LONDON, England (CNN) -- Police have identified two of the four suspects they believe were behind last week's failed bomb attacks on the London transit system....Peter Clarke, head of the Britain's anti-terror branch, said police were looking for Yasin Hassan Omar, 24, and Muktar Said-Ibrahim or Muktar Mohammed-Said, 27.
Police believe Muktar Said-Ibrahim placed a bomb on a No. 26 bus in Hackney, east London, last Thursday, Clarke said.
He added that police were searching a north London address they believed was associated with Said-Ibrahim on Monday.
Clarke said Omar attempted to detonate a bomb on a Victoria Line Underground train between Oxford Circus and Warren Street stations. He was seen leaving Warren Street at 12:40 pm (1140 GMT), vaulting over the ticket barrier and running towards the exit.
Police have urged Londoners to help locate the four men suspected of carrying out the attacks, whose images were captured Thursday on closed circuit television cameras near the bombing sites.
Said-Ibrahim and Omar and a third suspect are believed to have entered Stockwell Underground station in south London just before 12:25 pm (1125 GMT) last Thursday, Clarke said.
The third man is suspected of attempting to set off a bomb on the Northern Line between Stockwell and Oval stations before being chased from Oval by passengers. He was last seen running towards Brixton, south London.
So many Muhammads and Saids and Mukhtars and Omars and Ibrahims. This might convey the wrong message about Islam. Couldn't they just be identified as John Doe 1 and John Doe 2?

Remember the riots of northern England in the '90s (a'la "My Son The Fanatic"; an excellent film for those you that are interested)? It was always "whites" and police versus "South Asians." Everyone was too polite that what they meant was "Muslims from Pakistan and Bangladesh." And the other "South Asians" namely Hindus, Sri Lankans, Nepalese, Thai, Laotians, etc. probably didn't like being lumped in with terrorists from the terrorist religion that prevails in terrorist countries, but THEY don't have any oil, and THEY don't have gracious sponsorship from the countries that do. So the "MSM" wasn't very obliging and gladhanding for THEM, was it? The simple fact is that the MSM is only "politically correct" and "sensitive" when it comes to protecting Islam. This includes FOX, MSNBC, and Clear Channel. Because Saudi money trumps all.

Islamic leader wages war of words with Australian PM over terror.
Melbourne-based cleric Sheik Mohammed Omran said in an open letter to the prime minister that Howard’s remarks about the possibility of suicide bombers within Australian communities were “inflammatory”.
Howard had criticsed Omran for what he called “appalling” comments suggesting that Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden “in effect is a good man and the attacks in London were the responsibility of the Americans.” There was an obligation on religious leaders “not to incite hatred, not to preach intolerance, and that is a responsibility Islamic leaders in Australia carry very heavily,” he said.
Omran, head of the fundamentalist Muslim group Ahlus Sunnah wal Jam’ah Association of Australia, hit back in his open letter by attacking Howard’s earlier comments about suicide bombers in Australia. “This statement does nothing but entice fear into the hearts of Australians. It is your statement which is inflammatory,” he wrote.
Local Muslims “consider ourselves Australians working for the betterment of Australia. Those of us who came from other countries appreciate how the people of this country have accepted us with open arms. Islam teaches us to appreciate kindness and we wouldn’t do anything to betray this gesture,” he said.
Omran, who earlier this month dismissed “any evil action linked to bin Laden”, told Nine Network television Sunday that the United States government was responsible for the September 11 attacks. “I believe there is a ... conspiracy against Islams and Muslims,” he said. “There is a mastermind behind these things and the mastermind is 100 per cent, he is from the US government.”
Howard Monday defended his criticism of Omran, telling national radio that he believed the cleric’s views would be unacceptable to the majority of Muslims in Australia. “He’s reaffirmed that he thinks bin Laden is a good man,” the prime minister said. “Heavens above ... let’s just sit back and think for a moment. He says that bin Laden is a good man. Doesn’t that really prove my point?”
Omran denied that he had accused the United States of being behind the London bombings, but added: “I am not satisfied that the individuals behind these evil acts have an Islamic agenda.”
Solution: Deport all Methodists, now.

A friend of mine answered a job advert for an Asian nurse (one of the type of posts excluded from the equal opps legislation) Sorry, she was told, you are the wrong ethnic group, didn't you read the advert? Please remove the references to "South Asia" and "East Africa". Let's just say "residents of Britain" and leave it at that.
And please remove the bombers' names and their photos. Releasing true facts about their identity and background is highly offensive to Islamists, since it impinges on their plans and activities.
