THE al-Qaeda terrorists who killed more than 52 people in the London rush-hour bombings are still at large and could strike again, security sources gave warning yesterday.Investigators are increasingly convinced that only one bomber — who killed 13 people in the explosion on a double-decker bus — died in the blasts.
The others are thought to have left their bombs — consisting of less than 10lb of high explosive hidden in rucksacks and fitted with timed fuses — on the floors of three Tube trains before escaping.
New information emerged last night on the timing of the explosions on the Undergroud. Police said that they now believed that the bombs went off within six minutes of each other, the first at Edgware Road station at 8.50am. This was originally logged as a person under a train, but by 9.17 police had realised that it was a bomb.
The second blast, between Aldgate and Liverpool Street on the Circle Line, came at 8.51, with the third, on the Piccadilly Line train between King’s Cross and Russell Square, at 8.56. The bus explosion in Tavistock Square came at 9.47.
One high-level source said that investigators were assuming that “the people who did this are still out there. They could do it again”.
A second attack would fit the pattern of recent al-Qaeda activity in Europe. In November 2003, the HSBC bank and the British Consulate in Istanbul were attacked five days after two synagogues in the city had been bombed.
The London bombs are strikingly similar to the wave of blasts which killed 191 people on commuter trains in Madrid in March last year. Less than a month later, a bomb attack on the high-speed rail line to Seville was foiled.

Prayers for the UK and the victims..... I always thought the bus toll was too low. 13 killed is more what I would expect from the Israeli experience with these psycho killers. The number of those maimed & traumatized for life is not known yet.
So have the British Authorities began to sweep up all the usual suspects? All the known muslim antagonists that they have on file so that the Brits may not have to suffer the possibility of more bombs in the next few days or are they going to wait for warrants that may not present enough evidence for a judge to okay them,--oops-- we cannot have that kind of profiling can we? Never mind that it could be the difference between life and death for some poor unsuspecting woman taking her children to market and possibly hundreds more. Did we not hear that duck quacking in the forest.
Why should the bombers stop there...everytime the Islmic terrorists blow something up, the western media and elected officials glorify Islam as a religion of peace and give them money. This is a mind twister and Islam is not doing it, the resposibility lays at the feet of the leftist, media, and vacillating politicians...if there really is a war on terror, politicians should butt out and let the military run the war...

Britian has more to worry about then bombs. The very fabric of British society is now under attack by the forces of multiculturalism.
"The Inland Revenue is considering recognizing polygamy for some religious groups for tax purposes. Officials have agreed to examine family friendly–representations from Muslims who take up to four wives under Sharia, the laws derived from the Koran," The Sunday Times reported last year.
The next day, the article was quoted in the Saudi Ash-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper under the headline, "Britain inclined to accept polygamy where issues of inheritance and taxes are involved."
And the British Muslim community is planning to refer Britain's ban on polygamous marriage to the European Court of Human Rights.

Dennisw - Did you hear some of the reports of people who survived the bus? The night nurse who had to walk through the remains of the man next to her whose body protected her from the blast. The driver, who thought he had hit the kerb, looked back and saw half his bus missing. The field station set up ad hoc by the doctors of the British Medical Association whose HQ the bus stopped outside. The first 2 deaths attributed to the bus died in their courtyard. But their being on the spot must have saved some lives.

But Christina said: "People at school were talking about it and I had a feeling it was his bus. I don't know why. I tried to call home but I couldn't get through on my mobile.
"I just hate the people who did this. I hate them. How dare they do this to people?

Christopher Hitchens guested yesterday on MSNBC with liberal commentator Ronald Reagan Jr., Hitchens was clearly angry with Reagans blame every body else attitude first and he tried to do all he could to contain himself in dealing with Ronnie Jr.but found himself telling ronnie Jr,. that he simply didn't no what he was talking about when it comes to the jihad Ideology several times. Ronnie Jr. ended up giggling and felt that he was getting ganged up on during the discussion; TO TO BAD!

You are totally correct the western media twists itself into circles trying not to ofend Muslims. After the London attacks a talk radio show that prizs itself on a lack of BS use the term 'those who perverted Islam" instead using the term Muslim terorrists. And Oh My God were the Brit bloggers right on how biased the BBC is. The BBC World News reported how happy it was London's "multiculturalist atmosphere" wasn't compromised by the attacks. It's absoultely nauseating.

Despite the hysterical homophobia in Saudi Arabia two men holding hands is considered completly acceptable. But, according to Carmen Bin Ladin, if a man touches a woman (even if it's to catch his pregnant tent-wearing wife in triple digit heat who has fainted), he can expect to find the religios police all over him.
Bush didn't look to happy in that photo though, he looked freaked out.
