A jihadist group posting on an Islamic website calls the British "infidels" and "enemies of God." One of the suicide bombers from the 7/7 bombings is called a "good Muslim" who wanted to wage jihad. And Muslims in Britain are still blandly asserting that this has "nothing to do with Islam." How long will this state of denial persist?

A statement posted Friday on an Islamic website in the name of an al-Qaeda-linked group claimed responsibility for latest blasts targeting London's transport system.The group, Abu Hafs al Masri Brigade, also claimed responsibility for the July 7 bombings which killed 52 people and four suicide bombers....
"Our strikes in the depths of the capital of the British infidels our only a message to other European governments that we will not relent and sit idle before the infidel soldiers will leave the land of the two rivers," said the statement....
"While we bless these strikes, our next attacks will be Hellish for the enemies of God," said the latest statement.
"We will strike in the hearts of European capitals, in Rome, in Amsterdam and in Denmark where their soldiers are in still in Iraq pursuing their British and American masters," the statement added.
The Abu Hafs al Masri Brigades are named after the alias given to Mohammed Atef, Osama bin Laden's top deputy who was killed in a U.S. air strike in Afghanistan in November, 2001.
Experts have said that the group has no proven track record of attacks, and note it has claimed responsibility for events in which it was unlikely to have played any role, such as the 2003 blackouts in the United States and London that resulted from technical problems.

You know Tone, the Romans had the right idea. During the days of the Republic in times of national crisis (like Hannibal popping over the Alps) they would appoint a Dictator for the duration of the crisis. He had absolute power (except for raising taxes oddly enough, no fools the Romans). When the crisis was over the dictator would resign (like Cincinnatus who wisely went back to his farm).
A good Roman dictator would recall parliament, close the borders to Muslims (yes Muslims), bring back the death penalty for treason and terrorist killing, detain and/or deport anyone who is suspected of involvement with terrorists, repatriate all Moslems who do not condemn terrorism in all forms (and don't get fobbed off by the condemnation of killing 'innocent civilians', the weasly bastards have interesting definitions for 'innocent') and maybe even consider repatriating all Muslims (on balance not making much of a contribution to the economy and culture of Britain and how much is all this extra policing and security going to cost).
The enemy is here and it's called Islam. Time to wake up Tone.
And by the way I supported the war in Iraq. I thought it was right to go in there and get that bastard because he had WMD etc. Yes, I bought your bullshit hook, line and sinker.

i am speculating why the second set of bombs did not go off.
it is beleived that the explosive is home made and of the same type as that used two weeks ago.
If it is a different batch then clearly the formulation may be off and that may be because the "chemist" is not available.
Alternatively, two weeks of sitting around and misshandling has made the home-made formulation go off, caused it to swet or the formulation may be hydroscopic.

Bishop Vasilije's Ode to Nemanja
The Cetinje Chronicles (Krusovulj) is a collection of manuscripts. Some manuscripts are transcriptions of documents issued in the time of last rulers of medieval Zeta, the Crnojevics, and some are transcriptions from the post-Crnojevic era. The most important manuscripts were written by Bishop Vasilije Petrovic Njegos while last inscriptions dated in 1809 were deed of Bishop Petar I Petrovic Njegos.
Krusovulj witnesses that political struggle of Montenegrins was inspired with the glory of the Nemanjics and medieval Serb Empire. The idea was more than visible in political work of Bishop Vasilije Petrovic Njegos (1750-1766). Such inspiration bore a poem dedicated to founder of the medieval Serb dynasty of the Nemanjics - Stefan Nemanja.

Our mortal enemy did not want after my appeals to give up of further bloodshed and leave our unfortunate brothers Highlanders, but I have faith in Almighty God that you will today disgracefully expel cruel devil from our boundary. He recruited unnumbered army but his army is miserable and weak, and more than anything else - God's might will help us.
