Quotes from the Al-Hisbah blog from "Radical blogs," in the TimesOnline, :
“London put an end to the Khilafah. It is London that gave the Balfour Declaration to the Jews. It is London that has divided Palestine and occupied Iraq. Oh London, you have paid a small part of that big bill of yours for the war against Islam and the Muslims. It was God’s will to give you a taste of the pain.”“Yesterday Britain jumped in the air celebrating the announcement of the Olympics. Now they are flying through the air as corpses and parts of corpses. In the name of God that has raised the sky without pillars, let America and those who live with America know that they will never know security before we live that security in Palestine and before all the infidel armies leave the land of Mohammed.”
“After the long wait and after the end of the truce offered by Osama bin Laden (God save him) and the participation of Britain in the war against Muslims and the crimes of their Army raping our women in Iraq, God has blessed us with hitting the second capital of the infidels. It is a moment to put the sorrow and sadness into the heart of the invaders and all those who ally themselves with them. We pray to God the next hit will be soon and bigger than this one...”
I am always amused at the unsophisticated way the muslim men I know and read about, can lie - for example, that British troops are raping muslim women.
Although I will not draw broad generalizations, the Muslim acquaintances I know will try lie after lie to me, until one of them sticks and I am decieved. They are not talking poltics or religion, just everyday subjects.
The general derision that muslim men hold for the rest of us causes them to underestimate our powers of reason, and over-estimate our naivete.
Does anyone else have this experience of muslim statements that would be comical, if they were not delivered with such seriousness?
If the muslims in general become better liars, we will all be in trouble.
Muslims are children in this world. Children with sticks and stones that torment a cat or a small dog and find it amusing.
Or lie about how big a fish they caught and believe it themselves.
Well, at least he didn't go on and on about joo's.
They like throw that barb about western troops raping muslim women...and just what happens to the muslim woman that is raped by one of these filthy infidels? Do they take her to a doctor? Do they provide her counsling? Do they treat her as a victim? Do they shower her with love and compassion?...No, not these devotee's of Allah...
If they dont kill her outright, she will be lucky to survive with all her limbs. Acid in the face works well also...
Lunartics....
The rest of it was just more anal retentive rhetoric. Allah seems to know a lot about anal retentiveness. If he wants his muslims to be anal retentives, I suppose they will be anal retentives...it sounds like a strange plan, but who am I to argue with Allah about it...he does know best...

Not a single conversation between a Believer and an Infidel is, in my experience, unless it is simply the act of buying a newspaper, will not have its element of falsity about it. How could it be otherwise? Someone who is not supposed to like you, to refrain from being friendly with you, who may in fact despise you for one thing, and one thing only (you are an Infidel) has, on the other hand, to maintain an outward civility, for his own sake (this is not Pakistan, this is not Saudi Arabia, this is not Egypt), this intoleerable burden of treating an Infidel with seeming respect, perhaps at times even deference, when this is strange, contra naturam, simply unnatural given that the Believer should dominate, always and everywhere, and the waiting, the waiting until Islam becomes strong enoguh to dominate -- how many more years or decades, O Allah, must we endure this intolerable inability to declare ourselves fully, and take command -- must rankle, must gnaw away, must cause all kinds of unassuagable secret fury.

"Anarchy in the UK!"
Better update that old Sex Pistols song to:
"Islamic anarchy in the UK!"
I thought it was all to do with terrorst George W. Bush and the evil American crusaders' invasion of the sovereign Muslim lands of Afghanistan and Iraq?
Your mean they were already mad at the British!?
Over the Balfour Amendment? From the WW I era?
Do the Brits know this?
(How will withdrawing from Itaq, ala the Spanish, help them now? And do the Spaniards understand that al-Andalus is on the back-burner of Islam as well? Which means that their lickspittle cowardice cut-and-run won't help them either.)
Welcome to 620 A.D. Europe!
Which is the answer for anybody saying it was all Tony Blair's fault for taking us into Iraq. Remember that everybody and keep the name of the site and source in mind. If you can tell the critics that a writer on the Islamist al-Hisbah website was reported in The Times as saying.... it will better knock the wind out of their sails.
Granny:
Given the apparent hostility towards Israel in the UK, is being able to point to the Balfour Declaration rather than Iraq as the real grievance necessarily a good thing? I only know what I hear or read in the Canadian media, or reports on Brit media (courtesy of Melanie Phillips's blog) in the minds of many Brits, that would be quite a legit grievance too. When it comes to Arab/Muslim claims of victimization, there's no statute of limitations.
And chances are none of the usual suspects would give a damned if confronted with the facts on the ground as they were back then, a very sparsely populated and desolate country, Jewish and Christian holy sites badly neglected or deliberately vandalized or destroyed by the Turks, immigrants from Eastern Europe willing to toil on the land, and money from Jewish philanthropists to support the enterprize.
No, the Arabs and their apologists know only of the narrative concocted by Arafat & Co., and there's no telling them otherwise.

You do have a point. I was not thinking beyond how to demonstrate that the reasons for jihad go back further than the Iraq and Afghanistan wars to something most young protestors will have never heard of (to their very great shame) but which happened when their grandparents were babies. To take it back to the crusades and the expulsion from Spain (which we here know to be accurate) would be so far back they (earnest young anti war protestors) would say I was fantasising. There is so much simplistic stuff in the papers blaming our involvement in Iraq.
Few people know history as well as they they should. Alas, alack.
"....and the crimes of their Army raping our women in Iraq,.."
Translated as: They can't rape our women, only WE can rape our women.
Then they won't mind when we celebrate after Mecca and Medina are nuked. Tit for tat.
I think that genial, bare faced cheek, the "we're never sure they mean it" mentality, the extreme group think they have, (protecting their criminals off shore, yet executing them at home) is probably a tribal thing. As a thin, long haired yet not hippy youth I worked with a mixed bunch of them and religion hardly ever came into the conversation, although knives regularly did . ..
What I have noticed though, is a certain brand of youth, of East Asian origin, with islamic names, but of blank demeanour, lacking in any courtesy whatsoever, any acknowledgment of anything but my order, serving my fish, perhaps, or doing the checkout.
There is more than one named Mohammed among them. The supermarket is popular and busy, and deservedly so. And one hears the floor manager rounding them up, periodically, summoning them over the pa, so they do seem to go walkabout.
Most of the staff are open and chatty, certainly at minimum you get a greeting and farewell, it must be company poilicy. These guys exhibit no courtesy and are outright stony faced. No offhand pleasantness will get any sort of reaction from them. The serving is abrupt and perfunctory.
The ramifications go from small to great. First, that the management of a major, if not the biggest supermarket chain in the country (Aust), is ignorant or incapable of instilling common customer skills in a section of their staff.
Following on, it makes people like me who notice these distinctions in human behaviour, these apparent anomalies in a tiny, tiny, perhaps misunderstood minority, wonder if we just shouldn't get homeland security to check them all out, just in case.
If anything happens I may be affected, or, I will never forgive myself for not passing on my observations.
Is this a dilemma, should I establish more of a pattern to it myself, or is it better to pass on the tip right now, based on a few brief observations?
Granny:
As you and I and most of the bloggers on this site know, the main "grievance" started when the Jews of the Hejaz spurned Mohammed's overtures to them to convert.
