Earlier, it was revealed al-Qaeda threatened to launch attacks in Europe in an internet warning posted five weeks before the London terrorist bombings that British intelligence services claimed to have no knowledge about.But the Spanish secret service only forwarded the May 29 message to Britain's MI5 spy agency at the weekend - two days after the attacks.
The Spanish national intelligence centre, called CNI, sent a copy of the Arabic-language message - signed by "Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades - European division" - on Saturday to MI5, according to Spain's El Mundo newspaper.
The same group - named after an al-Qaeda leader who was killed in Afghanistan - claimed responsibility for the Madrid train bombings of March 11 last year, in which 191 people died, and twin bombings in Istanbul in November 2003 that killed 63 people.
The message, entitled "Letter to mujahedeen in Europe", states in part: "We now call on the mujahedeen around the world to launch the expected attack". Spanish intelligence officials believe this was a reference to the London attacks.
The revelation came as it emerged the severed head of a man had been found near the bus torn apart at Tavestock Place in the London bombings, strengthening suspicions that a suicide bomber was behind the blast. Suicide attacks in Israel have shown that a head is often the only remnant of a suicide bomber.
London's Daily Telegraph reported yesterday that the head found near the bus had almost certainly been blown out of the upper deck, where a rucksack-sized bomb is believed to have been planted on a seat.
One passenger who got off the bus just before the explosion had noticed a nervous young man behaving oddly on the bus and frequently dipping into a bag at his feet.
Apparently there has been an arrest in London. Further, it has ben reported that 4 of the men responsible for the London attack died during the blasts.
I can hear it now:
"But he was such a nice man....."
"There is no way he could have done this....."
"We are taken completely by surprise, he never spoke of supporting these sort of attacks..."

This is gruesome, but the head is generally blown off and in pretty good condition, so identification of the bomber should be no problem.
Here in Canada the Khadr family has made it clear that the children are ordered to kill the infidels through Jihad,the Mommy-dearest boasted
about the 9/11 Muslims slaughtering 24 Canadians and hope her kids would do the same to show their love for Allah and follow the commands in the Quran to make the world Islamic run under Shariah law.
At the same time our Liberal Government tells us there's nothing to worry about
even though several Senate Committees inquiries

This was in 1985 and after 20 years and 100,000,000 dollars for Lawyers,RCMP,CSIS,and all the workers connected to this investigation and trial, only two Sikhs were brought to Court
to stand trial and because they killed or threatened most of the witnesses the Judge ruled them Not-Guilty based on the 20 year old evidence and vague memories of witnesses.
Compare this to the London murders by Muslims on 07/07/05,Police have arrested one person and now have connected three Muslims to the suicide bombings and this is only after 4 days.
I really doubt the Canadian Government knows or even cares about the level of threats by Muslims that have a bloodlust to slaughter all infidels for Allah,for three years now I have avoided using the Subway system and after last years
case of a Egyptian Muslim making a video of the busiest station in Toronto's transit line I know feel my concerns were well-founded and ignoring the tripe about Islam and Peace was a wise move.
