (like your beloved Muslim hellholes do) there wouldn't be enough of us left out of prison to guard the prisons.

What a joke.

Just once--ONCE!--I'd like to see a Muslim jihadi stand up and say, "I did it, and I apologize. I was wrong to give assistance in the campaign to murder innocent civilians. I felt aggrieved and was made to believe that I could avenge myself by targetting people close to, or that look like, the people that I thought hurt me. I was wrong, and encourage all those people out there that are facing the same issues that I did to cease and desist at once. Don't make the same mistake that I did. I did a very dishonorable thing, and for that I am sincerely sorry. I would like to offer my apologies to the victims, survivors, and their families that were killed as a result of my efforts; and I beg their forgiveness.

For these reasons, I am dropping my sham of a defense, I am dismissing my attorneys, and I throw myself upon the mercy of the court. I request life imprisonment without parole, and I hereby dedicate the rest of my life behind bars to spread the message that terrorism is wrong.

(... of course, he'd immediately be dismissed as a Zionist tool, called an "apostate", and sentenced by fatwa to death. His family would have to go into hiding. And he wouldn't be allowed to attend Koran Study Group in prison.)

A lot of work to build a case for one man.

When all it would take - is 'a loud enough microphone' - and some real common sense - called The Truth

It's not a lot of work for "one man." Liken that [one man] to a spark...

It only takes a spark to get a fire going....

THAT is the essence of this case; al Arian is not alone here, hence, "al Arian, et al." Further, there are other al Arian's here, as well; the difference is: this one got caught!
