"Africa Does Not Need The G8 Or Live 8. It Needs Khilafah!"

No, Sir Paul, "Khilafah" is not a new venue from which you can yet again regale us with "Get Back" and "Let It Be." It is the caliphate -- the Sharia state unifying the Muslim world that is the gleam in the eye of jihadists worldwide, from Osama bin Laden to Abu Bakar Bashir. This call for the caliphate (from 1924.com (1924 is the year the caliphate was abolished by Kemal Ataturk), with thanks to The One Who Must Not Be Named) is noteworthy for its combination of economic with religious arguments, reminiscent of Sayyid Qutb:

In the midst of this comes ‘Live 8’, a music concert organised by Bob Geldof and Bono, campaigning to ‘make poverty history’. Their agenda only offers legitimacy to the corruption of the Bush-Blair agenda. Commenting on the debt relief package of 11 June Geldof praised it as "a victory for the millions of people in the campaigns around the world" and Bono called it "a little piece of history". They have ignored the enforced liberalisation and privatisation conditions attached that have historically and will in future create more misery for the people of Africa. Their campaign to ‘make poverty history’ makes a superficial call for debt cancellation but ignores the systemic drive to privatise industry, open markets, and dominate Africa through capitalism. As such it can never solve the serious political and economic crisis in Africa. It colludes with the G8 governments who have simply replaced the old fashioned human slavery with modern day economic slavery. The free market has killed more people in Africa than wars have ever done, and the ‘make poverty history’ campaign mostly ignores the free market, instead focussing people on the superficial aspects of debt relief and modifications to trade rules. Socialists, who do attack capitalism, have no long term constructive solutions to offer from their godless philosophy and offer no hope for the people.

The hope for Africa and elsewhere lies in the Islamic Khilafah or Caliphate. The heritage of Africa with respect to Islam and Khilafah dates back over 1400 years. The famous Islamic historian Ibn Khaldun says that the name Ifriqiya was derived from Irfiqos bin Qais bin Saifi, a ruler of Yemen. Muslims first went as refugees to the land of al Najashi in the time of the Messenger [SAW]. Africa under Islam was not the disaster it is now.

Islam has a unique way of looking at the economy that means that wealth does not accumulate in the hands of the greedy few, and yet it does not discourage enterprise and trade. For example its company law does not allow the existence corporate monopolies that dominate and eat up smaller competitors. Trade flourished in Africa under the Khilafah and could do so again. The proof of this is that places like Zanzibar made their names as famous centres of trade during that era. Furthermore, Islam totally forbids loans with interest hence making it impossible to exploit the people through it; something that has lead to the deaths and misery of millions of innocent people. The Islamic system positively encourages wealth circulation and forbids hoarding in the hands of greedy individuals and corporations.

These things show a fundamental difference between the Islamic solution for Africa’s poverty and that of the west. The most optimistic solutions of the west to ‘make poverty history’ may cancel some debt but global capitalism will remain inherently greedy for Africa’s wealth and resources and will always concentrate it in the hands of a few. Reliance on the voluntary generosity of the few in the hope that the wealth trickle down to the masses will, as ever, fail. Islam has a system that encourages business and enterprise but obliges the state to undertake specific measures that ensure poverty is solved by distributing the wealth widely.

Kill a what?????????????????????

As early as 650 AD Arab slave traders began taking African slaves to Arabia and beyond.

(p.43 'The World's Worst Atrocities' by Nigel Cawthorne, published by Hamlyn)

Islam has had its effect on Africa, all right. In the north, the thriving agriculture, and flourishing civilization of migrants and Phoenician traders and Jews and christianized Berbers,the Other Shore of mediterranean civilization, where among others Tertullian and Augustine of Hippo came from, was destroyed by the Arab Muslim invaders, with the consequences for North Africa that we can all see. It was only in the period of French rule in Algeria, from 1830 to 1962, that agriculture was revived (including that of the vineyards), that the desertification that Arab non-methods of cultivation brought everywhere they conquered, and where universities, museums, and other outward and visible signs of civilization were established and maintained. For that moment, Algeria again possessed something like civilization -- and now it has relapsed, as of course it could be predicted it would, into a scarcely endurable and violent place, where the only hope is to get, as those chanting crowds repeated when they came out to "greet" a visiting Jacques Chirac a year or two ago: "Visa, Visa!"

What about black Africa? If you wish to see the traditional Arab Muslim treatment of black Africans, look at the 2 million dead, over the past 20 years of scarcely uninterrupted warfare and genocide, in the southern Sudan. If you wish to see the traditional Arab Muslim treatment of black African Muslims, prompted by the Arab supremacist ideology that Islam carries within it, and that does not admit of non-Arabs being as "fully Muslim" as the Arabs, look at Darfur, through the lenses even of Nicholas Kristof.

If you seek other examples, look at the unceasing pressure of Muslims in northern Nigeria on the Christians of southern Nigeria, and read again the Ahiara Declaration of Col. Ojukwu, in 1969, the leader of the Biafran Nation, where advanced Christians, chiefly but not entirely Ibo, sought independence as a way of protecting themselves from the "Jihad" (Col. Ojukwu's carefully-chosen word) being waged against them.

If you seek other evidence for what Islam, what Arabs, have meant for black Africa, do take a moment to read Willis on the Arab slavers of Africa, and the Arab slave trade that began earlier, and ended later (where it ended at all) in black Africa. Do read Jan Hogedoorn's article "The Hideous Trade" about the Arab slave trade, which was far more ruthless and genocidal in its effects, for the Arabs liked particularly to seize young boys, who were castrated on the spot, and if they survived the initial primitive surgery, were forced to endure a long trip overland, through the bush, to arrive either by land or by dhow in one of the Muslim slave entrepots, Cairo or Jeddah or Muscat, Damascus or Baghdad or Constantinople or Algiers, or even distant Smyrna. Hogedoorn offers a complicated economic analysis of why the castration was done on the spot, which caused so many, on their subsequent forced march, to die. He estimates that only 10% of those castrated survived the trip in coffle or caravan to be sold in the Arab and Muslim slave-markets.

And while we are at it, let us remind ourselves that slavery was never really abolished, except in theory, in many Arab states. Tens of thousands of blacks still are enslaved in the Sudan, in Mali, in Mauritania -- and their masters are exclusively Muslim and Arab. Though slavery was officially abolished in Saudi Arabia, out of a desire to placate those pesky Infidels (before OPEC gave the Saudis the power to ignore them) in 1962, it continues still, as can be deducted from certain advertisements in the Saudi press (a kind of Saudi version of the Yankee Swop, where a Yyoung girl" will be traded for a "late-model American used car." What would a Yard Sale of cast-off slave girls look like?).

There never was a Muslim William Wilberforce. Slavery is in the Qur'an, and Muslim clerics in Saudi Arabia have expressly reasserted that slavery is right, is just, cannot be ended because it is part of the practice of those, Muhammad and His Companions, whose sayings, acts, attitudes, silences, give Muslim believers the Sunna, not merely a secondary source of Islamic doctrine, but one for many at least as important as the Qur'an.

Oh, one could go on all day about what Islam has done to Africa. But don't ask me. Ask a black, non-Muslim African -- one who has some direct experience, possibly by living in an Arab country, of what Islma is all about, and what it has done to black Africa. You might find someone who remembers the slave-trade conducted from Zanzibar and Pemba, now part of Tanzania, where the Arab Muslims are again displaying their wonted master-race attitudes.

The Sudan was scarcely 10% Arab in 1900; now it is at least 50%. How do you think this happened?Did the Dinka, did the Nuer, cease to have children? How did this demographic change take place? In West Africa, aside from the Sokoto Jihad, what caused Islam to expand at the expense of Christians? What caused a frightened Nigerian female journalist to suddenly leave her country a year or two ago, when during the Miss World brouhaha (Muslim protests, which caused the event to be moved) she mentioned Muhammad's appreciation for pulchritude, and received for her admittedly silly sally death threats in return?

Why was it that it was only the French who ended the slave trade in North Africa? And why was it -- see J. B. Kelly, Britain and the Persian Gulf, 1795-1880, that only the British, using naval power (and staying carefully away from the interior of Arabia) managed to suppress the slave trade in East Africa, becuase not a single Muslim Arab had the slightest moral qualms about it -- nor does today. If it was good enough for Muhammad, if it is in the Qur'an, well then who is to object to slavery?

There is much more one could write. One could go on, and on. But this is more than enough to provide a little grist, for a little mill, one that grinds exceeding slow -- but it does grind.

Yes, one can see just how well wealth is shared in the Islamic countries of the Middle Eest, particularly Saudi Arabia. And, of course, Arafish really didn't have billions of aid dollars salted away in Swiss Bank accounts.....

Anyone who believes this line is too stupid to live.

Hugh writes:

The Sudan was scarcely 10% Arab in 1900; now it is at least 50%.

Out of curiosity I looked up the current population info online:

From: CIA World Factbook - page last updated on 14 June, 2005

Religions

Sunni Muslim 70% (in north),
indigenous beliefs 25%,
Christian 5% (mostly in south and Khartoum)

Ethnic Groups

black 52%,
Arab 39%,
Beja 6%,
foreigners 2%,
other 1%

And people wonder why I do not support African famine relief efforts?

That might sound heartless, but believe me, it is not a mindless conclusion.

Excuse me if I do not wish to support a continent that will fall the the ultimate reign of Islam in the near future and add to its armies and suicide weapons that will stand against the West.

It is the caliphate -- the Sharia state unifying the Muslim world that is the gleam in the eye of jihadists worldwide, from Osama bin Laden to Abu Bakar Bashir.
Robert

I just wanted to inject a different perspective. The following is found in
http://www.tomdispatch.com/index.mhtml?pid=4481
===
Bush officials continue to link Zarqawi to the Iraqi resistance -- undoubtedly another bogus claim in that the resistance in Iraq is primarily composed of Iraqi nationalists and Baathist elements who are fighting to expel the occupiers from their country, not to create a global Islamic jihad.
===

May be the oppressed Muslims in different parts of the world are developing resistance to their economic / political/ or military oppressors. Are we creating the global jihad where none exists?

Wealth does not accumulate in the hands of the greedy few, my sides are still splitting over that little gem or ignorance..., thats it Africa add the rule of Islam to your misfortunes, the power of life and death over you all and do not forget that Islamics love death.

These things show a fundamental difference between the Islamic solution for Africa’s poverty and that of the west.

Yeh, Camel economics, the Islamic solution.

2/3rds of the worlds poorest people live in Islamic countries. Despite their oil wealth not one of the top 30 wealthy countries are Muslim.

All Arab countries combined, factoring out oil exports, produce less exports than tiny Finland.

Egypt prior to the Muslim conquest was the breadbasket of Europe.

Algeria before De Gaule caved into the FLN was a net exporter of food and the breadbasket of France, now it is a net importer of food.

This is not a racist rant, but third world countries (including South and Central America) are third world countries because of one thing.. their culture. Their attitudes towards life, others, self and their values and ethics.

The G-8 can privatize and cancel debt forever, but it will do no good, it just resets the clock and the process starts anew.

What needs to be changed is culture and attitudes, otherwise these countries will be perpertual interantional welfare cases, just as the emigrants from these countries to the west become perperual welfare cases.

Culture is not race. Take a look at converts to Islam like Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) and the many converts with whom I interact and quarrel on the internet. They become cultural Arabs, and shed their western identity, values and ways.

Any criticism at all of anything Arab, including slavery and genocide in Sudan, is met with defensive manuevers by these Arabized gentiles. And the Arab modus operandi of defense is to go on the attack as there is nothing to defend in an ideology considered to be perfected and perfect.

The ideal solution is of course to seal them off like Somalia, unfortunately they all have some natural resource which is needed by the world and can be exploited and sold on the world market.

But I do blame the international financials institutions and global corporations who privatize their resources, because the infusion of debt and money is nothing more than a counterproductive form of life support.

The patient would have died long ago, were it not for life support from the globalists and international financial institutions.

"The heritage of Africa with respect to Islam and Khilafah dates back over 1400 years"

Well if length of time on a Continent is an argument in favor of embracing a religion or ideology, then Christianity in Africa dates back to the apostle, Philip, baptizing Queen Candace's eunuch who was returning to Ethiopia from his visit to Jerusalem and reading the Torah when Philip encountered his slave borne litter. That means the Black African eunuch was a Jew and during the trip Philip evangelized and he received baptism as a Christian. And we know Jews were in Egypt since the time of Joseph.
Sorry Islam, you are a newbie!

Check this out and read closely Islamic Economics

Notice how the Muslims claim that their method of lending money is superior to the West, as they have supposedly zero percent interest, however what the Islamic banker does in reality is front load the interest, includes it in the total amount to be loaned, and that means that a person cannot pay off the loan early and save the interest paid.

Which I have been doing. I just paid off a 30 year mortgage in two years and saved a bundle, paid off two cars two years early and saved more, and will be paying off a large mortgage 22 years early and will save hundreds of thousands in interest.

None of which I could have done under Islamic Banking, as I would have had to borrow principal plus interest up front.

Oh yes they charge interest, just load it up front and disguise it as fee for service, actually a more dishonest method than pay as you go interest.

Honesty and Islam are oil and water.

If it was good enough for Muhammad, if it is in the Qur'an, well then who is to object to slavery?
Hugh

Currently the “War on Terrorism” is waged on two fronts: Afghanistan, and Iraq. What do we do when we subdue the enemy? We take them as “prisoners of war – POW.” As per the Holy Quran, the taking of POW was sanctioned to Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, only from among all the Prophets, peace be upon them. The other religionists might correct me is the Holy Torah allows POW or stipulates the killing of the enemy. Quoting the Holy Quran, we have:
===
8:67 It is not fitting for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of the world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: and Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.
8:68 Had it not been for a previous ordainment from Allah, a severe penalty would have reached you for the (ransom) that ye took.
8:69 But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, lawful and good: but fear Allah: for Allah is Oft – Forgiving, Most Merciful.
===

The alternative to the POW is to kill the enemy. Thus, Islam takes a person as a slave instead of killing the individual. The ransom talked of in 8:68 is the “release-money” paid by the Quraish to get their captives released back to freedom to join them back in Makkah. Some among these people returned to fight with the Muslims later.

How does a Muslim treat the slave in his custody? Tradition numbered 984 from Al-Tirmidhi collection says:
===
Narrated AbuBakr as-Siddiq
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "One who treats badly those under his authority will not enter Paradise." He was asked whether he had not told them that these people had more slaves and orphans than any other, and replied, "Yes, so treat them as generously as you treat your children and give them food from what you eat." They then asked what benefit they acquired from the world, and he replied, "A horse which you equip for riding it to fight in Allah's cause, and a slave who serves you sufficiently; and when he prays he is your brother."
Transmitted by Ibn Majah.
===

Islam demands that a POW / slave be treated on par with a member of the family. What happens to the slave? Is the slave to remain a slave for life?

Tradition 88A from Fiqh-us-Sunnah throws some light on this issue.
===
The Best Present for the Deceased
Ibn al-Qayyim said, "The best present for the deceased is an act that is most beneficial to people, for example, freeing a slave.Thus a sadaqah giving in charity is better than fasting on behalf of the deceased. The best charity is that which fulfills someone's need and is continuous. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "The best charity is to give people a drink of water." This applies to a place where water is scarce. Otherwise, giving someone a drink of water from a river or a canal would not be better than feeding the hungry who need food. Likewise, supplication and asking forgiveness for the deceased is beneficial to the deceased, especially when the supplicant is sincere, earnest, and humble in his supplication. Such a supplication is better than charity, just as regular prayer (salah) is better than the funeral prayer and than supplicating for the deceased by his grave.

In general, the best gift to send the deceased is freeing a slave, giving in charity, asking forgiveness for him or her, and making the Hajj (pilgrimage) on his or her behalf.
===

If freeing of a slave is the best charity, how many would retain a slave? Tradition 681 in Volume 3 of Sahih Al-Bukhari is quoted below:
===
Narrated Ibn Umar
The Prophet said, "Whoever manumits his share of a jointly possessed slave, it is imperative on him to manumit the slave completely if he has sufficient money to pay the rest of its price which is to be estimated justly. He should pay his partners their shares and release him (the freed one)."
===

Tradition 737 in Volume 3 of Sahih-Al-Bukhari illustrates another aspect of treating a slave.
===
Narrated Aisha
Buraira came (to 'Aisha) and said, "I have made a contract of emancipation with my masters for nine Uqiyas (of gold) to be paid in yearly installments. Therefore, I seek your help." 'Aisha said, "If your masters agree, I will pay them the sum at once and free you on condition that your Wala' will be for me." Buraira went to her masters but they refused that offer. She (came back) and said, "I presented to them the offer but they refused, unless the Wala' was for them." Allah's Apostle heard of that and asked me about it, and I told him about it. On that he said, "Buy and manumit her and stipulate that the Wala' should be for you, as Wala' is for the liberator." 'Aisha added, "Allah's Apostle then got up amongst the people, glorified and praised Allah, and said, 'Then after: What about some people who impose conditions which are not present in Allah's laws? So, any condition which is not present in Allah's laws is invalid even if they were one-hundred conditions. Allah's ordinance is the truth, and Allah's condition is stronger and more solid. Why do some men from you say, O so-and-so! manumit the slave but the Wala' will be for me? Verily, the Wala' is for the liberator.' "

Islam has worked to abolish slavery as far as practicable. It is unfortunate that some project Islam in a bad light.

Mohideen,

Enslaving another human being is immoral, no matter how "kindly" the master treats the slave.

When you apologize for slavery and pretend that somehow it's not as bad a violation of human rights as we know it is, you merely remind all of us here how far behind the civilized world the Islamic mindset truly is.

You don't need to either make slaves of POWs or "kill them". And you don't need to have sex with the female ones, either, as the Koran allows and even encourages.

You're just putting a happy face on a disgusting set of views. Human beings are not a commodity to be bought and sold like animals or bales of hay. Period.

"The free market has killed more people in Africa than wars have ever done"

hardly, Islam has killed more people in Africa than all the natural disasters in the entire history of the world, and continues to do so.
Africa needs to be rid of Islam once and for all.

125 billion of foriegn aid goes "missing' falling into the hands of murdering Islamic regimes which then funnel that money to Russia Germany and France for weaponry in order to continue it's genocide.

ALL aid should STOP, until these Islamic fundamentalist butchers are taken out once and for all, and African people freed from the horror they live in under them.

"Islam has worked to abolish slavery as far as practicable."
-- from a posting above

Gosh, what's standing in the way? With all the unearned wealth in the world, the Saudis alone, the House of Al-Saud alone, a few Saudi princelings one, one Saudi princeling alone just foregoing his season ticket to a Paris brothel, could buy the freedo of all sorts of blacks enslaved by Arabs in Mali, Mauritania, the Sudan -- and let's not forget "Saudi" Arabia itself.

Perhaps what is standing in the way, aside from the notorious greed of the Al-Saud, the Saudis, the oil Arabs and Muslims (you don't see them listening to Master Geldof, or sending any aid that isn't mosque-bound, to black Africa or anywhere else, now do you?), is the Qur'an, the Hadith, and the Sira, that describe slavery in 7th century Arabia, that therefore -- by describing it -- endorse it, for if it was good enough for Muhammad, uswa hasana, al-insan al-kamil, not to mention the rest of the group, the Companions, who also owned slaves.

That's it. Slavery is legal, allowed, permissible in Islam. It cannot be banned, except insofar as this is done to promote the image of Islam among Infidels, whenever and wherever that should prove temporarily necessary, because for now, in some places, those Infidels are still too powerful.

End of story. End of fable. End of the Thousand-and-One-Nights routine. Dawn has arrived, or at least the dawning truth -- and we can't continue to be fooled, not in the cold light of this particular day.

"Islam has worked to abolish slavery as far as practicable. It is unfortunate that some project Islam in a bad light."

What a bold faced LIE. Slavery is alive and well in Africa, at the hands of Islam.
Slavery was entrenched in Islam by Muhammad for all time. Obviously you don't know your koran very well.

Bukhari:V5B59N512 “The captives of Khaybar were divided among the Muslims.[to be raped and/or become slaves] Then the Messenger began taking the homes and property that were closest to him.”

Tabari VIII:116/Ishaq:511 “So Muhammad began seizing their herds and their property bit by bit. He conquered home by home. The Messenger took some of its people captive, [enslaved] including Safiyah and her two cousins. The Prophet chose Safiyah for himself.” [to rape and enslave]

Ishaq:511 “When Dihyah protested, wanting to keep Safiyah for himself, the Apostle traded for Safiyah by giving Dihyah her two cousins. The women of Khaybar were distributed among the Muslims.” [slaves are traded]

Ishaq:592 “The Apostle held a large number of captives. There were 6,000 women and children SLAVES!

Tabari VIII:38 “The Messenger divided the wealth, wives, and children of the Banu Qurayza Jews among the Muslims.” SLAVES!

Tabari IX:28 “The Muslims were concerned. They did not want to give up their share. So Muhammad said, ‘He who holds a share of these captives shall get six camels for every slave from the next booty we take.’ So the Muslims returned the women and children captives.”

According to Muhammad, his imaginary rock god named allah made booty and slavery lawful and good for all time.

I guess any crook, bandit, rapist and murderer would like a god that made crime " lawful and good" wouldn't they...

Hell, Mullahmasher... ...over the last couple of years, wealthy Saudis residing in the US have been charged with keeping southeast Asian domestics as unpaid, and horribly abused slaves.

Mohideen Ibramsha is just a sad, silly mo-bot, far too indoctrinated to deal with facts.

From the article;

"Islam has a unique way of looking at the economy that means that wealth does not accumulate in the hands of the greedy few, and yet it does not discourage enterprise and trade."

That's a good one. Here's more: Islam has a unique way of encouraging science and industry, too. Yes! -- in fact, Muslims lead the world in scientific accomplishments, and all the great captains of industry have been Muslims. And did you know that the world's best hospitals are in Muslim countries? S'true! -- it's because all the world's best doctors are there, to say nothing of the miraculous Islamic medical research facilities. And did you also know that the world's greatest artists all lived in Muslim countries? No?!?! good grief! -- all the greatest film makers, writers, musicians, dancers, painters, sculptors -- all Muslims working in Islamic countries! I could go on, for it's the same incredible story in every field of human endeavor -- no matter if it's agriculture, technology, industry, finance, philosophy, religion, military, athletics, science -- Islam leads them all, and has ever since its glorious founding, and with no help and no thanks whatsoever from the wicked, ungrateful infidels.

Islam -- it's perfect.

Believe it or else.

...Oh yes they charge interest, just load it up front and disguise it as fee for service, actually a more dishonest method than pay as you go interest....

It's so typical of Islam, deceive yourself. A rose by any other name. Fees, interest, it's all the same, the cost of borrowing. That's why when on disclosures they give you the 'real' interest, it is always higher than the interest on the loan base. It all those other fees that increase the 'real' interest. Every business school graduate and most everyone I know knows this. Such foolishness. Trying to get the 7th century to fit on top of a 21st century world can be a lesson in distortion and lunacy.

...."Islam has a unique way of looking at the economy that means that wealth does not accumulate in the hands of the greedy few, ...

Tell that to the Ayatollah and his cronies! LOL

Bukhari:V5B59N512 “The captives of Khaybar were divided among the Muslims.[to be raped and/or become slaves] Then the Messenger began taking the homes and property that were closest to him.”
Mullahmasher

The authentic version of the above Tradition numbered 512 in Volume 5 of Sahih Al-Bukhari as given in ALIM CD is:
===
Narrated Anas
The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer near Khaibar when it was still dark and then said, "Allahu-Akbar! Khaibar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned." Then the inhabitants of Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives. She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet . The Prophet made her manumission as her 'Mahr'.
===

Mother Safiya, Allah be pleased with her, was indeed taken as a captive, but she was given freedom, and she became the wife of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Is that bad?

All the other collections (Tabari, Ishaq) are not authentic and thus they do not deserve to be commented upon.

"Islam has a unique way of looking at the economy that means that wealth does not accumulate in the hands of the greedy few, and yet it does not discourage enterprise and trade."

What absolute nonsense, the Muslim world is completely dominated by obscenely wealthy, corrupt aristocracies/religious leaders. Poor people in the evil capitalistic, impierialistic United States live like Saudi royalty compared to the average Muslim in the street.

Mohideen-

Yes, being forced to have sex and bear children against your will is bad. It is called rape.

Using humans as a commodity that can be bought, sold, and traded is also bad. It is called slavery.

Both these practices are vile.

We fought a little war here in the US to get rid of slavery. We will fight another if ANYONE tries to bring that disgusting practice back to our shores.

I pity those who live under Islam if they can't understand these basic facts of good and evil.

That 'distribute the wealth' plan sure works well in their bastion of Qur'anic purity, Saudi Arabia.

And notice how much they donated to their fellow Muslims in Asia after the Tsunami last Christmas.

They play a siren song of Islam as they stab you in the back, pick your pocket and call it paradise.

As Saint P.T. Barnum put it:

"There's a sucker born every minute."

The only antidote is to throw their happy horsesh*t back in their sanctimonious faces, fast.

And use the facts from astringent reality to keep the gullible for falling for this Utopian piffle.

What a tragedy. Islam’s foremost victims are bowing down of their own free well. Their ancestors, even in chains and utter humiliation, have instituted many slave rebellions that threatened even the caliphate in Baghdad. My Brothers, the Nubian people, successfully defended themselves and held on to the end for almost 700 years, while Islamic armies trampled seemingly mightier empires. In fact, it would have been impossible for Islam to sweep many parts of Africa, until white greed opened a windfall for Islam of money and modern weaponry to complete the conquest, of course in exchange for slaves and African products. The Europeans muddied the waters further when they came to Africa as colonists and enlisted Muslim soldiers and rulers, thereby extending the Muslim sphere of influence over territories which Islam has not been able to control in the past. A notable example is Edie Amin of Uganda whose father came from Sudan with the British Army.

The longing for the taskmaster’s chain and the webbing post.

Apparently, our chocolate tanned brothers and sisters have a deep longing for the good old days when the island of Zanzibar was the biggest slave exportation station in the world under Arab Islamic rule, long before the evil white man founded the plantation system in America. I guess standing in a long line of your fellow men waiting to be held down for castration and a future career as a Guardian of the harem still has its oriental charm… That is, if one managed to survive the complete removal of one’s entire genitalia without the benefit of anesthesia or hygiene, only to be left with a ridiculous feather on one’s turban to open up the constructed slit covering the opening of the urethra. Let us not forget the equal opportunity continual rape by the Arab masters. After all, the founder of their religion (that was forced on them) has so honored them by describing them as “raisin heads”, and when asked to describe the appearance of the devil, he pointed to his slave, a member of their race, how glorious for them. Also, in most Arab countries the word used for a black man is “abed” or slave, and the plural form is “abeed” or slaves. For them Islam is really the gift that keeps on giving.

I guess it had not dawned on the dearly departed, Mr. Malcolm Chabaz X, to take a look around Mecca and Medina while performing the Hajj and notice the droves of slaves and former slaves, liberated after they outlived their use to beg around the shrines, before he came back to America to tell the world about the brotherhood of all races, which he found in Islam… All praises be to Allah. Good luck to the pious Zanzibari people… It seem with the rates of conversion of their kindred in America while incrassated, they will soon share in the bounty of Allah and the title of “abeed” by their more fair skinned coreligionists.

Yes, being forced to have sex and bear children against your will is bad. It is called rape.

True. A husband can not force himself even on his wife. Tradition numbered 460 in Volume 4 of Sahih Al-Bukhari is quoted in support.
===
Narrated Abu Huraira
Allah's Apostle said, "If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning."
===

Please observe that the husband calls and she has to go and not the other way during the night. If a husband can not have sex even with his wife unless she consents, how can a master have sex with his slave without her consent? Only consensual sex is permitted.

Even a bride could refuse to have sex with the groom; and the groom divorces her. Evidence: Tradition numbered 181, Volume 7 of Sahih Al-Bukhari

Narrated Al Awza
I asked Az-Zuhri, "Which of the wives of the Prophet sought refuge with Allah from him?" He said "I was told by 'Ursa that 'Aisha said, 'When the daughter of Al-Jaun was brought to Allah's Apostle (as his bride) and he went near her, she said, "I seek refuge with Allah from you." He said, "You have sought refuge with The Great; return to your family."
===

The above Tradition clearly establishes that Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, never indulged in non-consensual sex. As Muslims are to follow in the example of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, no Muslim can indulge in non-consensual sex.

What is the benefit of these Verses of the Holy Quran?
===
23:5 Who abstain from sex,
23:6 except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess – for (in their case) they are free from blame.
23:7 But those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors
===

Islam limits the circle of females who can be approached for sex by a male. The captives are there only due to war, and not otherwise. (We pray to Allah that the Khilafath is granted and thus the war becomes a thing of the past. There is no global conquest in Islam, as described elsewhere in this site.) It is a protection for the women that they are assigned guardians from among the victorious males, instead of being left to fend for themselves often resulting in prostitution. Between the system of prostitution and that of supportive slavery, slavery is by for dignified to the destitute women.

Please remember that all sex, even with own wife, has to be consensual. Rape has no place in Islam.

Using humans as a commodity that can be bought, sold, and traded is also bad. It is called slavery.
Treehugger

A captive from the defeated population is a slave. A master is expected to treat a slave well, like a member of his family as explained earlier. What is a master to do if a slave causes trouble? Are we to punish them until they behave? No. The better option is to sell them so that they get a master under whom they might be contented. We quote Tradition numbered 2448 of Sunan Abu Dawood in support.
===
Narrated AbuDharr
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Feed those of your slaves who please you from
what you eat and clothe them with what you clothe yourselves, but sell those who do not
please you and do not punish Allah's creatures.
===

So, the captives are not commodities to be bought and sold as art pieces.
