Here's some good news: the pro-jihad site Jihad Unspun is upset that Muslim youth seem indifferent to fighting violent jihad. And how do they propose to re-energize them? With citations of Islam's martial history and Qur'an quotations that show them that waging violent jihad is central to their responsibilities as Muslims. The implications of their form of argumentation continue to be ignored by key policymakers and both the "liberal" and "conservative" media in the U.S. "Mujahid: Our Youth Are Allergic To The Word Jihad," by a Kashmiri jihadist calling himself Abu Usama Al Mujahids, from Jihad Unspun, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist (the verse numbers cited below are, of course, all from the Qur'an):
Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers(9:14)A thousand years ago, a ship carrying widows and children of Arab traders was heading for Arabia from a country now known as Indonesia. The ship was looted by sea pirates who were sponsored by the ruler of India Raja Dahir; the women and children were imprisoned and tortured. A girl named Fatima who was among the prisoners wrote a letter with her own blood and sent it somehow to Hujjaj Bin Yousuf the Caliph at that time. The letter was read out infront Caliph, “would you not come to help your daughter in hand of idol worshippers? Would you rather sleep in your comfortable bed while your sister is raped? Would you dare to enjoy freedom while one of you is inside a cage? O brotheren [sic] of Islam come rescue me!!!!!”
Upon reading this letter, the Caliph ordered the Muslim army to attack the fort holding the prisoners, the Islamic army was sent in command of 17 year old Muhammad bin Qasim who later killed the Hindu King and destroyed the fort which was thought to be invincible thus starting the spread of islam in the subcontinent.
Today in 21st century, long gone are the pirates of the sea, long vanished is the invincible fort of Hindu king but there are other threats against Muslims, the enemy is more clever and well equipped now; our foe avoids direct conflict that we accept happily and don’t even notice. Fatima is still in prison though, she in a cage near Gaza in Paestine serving a life imprisonment by Israeli forces, Fatima is in Abu Gharib prison in Baghdad, Iraq being abused by the cross worshippers, she is in a dark stinky torture cell in Srinagar Kashmir being raped by Indian soldiers.
But today one thing is different….there is no Muhammad bin Qasim to release her from her irony; there's no one she can count on to come and help her. Yhis [sic] time her Islamic brother will not come in rescue after just a letter, he will not come although he can see the atrocities, he will not bother although he knows well whats going on.
And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!" (4:75)
What has happened to the muslim youth ?? I ask this question a million times to myself; why don’t we at least give it a little though? But no, we have important things to do as we ignore what Allah has said to us that Allah has bought a believer’s life. How can we tolerate abuse of our mothers and sisters and daughters at the hand of non believers? How can we see our brethren naked in front of smiling cross worshippers in Abu Ghraib? How can we have courage to watch a crying Kashmiri 17 year old who was raped by Indian soldiers? How can we even see the tears of an old lady raped by 10 indian soldiers all night? I feel ashamed of myself!!! These are our mothers and sisters, theres no need for me on this earth if I can't protect my fellow muslim from such atrocity. I ask myself where is our imaan gone? Have we forgot what our prophet taught us?
When I see a Palestinian mother crying over a her child’s dead body, I feel guilty as if I have slaughtered him, when I see an Iraqi mother mourning his dead son, I feel guilt because I sat in my cozy chair and did nothing, I slept in my bed while my sister was being raped. I kept on enjoying my comfortable life as my brethren’s life was made a living hell. Yet the insult over injury is that our youth are allergic to the word jihad, our hearts starts sinking with fear of a thought of jihad.
O ye who believe! What is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.(9:38)
It is the time to wake up, it is time to stand to standup and deliver. It is time to payback what they have done to us. It is the time to tell them what the ummah of Muhammad is made of. It is the to stare them in the eyes and tell them that we are the sons of Ali, Saad bin Abi Waqaas. Khalid bin Walid and Salahuddin Ayubi. It’s the time to tell them that we are not anymore a sleeping nation, we are a force to reckon with and we will have our dignity and respect back or we will die defending it.
And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevails justice and faith in Allah”(2:193)
It's refreshing to know that some Muslim youth are turned off to the violence of jihad. This reminds me of the behavior of Western youth during the Vietnam War: "make love, not war," but then they would march, occupy and burn buildings all in the name of non-violence.
The cycle of jihad seems to be inevitable: a few years of peace and then an onslaught against the infidel. Events might predicate the withdrawal into a hudna, or for a time they may grow tired of war, human nature being what it is.
Eventually the cycle will repeat because jihad is mandated in the Koran. This crop of young people may be "allergic to jihad," but eventually someone will remind them that to be a true Muslim one must subscribe to a do jihad.
I don't believe any of this.
The writer should be in Iraq already if he were sincere. Why isn't he?
I doubt 'a letter written in blood' could have been 'smuggled' out of such an 'invincible' prison. Or that this wasn't just a forgery used to excuse a war of aggression.
I doubt that there are not plenty of the 'Muslim youth' who aren't itching to fight and die.
Maybe this is just a lullaby for the gullible West.
The Abu Ghraib "torture" seems to have made a significant impact on the Muslim psyche. Did it not occur to anyone that the whole thing was staged just for that impact?
News flash, boys and girls: we are in a bona fide shooting war with these scum. Our boys are dying everyday in Afghanistan and Iraq. The US military leaders are well aware of that price and how this war must be conducted to defeat the enemy. I can tell you that there are things being done by our guys that will never be reported. That's what happens when the other side makes the decision to operate outside of the constraints of the law of war. Word is out on the street in the TO that some very, very, very baaaaad "unconventional" sh#t happens to those who decide to take up arms against us without regard to the law of war. And it is the very same law of war framework that allows us to respond "outside the box" with internationally recognized impunity. But you are not going to see film at 11. Abu Ghraib? Just the very tip of the iceburg folks.
Oh, boo hoo. Why don't you try some itjihad on your own people, who seem to like raping your ugly women more than any westerner?
O ye who believe! What is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.(9:38)
As well as a call to battle, this sounds like a call for suicide. If muslims love death so much, why are there still so many of them?
"ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.(9:38)".
Could it be that the average muslims dont buy that garbage? Maybe it's because something to eat "now", is more important than a reservation at Allah's dinner table later. No matter what, buy into it or not, the average muslim will never tell you, or other muslims about it. To do so may ensure a quick, one way trip to Allahs cafe. I heard the food there is good but there is only one selection...falafel, called Ta'amia in the M.I, prepared in every way possible by Chef Allah. Fried falafel, boiled falafel, baked falafel, and steamed falafel...Then there is falafel soup, pancakes, bread, and more. Allah spares no expense providing muslims with the best falafel foods possible. Allahs falafel burgers are to die for.
That is,you have to be dead to eat one. An impossiblity, you say? Nope, as we know, Allah can do anything, and he always knows best...
And all this time you thought it was ambrosia and nectar...nope , it's falafel (ta'amia), mana from heaven...
Would you rather sleep in your comfortable bed while your sister is raped?"
Yes, so many women to rape, so little time. These people are so worried about their women being pure that they kill them just because they think they might have talked to a man outside of the family.
" A thousand years ago, a Islamic ship sailing from Indonesia"
This is pure islamic revisionist history.
A thousand years ago, Muhammadas were still trying to slaughter their way into India from the north.
Muslims were not global sailors at any time in their 1400 year history, they were desert dwellers, who couldn't even find enough wood to put a roof on their rock god temple in Mecca.
It's laughable to imagine that their was even a carpenter amoung muslims a thousand years ago, never mind ship builders.
There isn't one shred of evidence Arabs built a seaworthy ship 1000 years ago.
And they'd better stay allergic.
maybe the youth have wised up a little to all the phony rhetoric, threats of punishment and promises of rewards. that crap gets old after awhile;one can only hope.
What is Jihad Unspun?
Maybe not what it appears to be, here is an old discussion about it started by a muslim Here
Read and you will find that it belongs to Canadians in specific a woman name Bev.
Read it and see for yourself. There's a long argument between the author of the article and a poster name of Muslim.
'Ey, Giaour! Dis link no good! Dis link, he broken!
Well, something tells me that if I were a young Kashmiri and saw people being killed and blown up all the time, I'd question a religion that seems to be determined to justify such behavior rather than mourn over it.
I pray that these Muslim youth may quickly find the Prince of Peace--Jesus Christ, who is God incrarnate, give himself on the cross for our sins, and rose three days later.
Same for you, Cubed. I was sorry to read of your cancer on the other thread, and join my prayers for your recovery.
Paolo,
Perhaps a link like this?
Most eyebrow-raising quote:
I.e. Mr. Eric Rudolph, Mr. Tim McVeigh, Mr. Dylan Klebold, Mr. Eric Harris, Mr. Ted Bundy, Mr. Charles Manson, Mr. Kip Kinkel....tell us why did you kill all our good people and why it was our fault that you did such horrible things to them and how we can understand your anger and learn how to live in peace with you in order that we could prevent you from doing it to us again ?
