A message posted to a password-protected al-Qaeda affiliated forum, which contains a section concerning women and the Muslim family, titled: “To You, My Muslim Sister: The Women’s Role in Jihad Against the Enemy,” seeks to motivate Muslim women to enter jihad in physical and supporting capacities as part of a larger discussion of a sickness overwhelming the “Islamic Nation” that is hindering their fight against the enemy.The author believes that a “disease” is ravaging the ranks of the Muslims, causing “misery and humiliation” upon them by their enemies. The disease is considered a “weakness,” which is defined as “love of life and hatred of death,” and is only improved through jihad and “fighting for the sake of Allah.” Here, the message indicates, is where the Muslim women may play an important role and raise men who are not owned by “cows, trees, crosses, and altar worshippers….”

In these turbulent times we are witnessing so many distressing events, our Ummah in Iraq are dying from cancer as a result of the depleted uranium dropped by our enemies in the Gulf war. Cancer rates have increased ten fold and there is no medication to ease the suffering of the dying due the sanctions imposed by Britain and America. These sanctions have killed one million innocents, half of which are children, who are dying from malnutrition and other related diseases. This is a slow death with no relief. One child is dying every six minutes and we shall be asked by Allah swt what we did to help our brothers and sisters, and feeling their pain in our hearts is not enough. If we were dying in this horrendous way, would we not weep for the indifference shown by our Ummah? Should we not love our brothers like we love ourselves?

it only bothers me that they try to take others with them when they blow.

Yes, Kepha, what is accepted as "proof" in the Arab world would be dismissed as bizarre conspiracy theories if any Westerner proposed the same (unless, of course, they were Muslim apologists speaking on their behalf).
Remember, Arafat had a crew working day and night to prove that there was never a Jewish presence or Great Temple in Jerusalem, Wailing Wall and other archeological evidence notwithstanding. The attached manual was located by the Manchester (England) Metropolitan Police during a search of an Al Qaeda member's home. The manual was found in a computer file described as "the military series" related to the "Declaration of Jihad." The manual was translated into English and was introduced earlier this year at the embassy bombing trial in New York. AFGHAN and US forces have killed 132 Taliban militants and surrounded four of the ousted regime's top commanders after a three-day battle in the south of the country, officials said today.
The brother-in-law of fugitive Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar is one of the key figures under siege in a mountain hideout, the Afghan defence ministry said.

Before this week's battles officials said more than 400 people, most of them militants, had died since the start of the year in Taliban-related violence.
The Taliban have waged an insurgency since they were toppled by US-led troops three and a half years ago for refusing to hand over al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden after the September 11 attacks on the United States.
