He was convicted on charges of conspiring to support al-Qaeda and Hamas, supporting the Palestinian group and attempting to support al-Qaeda.Al-Moayad, 57, was secretly recorded promising to funnel more than $2 million to Hamas in a meeting with two FBI informants in a German hotel room. He was arrested by German police in January 2003 and extradited to the United States....
One of the informants, Mohamed Alanssi, set himself on fire outside the White House in November 2004 in what he later described as an attempt to get more money from the FBI, which paid him at least $100,000 for his work.
Alanssi nonetheless testified at al-Moayad's trial that the sheik had boasted of giving bin Laden $20 million in the years before the Sept. 11 attacks.

Small consolation, but at age 57, he's unlikely to spend a full 75 years in the jug.

At least he'll be long dead before he gets out. I remember Jeffrey Dammer getting something like 940 yrs in prison, several consecutive sentences. I think he is a rare case.

He will be in good company, a whole bunch of other innocent guys. He will have a lot of time to get his prison mosque going. He probably wont serve a full 75, but he will have plenty of time to play Imam and convert many future terrorists.
So what he has done, is to let Allah direct things, and Allah knows that this terrorist is more valuable to him in prison, than out of it...
He needs to stop whining and get with Allahs program...Expanding Islam by the Penal method...
Since Allah knows best, and he is in charge, the more muslims arrested, the more that helps Allahs cause. Soon, nearly everyone incarcerated would be a muslim. Muslims should be thankful for mass arrests...they make Allah happy...

Yes, Dahmer was beaten to death by another inmate. A convicted double murderer who was on the same work detail was beaten into a coma in the same incident. The inmate who killed Dahmer wanted to enhance his rep by becoming known as the guy who killed Jefferey Dahmer.
Back to the main topic. It's nice to see those who support terror whether through financing or hate speech receiving long prison sentences. Hopefully this man will die in prison.
It´s not my tax money, but I am glad he is put in jail for so long, in my country - Denmark, people like him are walking free only being watched, which they anyway know and don´t care about.
