How long will Muslims and multiculturalists keep saying this? How long will a gullible public keep buying it? When will the denial end about exactly why these bombers are killing themselves and others, and how such bombers are recruited? Is Britain and the West going to play the dhimmi intellectually and morally all the way up to the time that it becomes necessary to assume the dhimmi role not just in metaphor but in reality?
"Concern at rise in racial attacks," from the BBC, with thanks to Skeetstreet, yet another backlash and nothing-to-do-with-Islam story:
Muslims in the South West are calling for calm following the bomb explosions on 7 July in London.Police said the number of racist attacks was up since the attack on the capital which left more than 50 dead.
In one incident a 20-year-old Muslim youth received serious head injuries after he was attacked by a group of white youths in Central Park, Plymouth.
Some Senior figures in the Islamic community are warning Muslims to keep a low profile while tensions are so high.
Eleven cases of suspected racist attacks have been reported to Devon and Cornwall's Police Diversity Unit since 15 July....
Deplorable indeed -- although other parts of the story suggest that some of these "racist attacks" (what race are Muslims again?) consist of rude remarks. Read on.
The type of person who is being attacked has also raised concerns in the unit.PC Simon Hardwick said: "All the victims are of Asian or Muslim description which is unusual. That raises concerns about a backlash."
The young Muslim attacked in Central Park had his head stamped on by a group of thugs who attacked him near basketball courts.
He is too scared to be identified, but he said he now planned to leave and he would not go out alone anymore....
Sayed Wahid, who owns the Jaipur Palace restaurant in Bretonside, Plymouth, said the atmosphere had changed dramatically since the bombing.
He said: "We have a person stand outside our restaurant with traditional Indian costume and he had never been abused before.
"They stopped the car and said 'Paki go home' and other abuse. It is since the bombing in London."
Golly, that's terrible. People from among your group blow a few people up, you do little or nothing to head off future attacks, and people start yelling at you. Those British -- they're such racists.
Mr Wahid, former chairman of the Islamic Centre and instrumental in creating the city's new Mosque in North Road East, said: "I think people should calm down. What happened in London we utterly condemn. This is nothing to do with Islam."
Sure, Wahid. Sure. But one of the bombers' family and friends say he was "a good Muslim" who wanted to wage jihad. What about that? Wht would you say to them to convince them of the error of their ways? How come no moderate Muslim has ever come forth with a convincing plan for fighting against the jihad ideology?
One of his daughters said since the bombings there had been an undercurrent of fear and suspicion in Plymouth where there are thought to be about 450 Muslims, including university students.Wasia Wahid said: "It's not pleasant at all, especially because I was born in Plymouth and have grown up in Plymouth. My childhood, everything was here.
The bombers grew up in Britain, too. So what?
"But since this has all happened, it doesn't make you feel comfortable. It makes you feel like you're a stranger in your own home town. It makes you feel a little bit isolated."Her undergraduate sister Shahnaz, who wears a Muslim headscarf, has suffered verbal abuse.
She said: "One young chap who was walking by he actually said, 'Are you sure you don't have a bomb on you? No?'. I was actually really stunned."
Why? How exactly are non-Muslims in Britain or anywhere else supposed to determine whether or not any given Muslim is carrying a bomb? What criteria can they use? What are Muslims in Britain doing to drive those who would carry bombs out of their community?
"Are you sure you don't have a bomb on you?" A fair question considering what happened. Did Muslims complain of racism when young Irish men were asked this question during "the troubles?" Of course they didn't. As young Muslim men are doing most of the bombing and killing all over the world, it stands to reason that people will wonder if they are wearing "bomb belts." And young Muslim women are also "doing their duty." Thus, they should be ready to be avoided and examined as well. This is not racism. Muslim is not a race. This is not bigotry nor intolerance. This is self-defense.
They are doing Jihad. Jihad has everything to do with Islam.
Sure:
http://fjordman.blogspot.com/2005/06/jihad-is-only-inner-struggle.html
Jihad is Only an Inner Struggle
Muslim women, to show their Brit solidarity, should all start wearing miniskirts and halter tops, to demonstrate that there is no possibility of concealing a bomb.
Muslim guys could wear hiking shorts, mesh tank top t-shirts and sockless sandals (after the "shoe bomber" showed even sneakers can be dangerous in the hands of an Islamic nutjob).
Their whining resentment will only fuel suspicions that they are hiding something internally.
Like Sura 9:5, perhaps?

Germans quit Berlin school, sparking migrant debate

BERLIN (Reuters) - Turkish, Arabic and Vietnamese fill the air in the playground outside the Eberhard Klein school in Berlin's Kreuzberg district, where German is a foreign language.
The *********last four German pupils********* left the secondary school in the district filled with immigrants just south of the government quarter, giving it the distinction of being the only state school in the country without any German children.

Check out this . The guys at the Christian Science Monitor seem to have actually flown in their Middle East writers to cover the London bombings.
They did this great piece yesterday
http://www.csmonitor.com/2005/0722/p01s01-woeu.html
This is the best article I've seen since the bombings - it really shows what kind of people we're up against - and guess what they don't give a damn about Iraq or Afghanistan - it's worse than that...
scary stuff but a cracking read. check it out.
Holy Toledo! What else would the muslim community be saying? I wonder how many tips and calls they have given to the police about suspected terrorists among them? The PC nonsense that is prevailing over there prevents the general Public from being told how often muslims are reporting one of their own.
John Tomsen:
Thanks for the link. I'm still not sure the coin has fully dropped for the CSM, or at least its politically correct journalists, but there is one hell of a nugget in there!
"Some of the people tell you Islam is a religion of peace because they think that then you'll want to convert," says Dublin-born convert Khalid Kelly, who soaks up Abu Osama's sidewalk sermon. "But you cannot possibly say Islam is a religion of peace; jihad is not an internal struggle."
Armed struggle was the last thing on Mr. Kelly's mind until his conversion several years ago. "I was your average Irish drunkard, partying and so on," he says. Arrested in Saudi Arabia, where he worked as a nurse, for brewing his own alcohol, Kelly found Islam in prison - an increasingly common arena for Muslim conversion and radicalization.
The only difference between a moderate and extremist Muslim regarding jihad is the timing of the use of the sword.
The moderates want to wait until Islam is stronger in population in the infidel lands before using the sword to kill off the remaining infidels.
All the other jihad tactics (taqiyya, kitman, stressing the infidel's coffers by living off the government and demanding infidel aid to Muslims around the world, hiding and covering for their 'martyrs', immigration and hyperbreeding, harassing infidels that wander into their settlements in the infidel lands, making the indigenous population fearful, infiltrating and influencing the textbooks, govt. policy, military, intelligence, police forces, etc.). There is no disagreement there.
Kelly suggests: "We can fight wherever, in Iraq, London, Paris, or Berlin. There is no such thing as innocents. The idea of the Islamic state is terror against anyone who doesn't support Islamic ideology."
THERE IT IS FOLKS.....are we still confused about this religion of peace?
Let the games begin........
"Abu Osama, just 30, was born and raised here in East London, amid peeling paint and dingy kebab shops. "I know English. I know Britain. But if I live here, I must speak for Muslims elsewhere," he says, stressing that he belongs first to the ummah, or global Islamic community."
--- from the Christian Science Monitor article, to which a link is given in a posting above
"I know English. I know Britain. But if I live here..." And now you think he will say "I am British and my loyalty is of course to my fellow citizens of Britain." That is what those fellow citizens have a right to hear him say. That is what he should be able to say. But that is not he then says. He adds: "I must speak for Muslims elsewhere" -- wherever they may be. He must punish his fellow citizens of Britain, the land in which he was born, in order to express what are, or what he thinks are, or what he thinks should be, the views of "Muslims elsewhere" conducting their various local Jihads which are merely the constituent parts of the one great world-wide Jihad.
Is this person born in East London, who knows English and Britain, a loyal citizen of Britain? Can he possibly be? Is there any possiblity of trusting him, in any way, to demonstrate loyalty to his fellow Infidel-citizens or to the Infidel nation-state? And is there any reason to believe that those Muslims who do not speak as he does, who say nothing, or utter what seem to some careless listeners as plausible expressions of "peace" and "tolerance" and "sadness" and "horror" (but never a direct denuniciaton of the Jihad, and never an admission that all of what is being done is done not only "in the name of Islam," but with the considerable textual authority -- an authority that overwhelms any of the pitiful selective quotation of those who claim the Qur'an, Hadith, and Sira -- really, they stick to the first, preferring to avoid the Sunnah altogether -- offer a kindler, gentler Islam, can possibly be trusted by their Infidel neighbors, now or in the future? On what basis might there be such trust, when is constantly being lied to about the contents of the canonical texts of Islam, constantly being subjected to Taqiyya and Tu-Quoque?
Islam, for non-Muslims, is a permanent danger. Even if all terrorism were to cease, or especially if all terrorism were to cease, Islam as a belief-system would remain that threat to all Infidels. And if the inexorable workings of Muslim migration, Muslim mosque-and-madrasa building funded by rich Arabs, Muslim overbreeding, often at the domestic expense of Infidels and sometimes, when conducted within the Muslim countries, made possible by Infidel tax-dollars being paid out in jizya that is demanded, and continues to be paid, as foreig aid that, as to its rationale and logic, is not to be questioned.
Let us see things steadily and whole, and we will not be surprised. There will be no mysteries. We will greet the next headline -- "Louvre bombed, thousands of art works destroyed" -- as awful, but perfectl predictable.
Nothing, nothing at all, should surprise us anymore. And those Infidels who live in countries where there have not been major Muslim attacks should not have to wait to have Toronto or Sydney bombed before they learn from the experience of others -- those in New York, Washington, London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Beslan, Jerusalem, southern Sudan, southern Nigeria, Kashmir, the Moluccas, Sulawesi, East Timor, and a thousand other places, or ten thousand, going back 1350 years.
Stupid people learn only from experience. Intelligent people need not wait. They can learn from the experience, real or imagined, of others. The first is provided by the study of history. The second is provided by the study of literature. The teaching of both history and literature, as it happens, are in a parlous state, all over the Western world, thanks to an academic system that refuses to recognize the real needs of students, indulges careerists in the hyper-professionalization of their teaching and "scholarship," and has raised a generation, or two, of people who do not like to read, know very little, and for whom it may be too late.
That is what the democratization of higher education has brought. A world where Cornel West, or Diane Eck, or a thousand thrusting young academics puruse their little path on the way not of Allah but of book-contracts, grants, speaking-engagements, the year in Bellagio, the foundation money, the book-blurbs and fellowship references from the same people to whom they, in turn, will offer glowing blurbs and extravagant references, and of course the Thanks to Absolutely Everyone Who Has Helped Me and May Help Me to Climb Even Higher Up the Greasy Pole of Academe. A farce, and now it turns out, because of the consequences, in the widespread failure to recognize the contents, and menace, and psychology, of Islam, a failure that this country, and the Western world, cannot afford.
"Police said the number of racist attacks was up since the attack on the capital which left more than 50 dead." From the DBC.
Funny that, I bought the London Evening Standard on my way home from work tonight. I'll have to copy it, I can't find an exact link.
Bombings have not led to racist attacks.
The level of reported racist crimes in London has remained almost the same as before the 7 July attacks.
However, there was a slight rise, then fall, in "faith" crimes targeting buildings such a mosques. Met figures revealed 463 racist crimes in the 10 days following 7 July. The largest number was in Tower Hamlets with 33 incidents. There were 131 faith crimes reported.
Leave aside that Islam is not a race, also that these figures do include some quite trivial incidents (and some serious, not all is sweetness and light) in a city of 8 million people. I think we are being very restrained.
"Islam has nothing to do with it" (alternate phrase: "Islam is a religion of peace") is this era's version of "four legs good, two legs bad".
Of course it has nothing to do with Islam. Muhammed didn't have any bombs therefore they can keep spewing the lie.
Right,nothing to do with islam.
" The cheque is in the mail"
" The alarm clock didn't go off"
" I promise I won't cu* in your mouth"
and the really BIG lie
"Terrorism has nothing to do with Islam"
They must think we're really stupid to fall for the stale rant.
