(JTA) - A Palestinian-American student accused of planning to engage in terrorist activities waived his right to a court hearing.Arwah Jaber of Fayetteville, Ark., is charged with planning to travel to the West Bank to engage in jihad against Israel. His attorney announced the waiver Tuesday.
Explaining to a professor why he couldn't graduate on time, Jaber wrote, "I decided to take an honorable job in Palestine with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Organization to pursue a more noble cause freedom, justice and peace for the Palestinians and to fight the Israeli terrorism."
Which fight against terrorism, of course, includes blowing up civilians on buses and in restaurants.

No one should be surprised. Jihad in some form is inevitable for Muslims. Instead of focusing on violent Jihad, we should concern ourselves with the other forms: Da'wa, infiltration into universities and schools, the economy, government services and into the corridors of power. Infiltration into these institutions will cause greater harm.
I am encouraged that whoever reported him knew what he was hearing and it was acted upon...

Land for Peace = Death for Jews.
The upcoming Gaza expulsion of the Jews doesn't seem to be making the arabs like Israel, now does it?
Perhaps Israel needs to make a few more "good will gestures" to the moslems. Release a few more jailed terrorists, give away some more land, withdraw a few more troops, give moslems easier access to enter Jewish towns and cities, let them freely carry fire arms, pay them some reparations, give them right of return, concede Jerusalem, and offer to have all Jews thrown into the sea.
Israel's labor government will certainly consider this "road map to peace", with the understanding that without the "humiliation of occupation" the moslems will finally like Jews. They always seem to be happiest, after all, when Jews are killed so if Israel offers up some tender Jewish meat the moslems will be so joyous they will undoubtedly declare an end to all violence.
Insanity: To do the same thing over and over again expecting there to be a different result.
