MADRID -- Spanish authorities arrested five more suspects connected with last year's Madrid train bombing that killed 191 people, documents disclosed Monday show.One of the suspects was charged with belonging to a terror organization while the others were accused of merely collaborating with terrorists, El Mundo reported in its online edition.
The five were also among the 16 Islamic terror suspects arrested last week. The other 11 arrested are suspected to have ties to alleged Iraqi terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

The video is Eng and Span. It says that it appears that Zapatero (shoe maker) was teaming up with the Muslims to oust Asnar, because after the bombings and election, the arrested asked who won the election. Pretty damning evidence. In addition, no investigation (or proper one) was done to find the real crooks. The ETA had planned just in Dec. 2003 to bomb the trains, so this would be the delayed action, as some were arrested in 2003. And it's all so convenient that Quran tapes were found right after the bombings.
The whole after effects were an excuse to oust Asnar and get out of Iraq, to play with the people's feelings. I don't think that Muslims or Moroccans would bomb Spain like that, it's more an ETA style.

Terror organizations like the PLO, ETA and others network and collaborate. Very possible that the Madrid bombings were a collaborative effort, with one side happy to take the credit to the other side's local advantage.

Ibn Rushd is not an apologist for Islam.
ETA and the IRA, for that matter, neither are Muslim, so far as I know though what religion they espouse officially, other than terrorism I cannot say and both have been doing their terrorist thing for a long time as well.
I don't necessarily agree with Ibn that ETA are the more likely culprits in the Madrid bombing, though I'm sure they'd be happy to lend a helping hand. (I could be wrong, but I don't recall ETA killing as many people in a single act of terror.)
When conversing with Muslims remember these simple rules.
l. Islam is perfect (The perfect ideology for the world).
2. By extension an Islamic is perfect and can do wrong.
3. Islam is never the aggressor or wrong, because it is perfect and only the imperfect who resist Islam are wrong. The imperfect unbeliever is the aggressor for resisting perfect Islam.
4. The Muslim is ALWAYS correct, it is the fault of the imperfect unbeliever that he doesn't understand Islam - as he has not been schooled in the right way.
Has anyone ever seen an Arab/Muslim accept personal responsibility about anything, or ever cop to error or mistakes? I haven't.
At the very least it is Insha'allah (The will of Allah), thus eliminating the need to accept responsibility.
BTW, Muslims play the guilt card with Kaffirs, but the guilt card does not play on a Muslim table.
If you have one word by which to describe those raised in the Judeo Christian World.. it is guilt.

and ridicule. Especially ridicule, because that is their chief dialect tool, invoked against Kaffirs.
Muhammad was thin skinned, his response to ridicule was slaughter (fitnah is worse than slaughter).
The Qur'an toilet riots, were a response to perceived ridicule of the basis of their ego and identity.. thus themselves.
