Lahore: It has been learnt that the visiting delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference [APHC] held a meeting with Muttahida Jihad Council chief Salahuddin during which they asked him to soften his stand on the Kashmir issue.According to sources, the APHC leaders conveyed a message of the government to Salahuddin to soften his stand on the Kashmir issue so that a solution to the conflict could be found. In response, Salahuddin said that the council would not soften its stand on the Kashmir issue nor would it become part of any conspiracy. It would continue jihad and ask the APHC leaders not to become part of any conspiracy to divide Kashmir. In the past, India has proved that it wants to complicate the problem and it has not yet shown any flexibility in its position.
APHC shuld thinks it's their fortune that Indian Govt allows them to exist and function from India. I dont see the point of this peace process unless Terrorists accede to rehabilitation of 500,000 Kashmiri Pandit in the valley. Not counting soldiers, wit 20000 Hindus dead (in Kashmir only) we've had our own versions of Bloody Sunday,Bloody Monday and bloody incident for every day of the week. If Indian govt concedes to terrorist demands then I believe situation would worsen as Kashmiri Pandits have vowed to take up arms if peace in Kashmir is achieved at their cost.

What 'concessions' do you think the Indian govt can give the separatists now? From my understanding of the issue, New Delhi cannot agree to any land give-aways or re-drawing of borders. What then, is the fuss all about?
I doesnt matter who holds what. Kashmir is essentially a lost cause. An economic black hole. Indians spend $3 Billion per year on developing Kashmiri economy. Kashmir has virtually no taxpayers. Muslims continue to use the government services like education,health etc without paying tax. From 1989 - 2003 Indian National anthem was never played in schools throughout Kashmir (even govt schools). Indian govt has given a fair degree of legitemacy to AHPC. Indian govt has released scores of captured terrorists as goodwill gesture but terrorists dont reciprocate. The dhimmified wogs at New Delhi are too terrified of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal to stand up to the blatant abuse of peace initiatives by Paki terrorists. Govt forgets that these bastards are still active and that 500,000 of it's own citizens are refugees in their own country becoz of Islamo-facists. Indian soldiers still die in the vale. Indian army spends $2 million a day to maintain a single post on the world's highest battlefield at Siachen. Peace has nothing in it for the Indians. It's just giving Pakistan a breathing space. Indian dimplomacy is a n insult to the gr8 country. Indians never highlight the actual situation of Kashmir and that J&K consists of Jammu (Hindu majority) , Kashmir (Momed) & Ladakh (Buddhist). Indian govt is giving the Islamofacist amnesty and giving them a chance to discuss possible solutions to the problem whilst Kashmiri Pandits rot int their refugee camp

They are asking for it with their outrageous and empty-skulled invocations of insane exaggerations of Gitmo versus the Gulag (zero dead as opposed to millions murdered).
