Dressed in a navy suit and red tie, his hair parted neatly on the side, Special Agent Charles E. Frahm sat with practiced calm as Muslims rose, one after another, to hurl raw complaints at him. Mr. Frahm, who heads the counterterrorism division of the F.B.I. in New York, was at a banquet hall in the Midwood section of Brooklyn on Thursday night to listen, he had told the hundreds of residents gathered there.And they responded. They were tired of being held for hours at airports when their names resembled those of suspected terrorists, they said. They were tired of seeing Muslims arrested on immigration charges. They were tired of having their mosques watched, their businesses scrutinized.
"America is our land!" Faruq Wadud, a Bangledeshi man, hollered hoarsely into the microphone as the room broke into a thunderous applause. "We are not foreigners! Our children, this is their motherland!"
Two different issues here. America may well be his land, and his childrens', but unfortunately that has not sufficed as an assurance that Muslims would not engage in jihadist activity. There were a couple of American citizens arrested quite recently. But about that case, read on:
Since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, the relationship between Muslims and law enforcement agents has been predictably fragile. The two groups have engaged in a delicate dance, balancing self-interest with political calculation.People on both sides acknowledge a need for meaningful cooperation. But the relationship has frayed - and the voice of dissent among Muslims grown more audible - as a result of a series of criminal cases that have raised questions about the methods used by authorities in their fight against terrorism.
The government's focus on undercover sting operations and the recruitment of a network of Muslim informers has provoked the sharpest criticism. The most recent sting, which produced arrests last week in New York and Florida, has further stirred debate, although many details of the investigation, which led to charges that two American Muslim men conspired to aid Al Qaeda, remain unknown.
They are, of course, innocent until proven guilty. But the community should not be too hasty to charge injustice. Certainly the feds have bungled several cases in the past; but also Muslim groups have charged railroading and discrimination in cases where the accused turned out to be guilty: Mike Hawash is a notable example.
But, of late, perhaps no case has caused more ire than that of two teenage Muslim girls who were detained on immigration violations in March after the F.B.I. became concerned that they might be planning to become suicide bombers. After six weeks in detention the girls were quietly released, and officials have declined to comment on the case....
Not enough information here to know what is going on.
"It's nerve-racking that every time you hear there was a sting operation you start praying it won't be an Arab," said Antoine Faisal, the publisher of Aramica, an English and Arabic newspaper in Bay Ridge. "There has been no disassociation between individuals and the community itself. It's, 'Those Arabs did it again.'"...

By the time Mr. Faruq stepped up to declare America "our land," the temperature had risen markedly, but Mr. Frahm responded as he did throughout the evening: he rose, offered an understanding smile and stood his ground."I hear you, and I will continue to hear you," he said. "I can also say we make no apologies for actions we must take to protect Americans."
Good. Those Muslims who are truly law-abiding Americans will have no problem with this at all. However, there is a lingering trace of dhimmitude:
At the urging of the Muslim members, the F.B.I. re-examined the list of scholars it relied on for information on Islam.
I imagine that revised list of scholars is much like General Vines' reading list: long on apologists, short on substance and honesty about Islamic teachings.
"Muslims and the F.B.I. have the same problem," said Wissam Nasr, the executive director of the Council on American Islamic Relations in New York, who spearheaded the effort. "They both feel they are very misunderstood."
Since I am counted among the foremost misunderstanders, I ask again: please show me a version of Islam that refutes the jihadist version. Assertions are easy. Documentation is harder.
They can complain real good to a hapless FBI agent but where are these Muhammadans when it comes to turn in the Jihadists and terrorists in their so called Ummah community? They are nowhere to be found. Only when it comes time for mindless protests about being lumped together with Islamic terrorists at the airports. I sure hope they feel they are not welcome in America. Go immigrate to the stupid EU countries. They need your oil more than we do.
On the positive side, this session demonstrates that the Muslims in attendance may be trying to understand what is going on around them. I still hold out hope that there are people in the Muslim community who will come to understand the terrible plight their religion puts them in and will adjust their epistemologies accordingly.

Yes, muslims believe all the earth is "theirs", you are a foreigner as long as you refuse to become an American and honor our way of life and stop your ideas that all must become muslim or die.

How often do we hear a majority of Muslims in America openly voicing their support for the United States of America? We have observed the following: A failure among a majority of "moderate" Muslim Americans to be grateful for living in a country that promotes religious diversity. There is no sympathy for those who undeservedly attribute their woes, either directly or indirectly, to the United States. If you don't speak out against terrorism or take an active role in the prevention of terrorism perpetrated by radical Islamic groups, you support the radical Islamic movement.
Some demonstrators in India have set ablaze the Qu'ran on many occasions, but did Muslim countries vehemently protest such actions as they recently did in regard to alleged Qu'ran bashing in Cuba? No. If you are engaged in denial and deception campaigns and do not support the U.S., you have nothing good coming. When you blame us for your own wickedness, we ignore you. Get a grip and get your own house in order.

I think of America not just as a place but an idea. An idea of Freedom, that places the individual at its core. The muslim can never fathom this on the intellectual or the conscious level, as it goes against the tribal identity of the ummah.
In islam, the individual sacrifices his individuality to the ummah for the sake of the jihad for allah. In many senses, this is akin to the soldier in battle who sacrifices his life for the unit. This could be extended to the conclusion, that there are no real civilians in muslim society.
Only the Truth sets us free.
The Truth about Islam - is that the one and only prophet of Islam - commands vicious bloody attacks against all who deny Islam.
Until that Truth is confronted honestly - there is going to be fighting and bloodshed.

to back that claim,CAIR's website shows that less than 700,000 Muslims( or whom ever signed it )
out of those 5 million endorsed this declaration

CAIR has also been caught padding their reports of "hate-Crimes" and here's a case
about a Sikh boy that CAIR hijacked for their cause but now gets exposed as a hoax.

All I heard is the same tripe you get from CAIR
that this case shouldn't be used to cast a dark cloud over all Sikhs,funny though,the first report of this attack was denounce since it affects all Sikhs and is a tragedy that they must live in fear of those who are ignorant and need to learn about Sikhism to be a better more tolerant person.
The boy was so afraid of the strict rules within
Sikhism that he picked White people to used for his little charade that he was attacked and the thugs cut his hair off which he knew as against

There have been two famous mass-murders in Canada's history,one by Sikhs in 1985 that killed 247 Canadians by planting a bomb aboard in the luggage area of a 747 that was set to explode at over 30,000 feet above the Atlantic and have the evidence go to the Ocean floor to never be recovered during their lifetime.
The second was by a Muslim that planned a suicide mission in 1989,he selected 19 females
to execute that were students at his school and after several trial runs to test the access to the classroom he bought a rifle and some ammo
then wrote a suicide letter that blamed all females for the Worlds problems and his personal hardships( the violent upbringing and abuse his maother went through from his Algerian Muslim Father)that forced him to do this.
He entered the school with the rifle disguised
and entered a classroom with mostly females,he gave all the males one chance to leave or be shot
with the rest of the classmates,they left and he opened fire shooting 19 girls,he then turned the rifle on himself and went to be with Allah in Paradise.
He managed to kill 14 of the 19,but injured
several others in his Jihad to cleanse the Earth

The members of Islam I see in the U.S. (meaning the immigrants and not the one's from the U.S. who who converted to get a 'cool hat and a submissive woman') mainly appear to think of America merely as a place to make money, exploit its advantages, and then to begin to undermine it. By demanding America change to fit their constricted idea of how the world should be. And should always stay.
Failing to appreciate that the U.S. didn't persist and grow through wars [even Civil War] and rise to intellectual and creative uniqueness merely because everyone is 'stuck together out of greed' or a shabby 'opportunity to prosper'.
They project their blinkered view of 'the controlling state' onto America's profound experiment in freedom, and they want to chain the source of their own liberty in the U.S. to the rock of dogma.
With vultures like CAIR pecking out its vitals daily.
Maybe they just can't handle not being ordered by a mullah when and how and where and what to do?
(The 'why' they are not allow to question.)
But America is nothing but QUESTIONING.
If it is too much for them, Mecca calls.
They're all free to leave any time freedom proves to great a burden.
