More on a story we have posted about before, from MEMRI, with thanks to Mackie:
On July 2, 2005, Al-Arabiya TV broadcast a report on an Iranian movement of suicide bombers with the aim of targeting Americans in Iraq and Israel. The volunteers said they wanted to carry out martyrdom operations to liberate Islamic lands and stated that so far 40,000 "time bombs" have been recruited. To view this clip, visit http://www.memritv.org/Search.asp?ACT=S9&P1=736 .According to the chairman and spokesman of The World Islamic Organization's Headquarters for Remembering the Shahids, Mohammad 'Ali Samedi, his organization began recruiting suicide bombers about a year and a half ago, as reported by MEMRI last year.(1) Since then, he has engaged in organizing conventions, registering volunteer suicide bombers online, and providing guidance and training for martyrdom operations.
The organization's supporters, and those participating in its activities, include public figures, such as veteran MP Mahdi Kuchak-Zadeh, from the prominent conservative party Coalition of Iran's Developers (Abadgoran) which backed Iranian President-Elect Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad and Revolutionary Guards officers such as General Salami, head of The Revolutionary Guards Headquarters for Strategic Operations.
No surprises. This is happening almost all over the world-Anti Americanism.US has done good work for the world a million times more than bad work.
Incited Iranian Civil War with U.S. Troop support should take care of that problem soon enough. Just look at a map if you still don't realize that Iran is between our thumb and first finger right now and we're ready to squeeze.
I am going to say a prayer now.....
I hope all 40,000 muslims are able to strap themselves with bombs and all the bombs go off prematurly and wipe out other homicide volenteers. I would love to turn on the news and see savages blowing up other savages because G-d just got pissed.
Amen
That 40,000 number seems exagerated, we know Muslims aren't above exagerating numbers, but still...
Here's Prayin' its exagerated.
Im pretty confident it is exagerated...lets not forget Islams 1st means of spreading its filth into the world is through propaganda and fear.
A la Enigma, if we could crack the code for "explode" in persian, maybe we could get these sumbags to blowup their supreme council of guardians and the presidential palace, eh?
I know, but hey, a guy can dream, can't he...
So 40,000 people who would rather be dead than live in Iran.
(As with most "ancient" estimates of battle figures, you subtract one zero to get closer to the truth.)
BTW-
Speaking of "ancient", I heard a BBC reporter today (on the morning NPR broadcast that carries the Brit radio news) who mentioned that, in India, there was a dispute over the site of "an ancient mosque" -where the Ayodhia temple of the native Hindus originally sat.
Now, there is no such thing as an "ancient mosque". ("Ancient" refers to the time period before the destruction of the Roman Empire, circa 476 A.D., as decided upon by historians. Islam began, in earnest, about two centuries later, thus, nothing about Islam can be considered "ancient".)
Don't they check the intellectual credentials of BBC reporters any more? (Or have editors scan their copy?) By his ignorance of the actual meaning of words, he has (calculatingly?) given greater historical 'weight' and 'spiritual cachet' to the claim of the Muslim invaders of India for their (since destroyed) "Babri" mosque's siting. While the Hindu temple (that the medieval Muslims destroyed to replace with the mosque) was itself truly "ancient".
I didn't catch the slipshod reporter's name, but, if I had, I would email the BBC to ask that he broadcast a clarifcation and be chided on air by John Cleese for 'sloppiness unbecoming the once classically-strict traditions of the Beeb'.
The gist of his report was about 6 [unnamed] terrorists who invaded the RAM temple site but were killed by Hindu forces.
Good work, men.
(*a mosque that was destroyed by Hindu religious nationalists who claimed it had been purposely placed on a site sacred to the Hindu god RAM.)
The bombers can be armed and ready...when they are deployed and start blowing up, the US and Israel should consider that an act of war by Iran and respond appropriatly...
