ONE of the four suicide terrorists behind the London bomb attacks was scrutinised by MI5 last year, but was judged not to be a threat to national security, a senior government official said yesterday.As a result, MI5 failed to put him under surveillance and his plans to become a suicide bomber remained undetected.
Mohammed Sidique Khan, a 30-year-old teaching assistant from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, who killed six other passengers when he blew himself up on a Tube at Edgware Road, was the subject of a routine threat assessment by MI5 officers after his name cropped up during an investigation in 2004.
That inquiry focused on an alleged plot to explode a 600lb truck bomb outside a target in London, thought to be a crowded Soho nightclub.
This weekend, as the death toll from the terrorist attacks rose to 55 and Scotland Yard released the first CCTV image of the four bombers, it emerged that MI5 found out in 2004 that Khan had been visiting a house used by a man who had met one of the suspected truck-bomb plotters. However, MI5 officers subsequently decided that because Khan was only “indirectly linked” to one of the bomb suspects he was not considered a risk. The intelligence service took no further interest in him.
The government official said a “quick assessment” had been made of Khan at the time. Like hundreds of others linked to the inquiry, he was judged to be “on the periphery” of the suspect cell’s network.
“You made quick assessments of them to decide whether or not they were a threat. None of the other people were a threat, including Khan,” the official said.
He conceded that the agency might be accused of being at fault if it turned out that it had overlooked a terrorist suspect. “MI5 is fair game at the moment,” he said. “We’ve only got finite resources. You can only concentrate resources on those people who are a direct threat to national security.”...
How sad. Let me get this straight. The MI5 is overwhelmed with watching terrorists, but Blair aand the dhimmiheads keep telling us 'it is only a tiny, tiny minority.' Wake up England. You have been sold a bag of crap. Is the US better or worse? In the US, the White House has been pretty quiet. I hope that they are getting some serious education about what Islam is REALLY all about, and not from dhimmis and Muslim aplogists like John Esposito.

Muslim populations have to be monitored. The mosques have to be monitored, and those who do not go to mosques have to be monitored. The khutbas (sermons) have to be recorded and analyzsed. The stores selling videocassettes and audiocassettes have to be put under surveillance. The madrasas have to be put under surveillance. The storefront operations, the fly-by-night propaganda places, the Internet websites, all those who receive their world-view from Al Jazeera and similar channels, which includes hundreds of thousands of people in the United Kingdom, and many more millions in Holland, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain. And of course within the United States, every single subscriber to Al Jazeera, if not a member of the security services, is a potential threat to indigenous Infidels and the Infidel nation-state, given what the world-view of Al Jazeera offers.
How many men, how much money, will need to be diverted by Infidel governments in order to cope with this problem, a problem that grows in direct proportion to the size of the Muslim population? And who will discuss this expense, this worry, that does not diminish, not with the second or third or fourth generations, who by all accounts are far more susceptible to "discovering their Muslim identity" than some of the first generation, at least of Pakistanis -- the Arabs in particular seem never to have lost that "identity," one which is so tied up with Uruba, Arab-ness, that even many Arab Christians are promoters for, and apologists of, the Jihad -- against Israel, of course, but also elsewhere in North Africa and the MIddle East (not a word by any Arab, anywhere, about the mass murders of non-Arabs in the southern Sudan, for example).
At what point will the nonsense stop, and the truth-telling begin? We have no obligation to allow into our midst, or allow to remain in our midst, what is without a doubt the most dangerous group of people that have ever been voluntarily allowed -- out of ignorance, out of the diseased Idols of the Age -- "tolerance" and "diversity" -- that have no relevance here.
We Infidels do not deserve this. Our elites, our governments, have let us down. In Europe, above all, but also here. They must put things right. They must lessen the threat. They must do nothing to allow it to grow still larger.

So if I understand this correctly , all Muslims are decent people and if one is suspected of any criminal intention that would be Islamophobia , but when that same Muslim reads the same Quran as the real Muslims and then
murders non-Muslims through Jihad as a suicide bomber the real Muslims now claim they're not a Muslim and Islamophobia will case "Backlash" for the unIslamic attack on civilians.

But wait a minute folks,didn't these bombers just be identified as non-Muslims doing an un-Islamic act according to the Quran and in turn
create more Islamophobia.
Looks like the Sunni Muslims from Pakistan agree these men ARE indeed Muslim,but it's the "JEWS" and USA that caused them to kill for justice and peace in the Middle East. Guess these Sunni's didn't catch the item about rockets being fired at Israelis during the truce so Israel can pull out of Gaza.

UK Sunni Muslims condemn London transit attacks

A fatwa has been issued by Britain's largest Sunni Muslim group proclaiming the July 7 London transit bombings as the work of a "perverted ideology."
In issuing the binding religious edict, the Sunni Council said Sunday the bombings were anti-Islamic and that the Koran, Islam's holy book, forbade suicide attacks.
"Who has given anyone the right to kill others? It is a sin. Anyone who commits suicide will be sent to Hell,'' said Mufti Muhammad Gul Rehman Qadri, the council chairman.
"What happened in London can be seen as a sacrilege. It is a sin to take your life or the life of others.''
*****The fatwa also said Muslims could not use the "ATROCITIES (?) being committed in Palestine and Iraq" to justify acts like the transit bombings that killed 55 and wounded 700.******

The Fatwa said the Palestinian atrocities, this use of english means that there are atrocities Muslims can use to justify suicide bombings or murder in the name of Allah and Islam.
Just look at the 60 some odd battle Muhammed was in and the beheading he did to his enemies,Muslims are trying to scam us by the constant rant about Islam being a faith of Peace and Forgiveness.
Sadly it looks like they always want us to forgive them for the murders of non-Muslims and the Peace will come once Islam slaughters all the infidels to make an Islamic planet ruled by Sharia-law.
