Islamic states demand Muslim permanent seat on UN Security Council

By the same insane logic the Vatican who also boasts 1,000,000,000 followers should be granted a seat. What a preposterous and therefore typically Muslim notion... Muslims are the theocratic punks of the planet, the despoilers of first world nations, and the destroyers of superior cultures...

So a religion wants a permanent seat on the security council. I hate to surprise these guys but it is called "United NATIONS" for a reason. Someone should remind them of the "NATIONS" part, it may have been lost in translation!

Why would they need that when they can just purchase the votes, as Saddam did last time.

So go ahead and give a seat to the Vatican too. Oh, not gonna happen! If Christians asked for the same seat, the media would be in a uproar. The UN would create 10 or 13 committees to review what they should do, and what violations occurred.

All the muslim nations should merge into one, and then they can have a Nation sit on the council, not a religion. But they will not do that because they would give up all of the individual majority votes that those nations represent, and it would set them back.

Everyone should take note and not overlook the obvious because of the absurd. The obvious is here is islamic nations once again letting us see what is behind the curtin, their agenda.

Wasn't there some efforts in the past several years to change the status of the Vatican or to downgrade its status? I seem to remember something about that, but I can't pull up the exact details.

That is a rather weak argument. Who would decide which state is truly islamic, and how would they determine which of those nations would take the seat? Would it be cyclical? This is just getting so outrageous. How much simpler the world would be without our man-made superstitions getting in the way.

On a side note, I imagine if they get a seat on the UN Council they will expect the other countries to respect muslim traditions without respecting any other cultures. Sort of like this story.

I knew this was coming. I say they already have the UN. Move the UN headquarters to Mecca, and those states who wish to follow can leave the UN with the US in the lead.

Tell them to show they are civilized enough to allow Christians and Jews to live in peace in their borders. Until then, screw off.

Give them a newly-created seat/body all their own on:

THE INSECURITY COUNCIL

-since that is their REAL forte.

Not a bad idea. Jeanne Kirkpatrick suggested moving it to Moscow. The complainers suddenly shut up. If we seriously suggest moving it to Mecca or Khartoum or Tehran or Kandahar they will shut up again.

Consider a different way of looking at this for a moment.

If a permanent moslem seat is given at the U.N., it subsequently changes the status of islam from "religion" to "nation". If we are able to categorize islam as a nation, we are now legally capable of calling for sanctions upon islam as we would any other State. Economic, political and/or military actions could be rightfully applied as needed, making moslems as vulnerable as any other nation deemed guilty of committing international crimes.

Ironically, in a fashion moslems are obviously not seeing, we could have the perfect opening to begin IDENTIFYING islam itself as the problem, and actually begin taking real, important steps towards fixing the moslem problem, instead of the insufferable "few bad apples" dance we've been forced to endure seemingly forever.

Something worth thinking about.

I hope Bolton, if he ever gets the UN job, really shakes it up at the UN. I would love it if he suggested that the US may leave the UN, but it won't happen.

They live in a fantasy world. Regardless the claim and the aspirations, Muslim is not a race nor is Islam a state. Some millions of Muslims are working to make this fantasy a reality at our expense.

Muhammedanism is a psychosis most often expressed as belligerence, a free floating anger that aches to latch onto the non Muslim. Sometimes the Muhammedans war on each other when there are no un-Muslims to rage against, bully, browbeat or kill.

Not 1/5 of the world =-- please do not repeat Muslim propaganda. No more than 15% of the world's populuation is Muslim, and that can be arrived at only by assuming that virtually the entire population of those countries called "Muslim" so carelessly are in fact Muslims. But it just isn't so. Check yourself. Add up the known Muslim populations of all 57 members of the O.I.C. Deduct for non-Muslims (i.e, Christians in Pakistan, Hindus in Bangladesh, Christians and Hindus and Confucians in Indonesia, and so on). You will not be able to get beyond 800-900 billion , though we have seen Muslims claim a year ago 1.2 billion, then 1.3, then 1.4, now 1. 5 is the latest figure plucked from the air. It is no different from the self-pitying girl who wrote that little piece in The New Duranty Times the other day, about how put-upon she felt that people were staring at her for wearing her hijab while exercising -- just imagine! -- and she tosses off a figure of "10 million Arab-Americans and Muslims." A tricky figure, and meant to be hard to dissect or analyze. But you get the idea -- she is tryinig to exaggerate the number of Muslims in this country, and grotesquely so, by somehnow linking them to the "Arab-Americans" who are almost entirley the descendants not of Muslims, but of Christians from Lebanon and Syria, mostly but not entirely Maronites (Greek Orhtodox, Melkites, and so on as well), and whose ancestors fled the pressure of Islam, and many of them were, in any case, Arabic-speaking but by no means "Arabs" though for administrative and classicatory purposes they are so wrongly identified as "Arab-Americans" and Muslims in this country would like to use their numbers, and influence, for the purposes of promoting the Muslim agenda, the Muslim causes.

It won't work. And one should watch like a hawk any inflated numbers coming from Muslim spokesmen, and be ready to swoop down and pounce.

Which then means a righteously pizzed off country, like Outer Mongolia, could declare war on the government without boundrys, but represented everywhere by mosques. Glittering dome targets all over the place. This is starting to sound like 1950's movie script...

I hat the UN as much as anybody, but you have to think of the consequences of a sudden US pull out of the UN. We (along w/Britain Australia and other civilized countries) are the only thing keeping that nuthouse from falling apart or worse, completely falling into the hands of Muslim dictators and other 3rd world psychopaths. Under the cloak of "international unity" we could find a Muslim controled UN "peacekeeping" force deployed at our border or some other horrifying scenario. One major weapon anti-Americans like to use to discredit us is that they paint us as reckless and unilaterists by not obeying kooky "international law" set up by the various America- hating nations. The concept of a UN could work but we have to take back and control and force the organization to use descretion in choosing it's members.

Indeed, the Security Council is a dismal failure due, primarily, to its Muslim member nations.
