"But Department of Energy report says nothing was compromised." And we aren't told where these illegal immigrants were from, or why they might have been wanting to use false documents to get into the site. No doubt these were not jihadists but just undocumented Irishmen on a prank, so this is a story about lax security: what is to prevent jihadists from doing this? Sure, now security is tighter. It was supposed to be tight to begin with. From CNN, with thanks to Jeffrey Imm:
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sixteen illegal immigrants gained access last year to one of the most sensitive weapons sites in the country, according to a report issued Monday by the Department of Energy's inspector general. The inspector general's investigation found the illegal immigrants were construction workers on jobs at the Y-12 National Security Complex near Knoxville, Tennessee.
The workers used "false documents" and "gained access to the ... site on multiple occasions," the report said.
The report details how the workers, apparently using fake green cards, were able to obtain access badges.
"This situation represented a potentially serious access control and security problem," the report said.
According to the report, the inquiry brought field agents to the plant who found "official use only" documents "lying unprotected in a construction trailer, which was accessed by the foreign construction workers."
The National Nuclear Security Administration, which oversees nuclear weapons facilities for the Energy Department, said in the report no evidence was found that the workers had access to any of those documents.
The inspector general, Gregory Friedman, also found that although security was compromised, access controls at the plant have since been tightened.
And he found no evidence that classified or sensitive information was compromised.
There is a simple way to improve security at our nuclear sites. Build teams of an ex-Air Force major or lieutenant colonel or an ex-Navy lt. commander or commander and three or four senior NCO's who handled nuclear weapons. Put a team in charge of security at each site. Support them.
When are we going to learn? No muslims on secure jobsites unless carefully vetted. PC nonsense must be stopped.
Re: "According to the report, the inquiry brought field agents to the plant who found "official use only" documents "lying unprotected in a construction trailer, which was accessed by the foreign construction workers."
Who are the bozos responsible for construction management that they would be so careless with this type of document. I suggest a few firings may "encourage" the others to be more careful.
Even at our most dangerous facilities, employers are NOT REQUIRED to verify Social Security numbers, even though the system is in place.
This is absurd.
The open borders crowd in playing Russian Roulette with our lives and the lives of our children.
By all means lets wait untill the worst happens before we take the logical steps. Today's leaders (especially the left) will have an unimaginable amount of blood on thier hands THEN AND ONLY THEN will we wake up. The above story should be front page news, so the press is compliciant.

Should I be glowing with pride over the security situation around our nuclear and other sensitive facilities?
Or just glowing?
Our leaders are fools, the GOP are less foolish than the Dems, but not by much. Time to give the boot to all illegals and shoot anyone advocating amnesty!

When will you sheeple wake up? The government doesn't give a damn about protecting you. It won't even make an effort to control the borders.
What the government cares about is controlling you. Now the Patriot Act will provide for searches without warrents. Who do you suppose will be subjected to warrentless searches? Muslim terrorists? Mosques? No, sheeple, YOU.

Republican Democrat Scandal!
Hatred can be so blinding.
It seems there is no limit to Paul Krugman’s hatred of the Republican party. And apparently there’s no limit to the New York Times’s willingness to embarrass itself by printing yet another hilarious error-filled column by America’s most dangerous liberal pundit.
In his Friday column, Krugman attempts to spit out the salacious details of scandals involving Republican politicians in Ohio. But what Krugman doesn’t seem to know is that many of the politicians he’s talking about are Democrats! And because the Times does no fact-checking of its op-ed columns, his absurd blunders now live forever in the “newspaper of record.”

Anti-Syrian politician assassinated in Beirut

BEIRUT (Reuters) - An anti-Syrian politician was killed in Lebanon on Tuesday when a bomb ripped through his car, two days after parliamentary elections brought victory for an alliance opposed to Damascus' role in the country.
George Hawi, a former leader of the Lebanese Communist Party, died instantly in the blast in the Wata Musaitbi neighborhood of Beirut, witnesses and security sources.
"After the explosion, the car kept going and then I saw the driver screaming and he jumped out of the window. We rushed to the car and saw Hawi in the passenger seat with his guts out," Rami Abu Dargham, who owns a sandwich shop nearby, told Reuters.

Marines win Iraq desert battle, war far from over
Tue Jun 21, 2005 08:08 AM ET
By Peter Graff
KARABILA, Iraq (Reuters) - U.S. Marines claimed success on Tuesday in another battle against insurgents in the Iraqi desert but acknowledged that the war was far from over and that guerrillas would soon recover lost ground.
After four days of bombardment and street-to-street gunbattles, the Marines cleared Karabila -- a strategic way station near the main border crossing where the Euphrates flows in from Syria -- of foreign fighters who made it a base.
But U.S. officers and local people in the town, badly damaged by the fighting, said the insurgents would be back.
"That is another in a string of successful operations that continue to disrupt and interdict insurgent activity in west Anbar province," said Colonel Steve Davis, who commanded the 1,000 U.S. and Iraqi troops involved in "Operation Spear."
Battalion intelligence officer Captain Thomas Sibley pointed out, however, that any final victory was still some way off: "If this was the only thing we did, we would lose this war -- quickly. But it's not the only thing we're doing.
"Yeah, in a couple of weeks they'll be back and they'll make up for these losses. But that's fine, because we're not beating them in two weeks. We're beating them in two years."
Mohammed Solfeij, 33, whose house is on the outskirts of Karabila near where the Americans first entered the town, said the insurgents would be back "as soon as the Americans leave."
GUESS WE WILL JUST HAVE TO COME BACK THEN!!!
Locals say much of the town had been under control of foreigners, who had even set up checkpoints in the center.
Lieutenant Colonel Timothy Mundy said the U.S.-led forces killed 45-50 insurgents
OH MY IF THEY ARE FOREIGNERS HOW CAN THEY BE INSERGENTS??
Four Iraqis were freed from a cell where they said they were tortured. Weapons, ammunition, explosives and bomb-making gear were discovered, in one case alongside a horde of passports from Algeria, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Tunisia.
Stuffed in one a boarding pass showing the bearer flew on Libyan Arab Airways to Damascus from Tripoli on June 1, buttressing Washington's complaints about Syrian indulgence.
OH MY NOT IRAQIS BUT ISLAMIC TERRORIST???
Whole streets were obliterated.
NOW THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!!
Marines say the devastation is the price to pay to disrupt Sunni Arab insurgents responsible for a suicide bombing campaign that has worsened over the past two months since a new Shi'ite-led government was formed. And they hope that soon they will no longer have to abandon towns once they clear them.
A company of about 100 newly trained Iraqi troops assisted the 1,000 Americans in Operation Spear -- all the local troops the Marines have to work with in their territory so far.
"In two years, or maybe one year or six months, there will be Iraqi army or Iraqi security forces that come here and stay on the territory that we push the insurgents from," said Sibley, the intelligence office. "The locals will love it."
YEA THE IRAQI PEOPLE DON’T LIKE HAVE-ING THEIR HEADS CUT OFF BY ISLAMIC TERRORIST!!!

The Missing Munitions
Thursday, October 28, 2004
Commentary by Rick Leventhal for FOX Fan Central
• Rick!
Oct. 26, 2004 5:11 pm
I've been reading and hearing a lot about the missing explosives from the Al-Qaqaa military installation in Iraq. It’s a disturbing story, but doesn't surprise me. Not one bit.
I don't know who is to blame for the materials not being safeguarded or destroyed at that location, or if they were actually still there when U.S. troops arrived on scene last April, but I do know this: a trip across that country revealed one huge weapons depot after another. There were more missiles, mortars, guns, grenades, and ammo in Iraq than you could ever possibly imagine. The stuff was everywhere: in schools, hospitals, mosques, bunkers, abandoned buildings, holes in the ground, and homes under construction. Locating, disabling, and destroying the stuff was a priority for the Marines we were with, but the task was ridiculously challenging.
A GOOD READ TO REMEMBER WHERE WE HAVE BEEN AND WHAT WE DO NOW!!!
Mostly, it was the sheer volume of munitions that created a constant challenge, forcing difficult choices to be made on a daily basis. There were so many of these weapons caches in so many places that it appeared nearly impossible to handle them all. If there was no other duty except to locate, secure, disable, or destroy the stuff, then perhaps the Marines and other forces could've done it. But new piles were being reported and located constantly, even as authorities were trying to figure out what to do with the stuff they'd already collected. Much of it was stored by Saddam's forces in heavily populated areas, which created even greater problems. For example, the Marines took us to several elementary schools in east Baghdad where classrooms had been emptied of desks and chairs and filled with hundreds of cases of grenades, large caliber machine gun rounds, mortars, and RPGs, literally stacked floor to ceiling, filling room after room. Behind the school in the parking lot there were several large truck trailers also packed to the brim with cases of the deadly cargo.
READ THE WHOLE THING FROM SOME ONE WHO WAS THERE ON THE GROUND!!!

Tariq Shah's lawyers didn't outright deny the allegations. They called it a case based on "statements." The men aren't accused of actually carrying out a terrorist attack, or even plotting one, just offering to train "urban warriors" in hand-to-hand combat, or treating their wounds if injured. Apparently there's a lot of stuff on tape that could be hard to refute, like Shah and his doctor buddy swearing allegiance to bin Laden...so maybe the defense is entrapment. What did the FBI undercover agent do over the course of two years that led to these guys taking this oath, if it really happened?
I don't know, but my producer Ian Rafferty raised an interesting point. If the allegations are true, why aren't these guys charged with treason? Should they be? What do you think?

Okay to Cheer Terror?
Tuesday, June 07, 2005
After court was over for the day, I grabbed Sami Al-Arian's defense attorney for a quick interview. He tells me the case is about free speech, even the right of his client to celebrate a bus bombing.
"What's not illegal? Applauding a terrorist act?" I ask, surprised he'd acknowledge his client might cheer the death of innocent people.
"That's correct,” He told me.
"So he has a right to do that?"
"He has the right to do that."
"You’re not disputing that he applauded a terrorist act?"
"I'm saying that if that's what he did, he had the right to do that. That's not illegal. It’s not illegal to stand up and say, 'I support the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.'"
I ask, "What about funneling money to suicide bombers' families?" Which the government also alleges he did.

Pope Blasts Europe for Excluding God
Tuesday, June 21, 2005
"Europe has developed a culture which, in a way never before known to humanity, excludes God from public conscience, either by being denied or by judging his existence to be uncertain and thus belonging to subjective choices, something irrelevant for public life," Benedict writes.
He dismisses arguments that inclusion of the reference would have offended Jews and Muslims, saying they are more offended by Europe's attempt to deny a historic fact.
"It's not the mention of God that offends the followers of other religious, but precisely the attempt to build a human community absolutely without God," he writes.

Frist Backtracks on Bolton Vote
Tuesday, June 21, 2005
But after meeting with Bush, Frist came out to the cameras stationed at the White House and said he would schedule a third vote to end debate and vote for confirmation.
"The president made it very clear that he expects an up or down vote," he said, adding that Democratic resistance has nothing to do with Bolton, but everything to do with resentment toward the president.
Deputy State Department spokesman Adam Ereli expressed surprise at Frist's initial announcement, claiming Democrats had left Bolton "hanging in the wind." Before Frist's reversal, Bush's spokesman repeated the president's insistence on the Senate holding an up or down vote. At the White House, Scott McClellan did not disguise administration anger at Senate Democrats who have held up the candidate's nomination for months.

Here's part of a inquiry into Islamophobia and CAIR actually defends 19 Illegal Immigrants that mirrored the 19 Muslims from the 9/11 attack.
The Stroll on the beach near the water intake
ducts was a nice touch,as if that had nothing to do with the flying lessons over that same Nuclear Plant.
Lets face it,they were caught and CAIR reverted to the Denial-mode and pulled out the "Islamophobe" card that's getting old really fast.
CAIR'S spokesperson also swore on a Quran prior to misleading the Judge on CAIR's terrorist connection by members and the half-truths that fail to tell WHY the Muslims were detained or asked questions.
They want us dead and will lie to please Allah and further the Islamic cause.
************************************************
MS KHAN:
Then in the fall of 2003, there
was this case of 19 Pakistanis -- actually 18 and
one from India, 19 people from the Indian
subcontinent who were rounded up, and the
preliminary comment from the Government was
that -- in fact I quote, and this is from tab 12.
MR. CAVALLUZZO: Tabs 12 and 14.
It is called Operation Thread.
MS KHAN: Operation Thread. At
tab 12, page 4, the official said, I guess the
easiest way of putting it there is the suggestion
they perhaps might be a sleeper cell for al-Qaeda.
And then, of course, the case of
fell apart in the same tab 12. The reasons for
initially arresting these individuals was, in one
case, there was a student who was a commercial
pilot. His flight path for training purposes flew
over the Pickering Nuclear power plant. It turns
out that every student's flight path goes over the
Pickering nuclear power plant. Whether that
should be changed or not, that is up to the
aviation officials, but he was singled out.
It says -- the document that was
submitted by the public security and
anti-terrorism unit said that he often brought
with him an unknown male as a passenger and his
instructors describe him as an unmotivated
student. It took him almost three years to
complete what would normally be done in one year.
Then another person was a friend
of his. Two of those who were arrested wanted to
take a walk on the beach near the Power Plant.
Another individual had an offer of
employment from the Global Relief Foundation,
which was later branded as a group fundraising for
terrorist groups. I don't know if that had merit
or not. Another individual was someone who
lived with that person who was offered employment.
The document also cited that all
of these men came from or had connection to one of
the four provinces in Pakistan, the Punjab
province, which they note has Sunni Extremism. So
the fact that they came from a certain part of the
world which -- you know, and on and on and on, and
one individual had access to nuclear gauges.
Also, the two apartments where the
subjects lived had unexplained fires, and one
who was arrested had airplane schematics
and a picture of guns on his wall; and that when
a group of them moved out, they took just their
computer and hard drive and left everything else.
***** So you see all of these things
that are listed, and for many of us we would LAUGH
if it wasn't so serious; that all these
associations have been linked and have been done
so and analyzed to purport criminal behaviour, or
terrorist-linked behaviour.********
MR. CAVALLUZZO: What happened to
the 19 individuals ?
MS KHAN: They were all deported for
immigration violations, which should happen if you
violate our immigration laws. But the Government
never officially cleared their names, never
offered an apology, never offered any redress.
And I think that is another issue
that many of us find so frustrating; that we
recognize mistakes will be made, but there seems
to be very little avenue of redress for personal
loss in terms of employment .
MR. CAVALLUZZO: Or, indeed, an
apology from your government?
MS KHAN: Yes. I think that would
mean the most.
*************************************************
Ms.Khan gave this testimony on June 9 of 2005 and failed to reveal the whole story abot the
19 Sunni/Pakistani/student/males , they were part of the 26 illegals rouonded up under UN rules for non-citizens that break the law, the 19 Muslims were males that used bogus ID's to forge bogus Passports so they could get student Visas
for the bogus mail order College that sold Student Documents to prove emrollment in a School.
Sheema Khan spoke for CAIR-Canada and this tactic of pretending to denouce Terrorism as a loyal citizen and then denouncing the arrest of
Illegal's that happen to be Muslim male Sunni's from Pakistan and followed the same pattern as the 9/11 hijackers, only helps the Terrorists
since the Intelligence Services and Police would now fear the label of "Racist" or "Islamophobe"
and risk a law suit from CAIR or be fired for Racial profiling to stop a terrorist act.
Maybe Ms.Khan finds all those connection to possible terror-cell links laughable, but CAIR
gloated over the fact that no American-Muslims were among the 19 9/11 hijacker attacks by Muslims that shouldn't have been in the Country.
Now that the Government has acted on the flaws pointed out by CAIR they still bitch and while
that Racism is behind the deportation of Illegal Immigrants or suspected non-citizen terror cells.
Which one is it Mr.Hooper, do we stop those defaming the Quran and Islam from getting into the Country , or should Muslims get a special dispensation from the Murder Laws and slaughter infidels for your Islam that forbids violence
and crimes by Muslims.
Some how I believe you'll warm up to Profiling
when it's YOUR Mosques and CAIR offices being bombed by extremists that see you as apostates befriending the Christian and Jewish pigs,by then the ACLU will stop Airport checks for Muslim males from Terrorist producing Countries and
us infidels will pull up a chair and watch the "Jihadist Channel" to see all the murdering in the name of Islam and Allah.
Irony and revenge is so sweet, but best served cold.
