A WOMAN on a suicide bombing mission was caught at an Israeli checkpoint with 20lbs of high explosives hidden in her underwear...Security officials working at the Erez crossing, the main transit point between Israel and the Gaza Strip, said they became suspicious of al-Biss because her gait was strange.
Fearing she might be a suicide bomber, they isolated her and ordered her to strip. The images taken from a security camera showed her removing her black head scarf and gown. As she continued, the explosives were shown sewn into her underwear. It is possible she tried to detonate the device as she stripped only for the bomb to malfunction. Army sappers took away the device and blew it up safely.
Residents of Gaza are only allowed through the Erez checkpoint subject to strict rules. Al-Biss was being allowed through to receive treatment at an Israeli hospital after she was disfigured at her refugee camp home when a gas canister exploded on a fire while she was cooking.
Colonel Avi Levy, a senior Israeli army commander, said extremists were "cynically exploiting" Israel's humanitarian gesture.
During her television interview, which lasted more than an hour, al-Biss appeared confident and defiant but became shaky.
"My dream was to be a martyr. I believe in death," she began. But she became tearful and began to contradict herself. At one point she denied she wanted to carry out an attack. When she denied any involvement in a suicide bombing, her minders intervened.
It seems she meant to target the Israeli Beersheba hospital where she was to receive treatment for her burns.
I like women who wear 'hot' underwear. She must be one of those 72 attractive virgins terrorists are talking about.
Isn't this the same story we had a few days ago repeated by mistake?
What I heard was that whilst she was in hospital for a month in the first place her fiancé left her which made her suicidally depressed and angry. Thank heaven she didn't succeed then in her mission. Also partly because she failed I doubt whether deep down she had really wanted the bomb to go off.
Extremists are also cynically exploiting the likes of Wafa Al-Bis, who was doubtless fed a steady diet of hatred. News coverage mentions her pleading for her mother's forgiveness for disregarding her mother's advise (implied that mother was against it)and also her disfigurement from the explosion of a gas supply in her kitchen. No mention is made of a husband/father for the child or children Al-Bis has.
Sounds like her "minders" found someone they could easily cultivate.
Israeli hospitals provide free medical care for the indigent. Most of those who take advantage of this are Arabs. This has not kept Arabs -- a/k/a "Palestinians" if they are in the territories re-taken in 1967 -- from murdering doctors, or as in this case, planning to blow up the very hospital where medical treatment was given.
Perhaps the right response is to simply end the whole business of Arab patients. Let them go to Arab hospitals, with Muslim doctors, and Muslim standards. It should help -- if by help one means, helping to establish in the minds of Muslims themselves that they cannot both make war on Infidels, and continue to assume they can receive education and medical care and foreign aid from them, cannot assume -- like that Al-Jazeera executive, as he smilingly confided to an interviewer -- that their children can "flee the Arab nightmare" and enjoy the "American dream" if, in enjoying that dream, they intend to transform the very country whose trusting hospitality they have taken advantage of.
Really, is it not possible even in the slightest to react to every conceivable, and inconceivable -- for what is a planned attack on the very hospital that offered you medical assistance and succor -- provocation? Why are the Israelis, and why are the Europeans, and why are we acting as we would never have acted toward our enemies in World War II, or any other conflict that involves a total assault on us?
Special inhibitions, delicate sensibilities not to be offended -- what?
Hugh, there's an old saying in the United States Navy that Naval policy is written in blood--the blood of sailors that is. In other words, every time a bunch of sailors get killed, they change, tighten, alter, etc. The Rules. As time has passed, the incidence of dead sailors has decreased.
Likewise Israel. Their policies are written in blood: the blood of Jews murdered by terrorists. How often have we heard the plaintive cry of "The IDF wouldn't even LET THE PALESTINIAN AMBULANCES THROUGH!!" Of course, there was a time when they did. And the Arabs, instead of fighting honorably, instead of following the "Rules Of War," instead of following the "Code of Conduct"--instead of acting like human beings--followed the age-old terror adage: All's Far For Our Cause.
And they used the ambulances to bring in reinforcements, bombs, bullets, etc. So the IDF stopped letting the ambulances through, and every since, every time the ambulances are held up, we get the teeth gnashing and garment-rending from the Arabs and their sundry apologists about the "inhumanity" of the Israelis.
Likewise the steadily-increasing scrutiny at the checkpoints... used to be they would let the Arabs come right in without searches or anything. And the Arabs (who were coming to make money, seek medical care, etc.) were bringing in bombs. So they started searching people, probably men only at first. Then they started using boys and elderly men to transport bombs. So the IDF started searching all males. Then they started using women and couriers, so the IDF had to start searching women.
Remember the dirty whore that brought the bomb into the checkpoint in her prosthetic leg? Well, thanks to her, now the IDF has to search every prosthetic limb that accompanies its owner.
Soon women will try to sneak in bombs under their babies in their baby carraiges, and the IDF will have to start searching every baby. (This may have already happened.)
At each new wave of depravity ushered in the Arabs, the IDF is FORCED to respond with an appended set of The Rules. At with each new tightening of The Rules, the hue and cry rises up from the "palestinians" and their ISMer bedfellows about the wretchedness of the dastardly IDF, "Is NOTHING sacred to these monsters! THEY'RE SEARCHING WOMEN'S PANTIES NOW!"
And the "palestinian" terrorists use each increase as a recruiting tool... "See how the Jews have humiliated your parents... they have even violated the privacy of your mother's chastity...join the Jihad..."
Each new depth to which the terrorists sink is fully sanctioned, praised, and encouraged by their "religious leaders." So for example, when a she-thing terrorists seeks to suicide bomb herself, she is encouraged to dress in western clothes, with her hair down, like one would expect from a normal woman, especially one in Israel. They expect her to use makeup and walk with her head up; as they say, "Like a Jewish whore of a woman would." This way, the Jews she murders will not expect it.
Under what-passes-in-Islam-for-normal circumstances, dressing this way would not be allowed. But since she is off to kill Jews, this--like every other aberration--is considered perfectly fine with the religious and social leaders of "palestine."
Israel got tired of jihadis pouring into Israeli towns to murder Jews, so they set up the checkpoints. The dishonorable jihadis started skirting the checkpoints so Israel built a fence. Now with the fence, the incidence of bombing is practically nil. And just see for yourself how everyone criticizes it.
Oh yeah... I had a point. Eventually Israel will stop letting in "palestinians" to seek medical help. As well they should.
What really frosts my jimmies is that they let in the "palestinians" at all. Israel has a high unemployment rate; why are they letting in people to work, especially people that are determined to destroy Israel? Granted, most of the Arabs coming in aren't bringing bombs, but how much of the money that they make winds up in the coffers of Hamas?
It seems to me the industrialists of Israel should stop letting in Arabs to work in their factories and on their farms, and pay a better wage to get Israeli citizens to work. I bet the amount of money they spend to do so would be less than the amount the taxpayers of Israel spend trying to weed the terrorists out of the "work force" of Arabs that come through the checkpoints every day.
Wait a minute... this sounds familiar. Here in the US, we TAXPAYERS pay the feds to inspect produce imported from other countries, and pay for the medicaid, food stamps, etc. for the dirt-poor immigrants that produce most of our food here. All so the importers and cheapskate farmers can pay less. I wonder if the amount it costs the taxpayers is less than the amount it would cost the producers to actually pay a decent wage and get Americans to work in their businesses again? Sure, they would pass on the increased cost to consumers as they always do. But I bet it would cost us less than the current system does. Not everybody pays taxes, but we all eat food.

Wouldn't you have thought that just a little of the estimated $4B the Saudis are said to have contributed to the "cause" in the last four years could have gone to opening clinics and hospitals so their Palestinian brethren wouldn't have to bet treated by the "unclean" staff in an Israeli hospital?
We all know the answer to that though -- the Saudis are happy to support dawa and jihad. Actual humanitarian works are another matter.

In the 50’s and 60’s when the Christians ran that country it was considered to be a piece of Europe in the Middle East - a very successful little country. Then our Muslim friends decided that they wanted to run the show and the country went down the toilet.
