ANKARA - Swedish Parliament Speaker Bjorn von Sydow said on Monday that Sweden wanted Turkey-EU accession talks to start on Oct. 3rd, 2005 in line with the decision taken at EU Summit of Dec. 17th, 2004.Speaking in a joint news conference after the meetings between Turkish and Swedish parliamentary delegations, Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc thanked Sweden's support to Turkey's EU bid and wished Sweden to continue extending its support during the accession talks that would start on Oct. 3rd.
Well if you read Fjordman's website, Sweden is leading the charge into dhimmitude. Malmo is already an Islamic city, might as well do the same for the state.
I would not say that dhimmitude is the main point, although of course the obsession of the Swedish ruling classes with the most destructive kind of dogmatic multiculturalism is hardly unknown. The point is that those countries that do not want the EU to be anything more than a free trade zone with no political impact at all - Sweden is one and Britain another - are very, very keen on all kinds of enlargement, on the calculation that the larger the membership, the less the opportunity to act jointly and therefore the less the political power of the EU. It is not so much that they love Islam, as that they despise Europe. De Gaulle had it right the first time: Britain - and the Scandinavian countries that share Britain's attitude - does/do not belong in United Europe. I can tell you that when I heard that Sweden had voted for joining the EU by a few hundred votes/ majority, I held my head in my hands, because I was sure that Sweden's membership would be as disastrous as Britain's and Denmark's had already proven.
Turkey will not be allowed into the EU, of that I can assure you. It won't even be on religious grounds. The fact is, Turkey is a wild card, and a very expensive one: over 70 million Turks, most of them too poor to buy EU products and too eager to receive EU subsidies, won't make much of an impression in Brussels.
The only people that would have anything to gain from Turkey's entry would be the major companies, who would have yet another source of cheap labour, and a country ripe to transfer their factories (which were until very recently located in southern Europe, and are presently being shifted to Eastern Europe).
I dare say that the only people that wants the Turks in are the Greeks, and for very selfish reasons, one might add.
Sweden wants Turkey. Of course they do as now Sweden has a large influx of Muslims, Sweden is essentially a dhimmified country and soon to be counted among "Islamic lands." How horrible for those Swedes that are waking up to the fact that they are now under the yoke of Islam.
Turkey WILL be allowed into the EU, of that I can assure you....
70 million Turks, most of them too poor to buy EU products, can be bought wholesale and used as the largest single voting block for EU politicians clamoring for a power grab. The EU's fate is sealed -- they are DOOMED -- 25 million pissed off muslims already infest its rudderless heartland in France and Germany -- breeding like bunnies and determined to undo Mr. Martel's accidental French victory nearly 1300 years ago in Tours...
70 odd million Turks joining 30 odd million muslims already in Europe. What percentage of the total population would muslims then become?
And once in, will Turkey want Morocco and other muslim nations to join?

That's assuming there's no population growth among Muslims, and a stable or growing population among non-Muslims. The Europeans are rapidly dwindling (currently negative population growth) and the Muslims in Europe are exploding (pun intended)
In just 9 short years the 20% you mention may be more like 25% -- May not sound like much, but it's HUGE... Europe is already down the (pardonnes mon francais) crap hole when it comes to demographics --Either way 20% or 25%, they are goners... and we have a new Islamic regime to contend with. We need to be thinking in terms of depopulation somehow... Any ideas?
