This man has lived in Sweden since he was 18. Now how and where would he get the idea that Osama was a hero? Why didn't they tell him at his local mosque that to have such a hero was to place himself out of the bounds of Islam? They didn't because it doesn't. The 39-year old Swede suspected of involvement in the London bombings has said that Sweden would be “punished” if he was handed over to a foreign power.The man, who is originally from Lebanon, has lived in Sweden since he was 18. In an interview with Dagens Nyheter last October, he denied that he had met Osama Bin Laden but said that he “loved him”.
“I am proud of Osama bin Laden. I am proud of everyone who wages war for justice.”
The man also told Dagens Nyheter that he thought the September 11th attacks against the United States were “very good.”
The man refuted accusations that he had been at a terrorist training camp in Oregon in 1999. He admitted, however, that he had lived with Abu Hamza, a controversial Muslim preacher at the Finsbury Park mosque in London, who is currently awaiting trial in Britain on terrorism and race-hate charges.
The Swedish man says that he lived with one-eyed, hook-handed Hamza “for medical reasons, as a nurse.”
The man, who is described by the FBI as “very dangerous”, denies that he was involved in the London attacks of July 7th. In an interview published by Expressen on Friday, he says that he has not left Sweden in the past three years.
Responding to reports that he had flown to the United States in 1999 in the company of Haroon Rashid, suspected mastermind of the London bombings, the man said he does not know who Rashid is, and has never met him.
While denying involvement in the London bombings, the man said that the suicide bombers who attacked three underground trains and a bus were “martyrs,” adding that he hoped also to become a martyr one day.
“They are not terrorists, as they are doing what Islam requires,” he said.

Well, let us do then what Western Civilization requires.

"Even though Thursday's attacks caused no deaths or injuries and very little damage, they signaled something much more ominous: a growing sense thatthe enemy is hidden within.
"They also produced what some intelligence and law enforcement officials throughout Europe described as barely concealed panic at Scotland Yeard and MI5, Brtain's domestic intelligtence agency, taht Britain is cofronting an entirely new manifestation of terrorism on its soil that cannot be easily roouted out but may inevitably endure."
Think about for a minute. For the past 40 years, the British allowed into their country all kinds of immigrants. All of the non-Muslim immigrants have more or less adjusted to English life, and with each succeeding generation, become more adjusted, more integrated. The Muslims do not. Some may prosper, many more apparently have found the dole to their liking (as have, curiously, Muslims in all other Western European countries). The first generation was busy working; the second and third, busy not working, and "discovering" their Muslim identities rather than shaking them off, inevitably learn that they must hate the Infidels. That is what the Qur'an, Hadith, and the example of Muhammad teach them. And they learn about the duty, individual at times, collective at all times, of Jihad, and about the fact that the earth belongs to Allah, to his people, to the Believers, even if here and there the Infidels are still in control.
Was no one at MI5, no one at Scotland Yard, no one in the government at all, aware of the doctrines of Islam? Had anyone read widely in the history of Jihad-conquest? Had any of the great British scholars of Islam -- including a number of clergymen, such as St. Clair Tisdall, never been consulted? No one had stumbled across any back issues of "The Moslem World" to read? No one thought of Islam as anything other than a "bulwark against Communism," or the religion of those nice Arabs, so much nicer than those pesky Jews (wasn't that almost the universal feeling among the naturally antisemitic British in Mandatory Palestine, save for a few remarkable individuals, such as Orde Wingate and Col. Meinertzhagen?). No one recalled what Winston Churchill so acutely described as the fanaticism of Muslims in that by-now celebrated passage in "The River War."
No, it was left to the "Middle Eastern experts," the heirs of assorted Laurentian myths, about how wonderful the Arabs were, how valuable they had been in World War I. It was all nonsense: in fact the few hundred Bedouin tribesmen under Abdullah, described by the Arabs in their Oriental fantasizing as "at least 100,000," merely attacked here and there the Hejaz Railway, will almost all the Arabs everywhere remained submissive to the Turks until the very end, when they realized which way the wind was blowing and, in Damascus, promptly slaughtered Turkish and German prisoners that had been captured by the Australian and British troops, and only then handed over to the murderous "safe-keepiing" of the Arabs. The Jews of Palestine, in World War I as in World War II, were far more important to the Allied and British war effort; the Nili espionage ring, according to those in British intelligence, were of far greater importance than the made-up "Arab Revolt" that the mythomane Lawrence of Arabia constructed (on that mythomane, see John Aldington's biography of Lawrence, and almost any of the books of Elie Kedourie).
None of this mattered. The Arabist fantasies lived on, kept alive, watered by OPEC money and not-so-genteel antisemitism. And all of that contributed to simply not seeing, not bothering to find out about, Islam, and what a large-scale presence of Muslims would inevitably mean for the Infidels of Great Britain.
And so it has come to pass. And even if every single current terrorist were to be shot dead, it would mean nothing. The Muslims remain, and breed, and read Qur'an, Hadith, and Sira. The texts support Jihad; the texts support violence and every other instrument to subdue the Unbelievers. Every single English political figure or journalist who opens his mouth to assure the world that this is not so, that Islam "has nothing to do with terrorism" ("terrorizing" the enemy is all over the Qur'an and Hadith -- all over the place) is contributing to his own country's possible destruction. Everyone who says that Islam has been "kidnapped by extremists" or by those who "in the name of Islam do un-Islamic things" is helping to destroy his own civilization, and is making things worse.
There is a limit. That Scotland Yard and MI5 are, by all reports, in a panic, that the C.I.A. until recently had someone at the moronic level of Michael Scheuer in charge of the "Bin Laden desk" -- well, this provokes wonder.
Are the intelligence services of the Western world staffed, in their anti-Jihad operations, by people who are --- intelligent?
