KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - A bomb from a suicide attacker tore through a southern Afghanistan mosque during Wednesday's funeral for a Muslim cleric opposed to the Taliban, killing at least 20 people, and the local governor said an al-Qaida-linked militant was responsible.At least 42 people were wounded.
The attack — which came on the heels of a major upsurge in rebel violence in recent months including assassinations, near-daily clashes with rebels and the kidnapping of an Italian aid worker — further raised fears that militants here were copying the tactics of insurgents in Iraq....
Kandahar Gov. Gul Agha Sherzai said the suicide bomber's body had been found and he was part of Osama bin Laden's terror network.
"The attacker was a member of al-Qaida. We have found documents on his body that show he was an Arab," Sherzai told reporters.
At the rate they are going, they might as well include bomb-making as a subject in their Islamic studies.

What in the world is Allah up to? Muslims and most everyone forget that Allah predestined all these events by means of the Pen of Destiny, prior to creating anything. This is then, all parts of Allahs plan. Now you might wonder, just why Allah predestined muslims to be killing muslims. Why does Allah see that as a means of advancing his cause? Muslims must be mentally fragmented over that, if they ever think about it.
Allah not only created people like Prez Bush to whomp on certain Islamics, and kiss others, he predestined it. Allah not only created the situation between Israel and Palestine, he predestined it. The list goes on and never ends.
So the only thing a rational person is left with is a question?... WHY???? Allah works in strange and mysterious ways...we, including muslims, will probably never know. A highly suspicious story about a Koran being flushed down a toilet in Guantanamo causes an uproar amongst Muslims who consider it desecration. A bomb is exploded in a mosque killing 20 and maiming 42. What do you think the world wide Muslim reaction will be to this documented desecration of a holy place? The real kicker is the Sunnis and Shi'ites are killing each other over an imaginary god. Allah is the moon god idol plucked from the Arab pantheon by Muhammad. Who had mental problems such as hallucinations of Allah dictating the Koran to him. Some say Muhammad's "revelatory" hallucinations came from epileptic seizures.
Dennis...according to the literature, I would say that Mohammad was an epileptic and had frequent seizures. Except for on the spot Qurans from Allah, for convience sake, Mohammad seems to have had most Allahic revelations immediatly post seizure. He stated several times that his best and most often Allahic revelations came while having sex with his child bride. That would indicate that he got so worked up that during orgasm he had a seizure, and Allah spoke to him at the same time.
If done purposly, this is sex magick, black sex magick at that. If not done ritually, then it is the result of brain damage lunacy. I opt for the second, but Mohammad did indulge himself in black magic attempts, so anything was possible...whatever it was, it was all Allahs doing and Allah knows best...
If Allah makes any sense as a God, or if it brings any useful message, it is a call for faith.
By calling Muslims to destroy civilization, it generates a need to strengthen faith within civilization, or in civilization.
To see and to accept that leads to think that maybe God is "talking" through the vision of God (most) people have. And that is tantamount to say that God is but what people think God is. I see a way to a solution there.

Allah is not God, but a desert moon deity predating Islam.

This explains how it could be that Mohammed’s own father was named Allah or Abdullah - which translates into a servant of Allah – even before Islam was created. Mohammed was born into a family known as the Quraish {Webster's Third Dictionary}, who for more than 200 years were the caretakers of the ‘Black Stone’ or Kaaba at Mecca. Before Islam, Mohammed’s religion was known as Kaaba with Allah as God.
Worshiping Moon and Sun Gods and Goddesses were common in ancient times, from the Queen of Sheba in Ethiopia to the Ancient Greeks. Historical facts seem to show that Islam has its foundation in this Mythology, with any Biblical connection being added later – perhaps to give the religion legitimacy in the face of the other powerful regional ‘One God’ religions. Yes. But what I meant is that gods are as real as they are believed to be. In this sense, Allah is greater than Odin, today. And the solution of our problem with Islam will be reached when Allah will be on the same heap than Odin. This has not much to do with reality, it is all in the mind of the believers.
