Tolerance and tolerance

Last week I spoke at the New York Tolerance Center about "The True Nature of the Jihad Threat." News of death threats I have received somehow found their way to the New York Police Department, which -- unbeknownst to me until I arrived at the venue -- dispatched its "Hercules Team" to ward off any who might have wanted to make those threats reality. The Team, a group of courteous and accomplished plainclothesmen, turned away one young man with a backpack at the door, after he refused to let them search his bag.

Against that somewhat ominous backdrop, I spoke about the violent intolerance of the Islamic jihad: its imperative to impose Sharia, with its institutionalized discrimination against non-Muslims and women, and its mandate to commit violent acts that is rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah, supported by mainstream understandings of those texts, and elaborated by Islamic law. I tried to impress upon the crowd the threat that the jihad poses to central notions of human rights enshrined in the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights and derived from the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Bravo for life's little ironies: after this talk about the need to defend the West from this furious and fanatical form of intolerance, I was confronted by a young man and a young woman who were quite offended by my -- you guessed it -- intolerance. The Muslims who made it necessary for us to have our conversation under armed guard because of death threats did not offend them. My talk did. We had a brief discussion -- until the young man refused to shake my hand and I realized that no real exchange of ideas was going to be possible -- in which I found that their views reflected a large number of common prejudices and false assumptions about the nature of the present conflict, the meaning of tolerance itself, and more. That's why I thought it might be worthwhile to recount some details of our encounter.

The young man, for example, insisted to me that my focus was wrong. He told me that even though he was a Jew, he believed that Israel was a worse violator of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights than the jihadists, and reiterated several times that America is the world's greatest terrorist, not any jihadist. These are, of course, fashionable notions on the Left and some sectors of the Right, but that doesn't make them true.

Israel a worse threat than the global jihad? What violence is Israel fomenting in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Bosnia, and elsewhere around the globe? Where are Israelis spreading an ideology that demands that its adherents subvert the states in which they live and replace their societies with a radically different social model that denies equality of rights to women and certain religious groups? Where are Israelis teaching their children that the noblest thing they can do with their lives would be to strap bombs on themselves and blow themselves up in a large crowd of unsuspecting civilians?

I am sympathetic to the Palestinian Arab refugees, some of whom I know personally. But let us not forget that the refugee problem was not created by Israel, but by the Arab states surrounding Israel that started war against her, making the displacement of peoples necessary where it need not have been. Those states also refused to take in those refugees.

It is also true that the obstacle to peace today in the Middle East is not Israel, which has always been willing to come to a negotiated settlement, but the Palestinian Arabs' attachment to the jihad ideology, which will admit of no peaceful coexistence or any lasting negotiated settlement, but only truces on the way to total victory: the destruction of Israel and reduction of the Jews remaining in the area to dhimmi status.

Israel remains today the only Western-style republic in the Middle East, with the possible and increasingly problematic exception of Turkey. I am in daily contact with Christians from the Middle East, who feel hemmed in on both sides. Most, continuing cultural habits ingrained by centuries of dhimmitude, identify with the Muslims and excoriate Israel. Others are aware of what Sharia means: were peace to come to the area, it is unquestionable that Christians would enjoy more rights and freedoms in Israel than they would in a Palestinian Sharia State (and the Sharia is already invoked in the constitution of the PA). Where in the Muslim world do religious minorities enjoy the rights they do in Israel? Yes, the wall has made life hard for Christians and others in Bethlehem and elsewhere. Blowing people up in buses and restaurants made life hard too. Jihadist brutality and intransigence made the wall necessary.

And America is the greatest terrorist? In this the young man echoed views better expressed by the likes of Osama and Abu Hamza, but let that pass. The fact nevertheless remains that even if the most lurid tales coming out of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo are true, they are simply no comparison in terms of human rights violations to the day-to-day record of Saudi Arabia and Iran, the world's most notable modern Sharia states. To ascribe jihad violence to a reaction to American imperialism is to ignore the jihad conquests that went on for centuries before there even was a United States.

Of course, I was not dealing with the clearest of thinkers. The young man insisted that my talk was about "True Islam," and that I had said that all terrorists were Muslims, when in fact the talk was entitled "The True Nature of the Jihad Threat," and I had said no such thing about terrorists (I actually said that there was no global terrorist network comprised of Jews or Christians acting on theological imperatives from the mainstream of their traditions.) But unfortunately, it would be too hasty to dismiss all this as the muddled views of two somewhat under-informed and overly propagandized young idealists: such views are held by millions in the United States today.

Even worse came from the young man's companion, a Syrian Muslim young lady, wearing pants and no hijab. She complained that my talk did not reach out to moderate Muslims like her -- indeed, she said, it was full of "vitriol" and left the audience more intolerant than they were when they came in. Their view of my intolerance was reinforced, they said, when a New York Tolerance Center official, delighted with my talk (and finding in it no "vitriol"), told me they wanted to have me back next year to be part of a panel. The Tolerance Center official asked me to give them the names of my "dream panel" -- people I'd like to appear with. Off the top of my head, I named Bat Ye'or, Rafael Israeli, and Ibn Warraq. The couple was dismayed: no Muslims! And not only that, but all people identified with "The Right"! I tried to tell them I'd be happy to appear with Tashbih Sayyid, or, indeed, any other Muslim who cared to discuss these things with me, but by that time I was having trouble getting a word in.

However, I never did find out exactly what they found intolerant about my talk. Since I insisted -- as I always do -- that Muslims and non-Muslims must face the reality that jihadists are using the Qur'an and Sunnah to recruit and motivate terrorists, and that only when they face this problem will there be any chance for a viable solution, I can only think that that was their problem. Of course, many on both the Left and the Right consider it in the worst possible taste to suggest that today's terrorism might have anything to do with Islam (despite the fact that this cuts the ground out from any genuine Muslim reformers, whom they profess to support). Couple that with a Saidist inability to see non-Westerners as anything but victims, and Westerners as anything but perpetrators, and you have a potent brew that clouds men's minds.

Is it intolerant to speak about the intolerance of others? Is it intolerant not to tolerate evil? Is it intolerant to set out facts that are uncomfortable and that most people don't want to face? This Jewish/Muslim couple runs an organization that is designed to foster understanding between Jews and Muslims by bringing Jewish and Muslim children together to "celebrate" the "religious identities" of each. How do they keep Muslim children from celebrating the aspects of their religious identity that call Jews apes and pigs (Qur'an 2:62-65; 5:59-60; 7:166) and says they are under Allah's curse (9:30) and must be fought (9:29)? I do not know. But I know that if they simply ignore such aspects of Islam, they will someday be unpleasantly surprised by a recrudescence of Qur'an-inspired anti-Semitism and violence.

Tolerance is a keystone of modern Western societies. But if it is an absolute value, it is a one-way-ticket to cultural suicide. Should the British and Americans have tolerated Hitler? "Toleration of the unacceptable," as Omid Safi's old pal Bob Dylan once said, "leads to the last round-up." I am trying to head that off. Intolerant? Sue me.

Mr Spencer.

1. I wish i was as eloquent as you.
2. I am not letting that stop me though.
3. I am also activly setting up my blog, trying to get the word out that Play time is over..

4. If the truth of Islam is
"its everyone elses fault not islam"
How come we dont see pictures of Jews,Christians or even Hindus, confusists and others
(which i work with almost all of these)
chopping actually carving peoples heads off and posting it online.

This is sick i admire you sticking to your Logical argument.

If america does not wake up soon.
It wont be cultural suicide it will be
The entire COUNTRY committing SUCIDE.

Keep up to great work..
I will work on my grammatical skills.

Oh, I don't know. I'm intolerant of murder, mutilations, rape and other assorted horrors. I guess being intolerant isn't always such a bad thing.

One month ago in casual conversation about the Middle East, the gentleman in charge of the equipment said he recently learned that the "real Islam" had "nothing to do with terrorism." He even speculated that Muslims probably had "their own version of Mother Teresa"! At some risk to my job (I teach at a university), I suggested he read the Koran...

I am currently reading a fasinating book about Savitri Devi (It is called "Hitler's Priestess"). She not only worshipped Hitler, she was also pioneered in some of the ludicrous moral equivalency that is currently practiced by the left: She argued in one of her books that allied countries had no right to judge the Nazi war criminals because they did not respect the rights of animals in their own countries (she was also a pioneer in the animal rights movement).

That young Jewish man is an embarassment to all Jews, a self-hating suicidal moron. Instead of shaking Robert Spencer's hand warmly and thanking him for all that he's done, the retard just argued for the sake of arguing. A typical product of our universities run by liberal traitors.

Real Jews know what Islam is. Real Jews are conservative. Real Jews believe it is time for Israel to wean itself of its addiction to billions of dollars of U.S. taxpayer annual aid and become self-sufficient. Real Jews believe that it is important for the U.S. to enforce immigration laws and maintain its white Christian majority. YES---the U.S. being ruled by CHRISTIANS is GOOD for everyone, not just Jews. Real Jews loath subversive organizations like the ADL who use intimidation tactics through lawsuits and force political correctness and "diversity" upon unwilling citizens.

The rest of the Jews, who don't subscribe to the above, are just kikes who subvert citizens at every level---academia, Hollywood, the news media, and phony "neocons" in phony "thinktanks."

I don't mean to be nitpicking, but...

Mr. Spencer wrote that the notions that "Israel was a worse violator of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights than the jihadists, and... that America is the world's greatest terrorist, not any jihadist... are, of course, fashionable notions on the Left and some sectors of the Right..."

I'm glad he qualified the latter by the phrase "some sectors", however that still implies both too high a number and a marginally mainstream factor on the Right. I think this is to crucially mischaracterize the reality. Even a Pat Buchanan, who is overly critical of Israel, would never say that "America is the world's greatest terrorist". The only sectors on the Right who would countenance such an extreme view are on the extreme ultra-Right fringe, and they are a tiny minority compared to the vast numbers of those on the Left who feel this way.

Mr. Spencer goes on to write that "both the Left and the Right consider it in the worst possible taste to suggest that today's terrorism might have anything to do with Islam". However: the reasons why each do so differ importantly: those on the Left truly believe it, while those on the solid mainstream Right are doing so out of being politically hamstrung by the overwhelming dominance of PC givens. Certainly, those on the right who kowtow to this PC dominance are being cowardly and nebulously ignorant, but they do not share the heartfelt passion for these PC givens which so many millions of Leftists do.

In sum, Mr. Spencer's remarks can give the impression that this is not a Leftist problem. I would maintain this is an overwhelmingly Leftist problem.

People really need to educate themselves.
These death cult members are actually following the teachings of their "holy book".

Metaxy,
Perhaps Mr. Spencer was being overly diplomatic whereas you and I are in a postion to speak the unadulterated truth. It is an overwhelmingly leftist problem and at the end of the day we must convince them of the truth if we are to ever make any headway in this war on Islamofascism.

I work on a US Army base in the US and the sad thing is alot of the people I work with, who in turn work directly for our troops have the same kind of thinking. I dont usually get angry but the mentality that is saturating society is unbareable at times. Israel is our ally and I will back her 100% but I am the minority on base..even among the Jews. It doesnt add up..its complete insanity...not the fact that someone doesnt hold my views, but the fact that they call good, evil and evil, good. The fact that I would stand up to someone who wants me dead or wants the people I care about dead makes me a right wing racist!? If they find out I am a Christian it makes it worse. What am I supposed to say? " I'm sorry I believe in a G-D that believes in morals, justice, peace and freedom. I am sorry that my political views are common sense and I'm sorry i would lay down my life for YOU if this evil came to take away your rights...your life. And I am terribally sorry that the havoc left by Worthless Homicide Bombers makes me angry and brings tears to my eyes.

What is happening in our world that someone like Robert Spencer is looked at as a demon because he cares enough about human life that he devotes his life to helping us understand? The man puts his life on the line every single day because he wants to tell the truth. Savages threaten his life and probably the people around him and he marches on...THAT is how martyr marches...under a banner of truth and self sacrifice that tries to reach all people...yes even the ones who wish him harm.

How can our media watch tapes of decapitations and here about discusting torture and not think twice about it?, but when a reporter hears about a Koran allegedly being flushed down the toilet (where it belongs)its the biggest news since OJ. No need to speak of Muslims using the Bible pages as toilet paper or defacing everything that is sacred to Jews or Christians or Buddists or whoever doesnt believe what they do.

But hey what do I know? I'm just a Ignorant Right Winged Militant Christian Racist....right???

R. Spencer:

The young man, for example, insisted to me that my focus was wrong. He told me that even though he was a Jew, he believed that Israel was a worse violator of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights than the jihadists, and reiterated several times that America is the world's greatest terrorist, not any jihadist.

(sigh) It's Jews like this that make me question America's support for Israel. In the sense of why bother committing so much military, diplomatic, and moral support to a state which seems hell-bent on commiting suicide? Robert's young Jewish interlocuter is unfortunately not unique. His more illustrious comrades include Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, and Tony Judt. And making up in number what they lack in celebrity are the hundreds of IDF soldiers who've refused to serve in the "occupied" territories, or assassinate Hamas militants, or who've become teary-eyed belletrists as a result of their tours in the territories, telling the readers of Israel's leftist newspapers how ashamed they are at having "humiliated" a Palestinian grandmother by making her wait 10 minutes to get through a border check-point.

Where are the Arab and Muslim leftists, BTW? Are they even trying to expand the Arab/Muslim moral imagination beyond the always victimized, always aggreived "me" and "we", let alone attacking their respective community's right to life and self-defense? No, they're standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their Jewish counterparts, humbly backing them up whenever they go into a chorus of how it's all America and Israel's fault.

This is a sad, sad, Saido-masochistic relationship; Jews made neurotic by an over-developed guilt complex have found their perfect match in Muslims with no sense of decency, reciprocity, or sympathy to anyone outside the "in" group of their precious umma.

pocadon:

not the fact that someone doesnt hold my views, but the fact that they call good, evil and evil, good. The fact that I would stand up to someone who wants me dead or wants the people I care about dead makes me a right wing racist!?

This is the sad, sick state of Western civilization today, where racism is now seen as the worst sin imaginable, even worse than murder. If someone murders we'll quietly put him away on death row, and if he stays there long enough and is charismatic enough he might even become a sort of cultural icon or dark folk hero, like Hannibal Lechter or Charles Manson. Yet if he makes even the slightest bigoted remark we must hound him until he repents of his ways, preferrably on camera and after he's been brought to tears.

This twisted reversal of values is why, for example, Al Gore pushed for "hate crimes" legislation in the wake of the murder of James Byrd after his killers were given the death sentence. To people like Gore and his ilk justice and deterence aren't enough; what's required is a quasi-religious ceremony of expiation, where society must cleanse itself of its racist guilt by branding the letter "R" on all its racist perpetrators.

Andrei Rublev:

I am currently reading a fasinating book about Savitri Devi (It is called "Hitler's Priestess"). She not only worshipped Hitler, she was also pioneered in some of the ludicrous moral equivalency that is currently practiced by the left: She argued in one of her books that allied countries had no right to judge the Nazi war criminals because they did not respect the rights of animals in their own countries (she was also a pioneer in the animal rights movement).

When FDR in a public address gave his first warning to Hitler about Nazi expansionism in Europe, Hitler countered by brining up American treatment of the Indians. And the same kind of intellectual idiots lapped it up then as they do now.

well how about that people once again believing everything they hear. wish i could have been at this presentation but unfortunately i am in england so being present is a bit difficult. overall i would have to say that i most likely would have come up and shaken your hand over showing me truths (if i had not been with my head from the sand yet that is).

Well i can at least say as a member of the military thanks for trying to educate the masses, and i hold you in highest regards

All I can add to Mr. Spencer's article is that I wish I could have been there.

What those who idealize every "victim"/opponent of the U.S., and who demonize the flaws of America to the point where it 'deserves to be chastised, if not destroyed' for its shortcomings, DO NOT seem to realize is:

there is not other country that will save their silly rear ends if they get their wish.

They need to pull their heads out of the cocoon of their rectums and travel. To Mecca. To Cairo. To Damascus. To Tripoli. To Fez. To Tehran. To Jakarta. To Amman. To Islamabad. To Istambul.

And stay for longer than two days. (Then get out alone, away from their 'minders'/guides/'helpful' friends.)

And not wear the blinders of "I see only poor post-colonial victims", but honestly study the systems, customs and behaviors of the people around them.

It may take a few trips before the guilt-gloss wears off and they begin to grasp the core of anti-freedom at work. And contempt for the infidel (disguised as a grin for the simpleton tourists). And unselfconscious mistreatment of women. And air of unreality (lack of basic rational sanitation, vaccination and education).

They also take for granted that they can undermine the main source of the defense of freedom in this world and presume that the 'next culture' (triumphant 'underdog' Islam) will treat them the same level tolerance that they take for granted from the 'evil West'.

All they need to do is try to give the same type of critique to Islam's shortcomings (or are there none?) which now exist, and always have (women given half-the-worth of a man, etc.), and see how well their complaints are received. (Maybe staging a protest march during a public hanging of a 16 year old girl who tore off her chador in Iran?)

Their lack of any historical depth or even a common sensical understanding of the dilemma posed by Imperialistic Islam is reminiscent of the idealistically delusional apologists for Soviet communism in the 1940's. When British and American citizens and scientists were stealing atomic secrets, etc., to 'give' to Stalin's terror state in their fatuous dream of "maintaining the balance of power".

As if there was some 'moral equivalence' between the two nations -because "Negroes" in the U.S. were not being given their full civil rights (a correctable social sin), while the communists contemptuously "liquidated" (slaughtered) 20 plus million of their own citizens to "purify" class enemies from the workers'-Utopia-to-come.

Misunderstanding the appalling chasm between such 'crimes'.

Unable to judge magnitudes of inhumanity.

And ready to see their own 'flawed' country fall -in order to punish it for a 'failing to live up to its ideal', while remaining unwilling to recognize the monstrosity that this power-imbalance would unleash on the world. Once their (playing the poor victim) idealogical opponent's ruthlessness was allowed to show its real face.

It is always a smug kind of self-satisfied superficial superiority that reduces the incomparable differences between two starkly different ideologies (a Constitutional system built on the freedom to evolve versus a theocratic despotic Imperialism hungering for global dominion) to this kind of glib equivalence.

It is puerile suicide dressing itself up as progressive chic.

Kierkegaard put it well when he said of the problem of 'solipcism': -it is a castle that cannot be taken, but must be left behind... just pass it by.

We need to realize that arguing with such naive intellects is as wasteful and futile as pouring precious water onto already-sterilized seeds.

And just pass them by.

I would bet every penny I have that these sophists never confront the hate preaching rhetoric of the many many Mullahs, Imams, or general bigots they can find in a random sample of American Muslims who spew hatred of the most visceral kind towards the infidel and all that oppose them.

They never approach them because they know what would happen, what the reaction would be. We all know what would happen if they asked questions of these nasty bigots and their burn-in-hell hatred of the 'unbeliever'. But its easy to approach a rational, peaceful man willing to meet and debate with them, and discuss with them their casuistry.

Hypocrites. Cowards. Liars. They are ultimately quislings, ostriches with their heads in the sand without an ounce of courage or knowledge.

Useful Idiots and bufoons.

Robert, if they didn't get mad, it would mean you're doing something wrong.

Like the saying goes:

Some People are like Slinkies,
Good for nothing,
But it puts a smile on your face everytime you push one down a flight of stairs

I would rather be viewed as an "intolerant bigot" today than in the position of being able to say "I told you so." Some of us have to have the intestinal fortitude to bear that burden.

Buck up and keep on going. There is too much at stake to allow ourselves to be silenced.

Robert,

Beautifully written, disturbing and inspiring.

It should make all of us proud, and thankful, that you have the courage to use your talent and expertise to confront the enemy lions in the heart of their dens and force them to hear what needs to be said.

If you just made one person rethink their support for the subversive, twisted, leftist ideology of islamic appeasement and Jewish/Christian/American hatred, than it was worthwhile and I congratulate you.

I give you my virtual handshake, hell make it a bear hug, and an honest thank you for all your good work.

BigSleep:

I wish you were right about the remedial treatment you propose, but for the ultra-dhimmified, it is more likely to induce even more sympathy.

Witness the "peace activists" of the ISM, some of whom are young Jews, who gladly help protect bomb smuggling operations and the like, because they have already been thoroughly brainwashed to see "hapless victims" and conditioned to give respect to the "other" that they would never give to the "familiar".

The Team, a group of courteous and accomplished plainclothesmen, turned away one young man with a backpack at the door, after he refused to let them search his bag

WTF? Why wasn't he arrested?

How long, oh Lord? How long? This blog is turning into monkey central. This is what happens when LGF fills up with subscribers; the overflow comes here.

Metaxy, Perhaps Mr. Spencer was being overly diplomatic whereas you and I are in a postion to speak the unadulterated truth. It is an overwhelmingly leftist problem and at the end of the day we must convince them of the truth if we are to ever make any headway in this war on Islamofascism. Posted by: William The Crusader

Yep, that's the typical monkey response. If a "conservative" isn't conservative enough (or at all) then "he's being forced to be diplomatic." (see the dissembling over at "Hugh's First Thoughts On Dub's Speech" article.)

William the Crusader? Are you like, William Bennet, who led a Crusade to free thousands of twinkies from their cellophane wrappers? He also led the Crusade to free millions of his dollars from his wallet and into the (organized-crime-controlled) casinos of Las Vegas (a.k.a. "Sin City.")

Oh, but no big whoop says the ditto-monkey. HE'S not a hypocrite because, although he was a daily engaging in the sin of gambling while writting and promoting his "Book Of Values", he never actually wrote about gambling.

Guess what: he never wrote about bestiality either. (Shudder.)

Thanks Robert for your principled support of Israel. Jihad is eternal, so the Muslim mad men rage against the Jews of Israel (my people) who took some of their barren, swampy, malaria ridden Dar al Islam and made it into fertile Jewish turf. Half the Israelis are Jews evicted from Muslim lands so it's only fair for these Oriental Jews to have a home.

I'm Glad the NYPD is on the ball and came to Spencer's speech to protect you against any Muslim psychos and their psycho fellow travelers. Who are usually hopeless leftists.

Truth hurts, eh, kj?

Off for the Long Weekend, everyone have a safe one!

kj,

Do you just constantly whine and cry and talk smack in every post on every topic? Its almost like you think everything is directed at you. Maybe you need a woman to relieve some tension or a friend...but judging by your remarks, people that will actually talk to you without wanting to push you down the stairs are hard to come by.

I too was pleasantly surprised by the NYPD and I hope Robert keeps on traveling and giving talks to anyone who will listen. It's good to have close encounters with the insanity that these two people represent in order to make us aware of just how widespread this kind of thinking really is.

When I was younger, I thought the vast majority of people lived according to truth and just a few avoided it and then only in certain circumstances. But as I have grown older, I realize that the opposite is true. The vast majority actually prefer a mix of comfortable lies and only a tiny intrepid few, like Robert Spencer and Hugh Fitzgerald, have the moral courage to face truth squarely, because truth can be very harsh.

Human nature is just what it is, weak, selfish and morally uncertain. That's the story of all of human history up to now, so I doubt it will change especially for us.

Bravo Robert!

my best, Rebecca

It is no surprise that the NYPD were there in plain clothes to protect Robert. He deserved the protection and they deserved to know his current [situation].

As for the man who refused to let police look through his backpack, he had the right to refuse. They did not have probable cause to look; if they did, trust me, they would have looked. After all, he was not boarding an airplane. He still has rights. Even Robert would agree with that.

But, Robert has rights, too. His right to protection from known threats is his, indeed, and were duly noted.

Thanks for not letting the threats slow you down! You're a positive example to everyone!

I know a heir to a Swiss watch company who had previous dealings with rich Arabs. He has a similar world-view:

He thinks its only poverty that turns them into radicals. Once they all have jobs they would just 'naturally' become 'moderate'...

My daughter, who is now in the 4th semester in one of the top universities here in OZ sees herself confronted with similar stupidity; like 'Islam is a beautiful religion' and 'what have they ever done to you?' etc. etc.

She knows better, of course. But she has to work on her arguments and be ready for debating, without getting emotional and without getting herself in trouble. I hope she copes!

Encouragement is much appreciated!

The Koran calls Jews and Christians apes and pig’s sura five forty, "I will cast terror into the hearts of those that disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them", Nick Berg, Dan Pearl, Paul Johnson, Kim Dun Il, Eugene Armstrong, Raja Azad, Sajjad Naeem, decapitated by practitioners of the religion of peace "so when you meet in battle those that disbelieve, then smite the necks until you overcome them." Allah apostle "I have made victorious by terror", killing disbelievers is a small matter to us" huh good stuff in that there book of yours. Recently a Palestinian cleric proclaimed on public television that Islam would conquer the world and “subjugate the Christians and kill all the Jews.” The recently “elected” Iranian president just declared that he will “spread the Islamic revolution across the globe”. This phenomenon of the left defending radical Islam under the guise of tolerance is a shell game. Ever heard he term “bring it all down baby” this sixties leftist phrase is in reference to the fact than in order to remake the west in their Marxist scheme you will have to destroy it first. So you have an ally of convenience in radical Islam who also wants to destroy the west and recreate it. The Ironic thing is that the lefties would be the most uncomfortable creed in dhimmitude. They probably wouldn’t even survive. The left is so fervent in their hate of Christianity and Judaism that they cannot even hear the words being emitted from the mouths of the faith they protect. I will say to you Moslems out there most of your problems today are due to your intolerance of others, which you ironically demand for yourselves.

I too am keeping a blog, and if you would like to contribute to it, given that mine are simply one person's opinions, please feel free to do so.

I'm not writng "reader friendly" prose, but with a bit of patience one will see that there is a great deal of interesting information available from the historical record, even when written by Th. Hobbes, for example.

In time the point of my blog will, I hope, become clear, even through the blur of my typos: that it is a good idea that we organize ourselves into a politcal party and get such candidates for ourselves as DC Watson to run for public office in Ohio, and in time that we get Spencer running for office to Washington, D.C.

In the meantime, I write that the Left is unconsciously over-taken by fascists. Until we explain clearly the depth of the intrigue, and show it through the dry as sun bleached bones documents of history, we will face an unbelieving general population and intransigent resistence to the truth that the Left is fascist. We must redeem our values from the tiny minority extremist Left fascist dhimmis who have hijacked our liberal values. We must gather ourselves under the unbrella of a party of progressive and humane thinkers like DC Watson and Spencer and others to catpure our own agenda for our own sakes and for the sake of our future as free people. We can't rely on our current politicians, and we can't rely even on our own citizens, given the state of ignorance they live in at this time. If you have anything positive to offer, I'm happy to have you contribute. Maybe it'll do some good.
