Fox is reporting no trace of chemical agents found. Police confirm explosions on three subways and a bus. There are reports that only the detonators exploded, not the bombs. A man was lead away from 10 Downing Street by police. University Hospital near Warren St. subway was in lockdown after a suspicious man wearing a sweatshirt with wires sticking from it was spotted. Terrified Tube passengers were evacuated from trains today as police dealt with “incidents” at three different London Underground stations.Emergency services were also called to a bus in east London amid reports there was a device on board.
Passengers evacuated from Warren Street Tube station reported seeing smoke in the carriages before the evacuation.
There were also unconfirmed reports of an explosion.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "One person has received an injury at Warren Street. We cannot confirm what the injury is, how it was received or who serious it is. We are still waiting for more information.”
Sosiane Mohellavi, 35, was travelling from Oxford Circus to Walthamstow when she was evacuated from a train at Warren Street.
“I was sitting in the carriage reading a book and I smelt something burning, like wiring or tyres, and it just got more intense. Suddenly people panicked and started screaming and were walking on each other’s backs trying to get the hell out of there.
“I couldn’t move, I didn’t know what to do, whether to run or not. People ran and left their shoes and belongings when they smelt the burning,” Mr Mohellavi said.
A British Transport Police spokeswoman said Warren Street, Shepherds Bush and Oval stations had all been evacuated.
She said the incidents were “ongoing”.
Underground services were suspended as the alert spread.
London fire brigade said there were reports of smoke coming from Oval station, which crews were investigating.
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: “Emergency services personnel are responding to reports of incidents at three locations on the Underground – the Oval, Warren Street and Shepherd’s Bush.”
Victoria Line passenger Ivan McCracken claimed a traveller’s rucksack had exploded on the Tube outside Warren Street station.
He told Sky News: “I was in a middle carriage and the train was not far short of Warren Street station when suddenly the door between my carriage and the next one burst open and dozens of people started rushing through. Some were falling, there was mass panic.
“It was difficult to get the story from any of them what had happened but when I got to ground level there was an Italian young man comforting an Italian girl who told me he had seen what had happened.
“He said that a man was carrying a rucksack and the rucksack suddenly exploded. It was a minor explosion but enough to blow open the rucksack.
“The man then made an exclamation as if something had gone wrong. At that point everyone rushed from the carriage.”...

The driver of the number 26 bus in Hackney, east London, heard a bang from the upper deck of the vehicle and said the windows were blown out, according to Steve Stewart, a spokesman for Stagecoach Plc, which operates public transport services. The bus is intact and there are no injuries, he said. The BBC said a split backpack was left on the floor of a bus.
``There was a nasty burning rubber smell but no smoke,'' Caroline Russell, who was traveling on the subway at Warren Street, told the BBC in an interview today.
Police also cordoned off University College Hospital in central London today and sent an ``armed response'' unit there, police spokesman Steve Sherwood said in an interview. A memo was distributed to hospital employees indicating a suspect in the Warren Street incident had been spotted nearby, Sky News reported. The Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CAN) today condemned the terrorist attacks of the London, England subway system and a double-decker bus.
In a statement released today, CAIR-CAN wrote:
"Canadian Muslims condemn these attacks in England, and offer our sympathy and heartfelt condolences to those affected.
"Such an attack can never be justified in the name of Islam, which does not condone the killing of innocent people. It is parked on the corner of the passage way which led into the reception offices of what was then the factory where my late father worked. The other side of the road out of shot is the small mission hospital where my mother died and my grandmother was born. Behind the trees is the church where many of my family were married and baptised. Just in the background is the pub where my parents met during the war. They survived the blitz. As someone else of their generation was quoted as saying recently, "I have been blown up by a better class of bastard than this".

All the attacks on Israel by Muslim armies have been severely limited by outside Western powers (USSR on one side, USA on the other, Europe jockeying in the middle) applying various degrees of pressure (economic, diplomatic, etc.) and counterbalancing help (diplomatic and military).
Secondly, I have no proof of this, but I think those attacks all demonstrate a high degree of self-restraint -- the Muslims held back their true desire to conquer (for the reasons I gave earlier). Imagine if throughout the 50s, 60s and 70s the Muslim world was in fact NOT in the overpowering shadow of the West (US, USSR and Europe). They would have raised armies of millions of frenzied suicidal maniacs and overwhelmed Israel and slaughtered all the Jews in a matter of weeks.
If your idea of warfare worked, metaxy, the Zulus would have defeated the small British contingent at Rourke's Drift.

If you look at the history warfare. An army trained in the Western way of war will almost always defeat an Eastern army even if the Western army is outnumbered. The superiority of Western armies is the result of better weapons, tactics and strategy.That's why the Isreali's always beat the Arabs.

The British Muslim Forum Has Issued a Fatwa (Formal Legal Opinion) on Behalf of Over Five Hundred Scholars.
On Monday the 18th of July the British Muslim Forum issued a fatwa (religious legal opinion) regarding suicide bombings in this country. Scholars felt that it was necessary to clarify the Islamic position on acts such as those witnessed on 7th of July in London.
The Islamic legal opinion was issued outside the houses of Parliament, where over fifty scholars came out to support and hear the Fatwa read. Greatly significant in this ruling is the fact that over 500 Scholars, clerics and Imams have signed and supported it.
On behalf of the five hundred scholars Gul Muhammad read the fatwa, “Islam strictly, strongly and severely condemns the use of violence and the destruction of innocent lives. There is neither place nor justification in Islam for extremism, fanaticism or terrorism. Suicide bombings, which killed and injured innocent people in London, are HARAAM - vehemently prohibited in Islam, and those who committed these barbaric acts in London are criminals not martyrs. Such acts, as perpetrated in London, are crimes against all of humanity and contrary to the teachings of Islam.”
Adding that, “The Holy Quran declares:
“Whoever kills a human being… then it is as though he has killed all mankind; and whoever saves a human life, it is as though he had saved all mankind.“ (Quran, Surah al-Maidah (5), verse 32)
Islam’s position is clear and unequivocal: Murder of one soul is the murder of the whole of humanity; he who shows no respect for human life is an enemy of humanity.”

Sarin Nerve Agent Bomb Explodes in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - A roadside bomb containing sarin nerve agent exploded near a U.S. military convoy, the U.S. military said Monday. Two people were treated for ``minor exposure,'' but no serious injuries were reported.
``The Iraqi Survey Group confirmed today that a 155-millimeter artillery round containing sarin nerve agent had been found,'' said Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt, the chief military spokesman in Iraq. ``The round had been rigged as an IED (improvised explosive device) which was discovered by a U.S. force convoy.
``A detonation occurred before the IED could be rendered inoperable. This produced a very small dispersal of agent,'' he said.

Shepherd's Bush is where I work and Archway, also evacuated is where I live. I was working at home today, as it happens, though colleagues in the office were first sealed in, then evacuated.
A couple of nights ago I was out and about in Holborn. The tube was cordoned off, police and ambulences rushed to the scene. Nothing on the news at all. Probably a false alarm, but very disruptive, all the same.
And now we've got to go through all that defiant, undaunted, 'we are not afraid' stuff all over again. Yawn. I will fearlessly pop down to my local offy and buy a bottle of Blitz spirit, 70% proof.

I've just been watching the news, and one of the latest reports was that on one of the tubes, a guy got on, left a rucksack and ran off, He was then chased by numerous passengers but managed to escape.
It was a French guy who was the witness to this incident, but he said he couldn't help chase him as he was carrying heavy bags.

You should try studying the art of war and the history of warfare rather then just imagining different strange scenarios. Western armies almost always beat Eastern armies even when outnumbered. That is the case whether the army is lead by Alexander or Gen Tommy Franks.Its the difference in weapons, training, tactics and strategy.That's how Alexander defeated Persian armies 10 times the size of his army and how Gen Franks took Afghanistan with about 1000 special forces troops, air power and proxies.The best warriors on the planet are trained in the Western way of war.Not just in the US but in the UK, Isreal, France ect. KHARTOUM, Sudan -- Security forces in the Sudanese capital manhandled U.S. officials and reporters traveling with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, marring her round of congratulatory meetings with leaders of the new unified government. Rice demanded an apology, and got it.
"It makes me very angry to be sitting there with their president and have this happen," she said. "They have no right to push and shove." Rice made her remarks to reporters after she and her entourage boarded an airplane to fly from the capital to a refugee camp in the Darfur region. At the camp, she said the United States would hold the Sudanese government to account if it fails to end the refugee crisis.
State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said the Sudanese foreign minister responded to Rice's demand for an apology by telephoning her aboard the plane to express regret for the incidents at the ultra-high-security residence of Sudanese President Omar el-Bashir.
Twice, Sudanese guards' hostility toward members of Rice's entourage devolved into shouts and shoving.
As Rice's motorcade arrived at the residence, armed guards slammed the gate shut before three vehicles could get in, including those carrying Rice's interpreter and other State Department officials who were supposed to attend her meeting with el-Bashir.
After protests, the officials were eventually allowed in. But guards repeatedly pushed and pulled Rice senior adviser Jim Wilkinson, and at one point he was shoved into a wall.
"Diplomacy 101 says you don't rough your guests up," Wilkinson said later.
Once Rice's traveling group was inside, the guards tried to keep reporters out of a planned photo shoot of Rice's meeting.
When reporters were finally allowed in, they were elbowed and guards repeatedly tried to rip a microphone away from a U.S. reporter. They were ordered not to ask questions, over State Department objections.
When NBC diplomatic reporter Andrea Mitchell tried to ask el-Bashir a question about his involvement with alleged atrocities, a scuffle broke out.
Guards grabbed the reporter and muscled her toward the rear of the room as State Department officials shouted at the guards to leave her alone. "Get your hands off her!" Wilkinson demanded. But all the reporters and a camera crew were physically forced out.

The military prowess of islamic countries are legendary. Arabs have attacked Israel several times since 1948 and they have had their asses handed to them every time.
