UK: Third terror cell on loose

And there will be more after that one as well, until the ideology that motivates those in such cells is confronted and defeated. From the Times Online, with thanks to The One Who Must Not Be Named:

A THIRD Islamist terror cell is planning multiple suicide bomb attacks against Tube trains and other “soft” targets in central London, security sources have revealed.

Intelligence about a cell with access to explosives and plans to unleash a “third wave” of attacks was the trigger for last Thursday’s unprecedented security exercise. The operation saw 6,000 police, many armed, patrolling across London.

Senior police officers say that there was “specific” intelligence from several sources that an attack was planned for that day. The disclosure contradicts official statements by Scotland Yard that Thursday’s security exercise — the biggest since the second world war — was simply a precaution aimed at reassuring the public.

Can anyone say 8/7? I knew you could!

Plus, only 64 more shopping days until Ramabomb!

Aspiring martyrs get your PETN and TATP early; no Shaheed, no virgins!

The Creation of a Terror Cell

Mohammed: "Do you think Osama Bin Laden is correct in what he does?"

Mohammed B.: "Yes, we must fight against the infidels."

Mohammed C.: "I've surveyed a half dozen Internet imams who agree."

Mohammed D.: "I trained in Afghanistan from 1983-4 in bomb making."

Mohammed & (B)(C)(D): "Let's go kill some infidels!"

Ital ~ don't lock yourself into one theorist date - the entire week is a busy and cell activity is planned so far in advance, whether one goes off well or not; it does not deter
pre-planned activities. wish it did, but it, sadly, does not!

'unprecedented security exercise. The operation saw 6,000 police, many armed, patrolling across London.'

I wonder what the total cost of the police and intelligence operation has or will come to for just these two operations. If there is a sustained campaign (perhaps not frequent bombs, but say three or four a year over a long period) how much harm is being done to the economies of the west (include economic disruption, trading and tourism, loss of economic 'feel good' factor, investment, etc not just police expenditure)?

At which point can the elites no longer claim that muslims make a economically positive contribution to our societies (We all know they are lying on this already)?

Cost to the ummah:

4 dead.
perhaps a dozen operatives in prison,
A few thousand pounds for the bombs and logistics.
A greater risk that infidels will learn the truth about the religion of peace.

Some of the cost to the infidels:

Over fifty dead.
the cost of jailing a few dozen operatives for a very long time and the resultant dawa.
A massive security operation involving thousands and costing many millions over an indefinate period.
The need to anethestise the infidels to the true nature of islam (in order to protect multiculturism), this results in more muslim demands being met, in effect jizra being paid, hence a more rapid expansion of the ummah.
Harder to persue foreign policy, due to need to include muslim sensibilities at home.

Surely from the above the ummah will realise that the operations have been very effective in furthering their cause. Why shoud they stop?

Exactly how much of this can we take before the elites begin to realise the true cost of muslim immigration?

And yet the politicians allow the enemy army to move around at will. They are living among us, free to kill. This reminds me of a herd of impala who have just had one of the ewes killed, they go back to grazing, seemingly they forget as soon as the ewe is eaten.

Along those lines, I cannot get over how many imams I have seen on TV in the last few weeks talking about terror. I don't believe they are too dense to understand the relation to loud bangs and lots of broad media coverage to push Islam, their "peaceful" brand.

In other words, even if they denounce the bombings they sure are getting some great air time to trumpet their religion. Man we can be sheeple...

I don't want to understand Islam anymore than I have already, as a result of 9/11. I am tired of it, I don't admire it, I don't like it and I won't ever convert to it.

It makes me so angry to see the media coverage and obvious encouragement these people get when 60 people are blown up in the name of their religion. Their message sounds so hollow to me. All ONE, just ONE reporter needs to ask when they say the are against suicide bombings that kill civilians is, "Does that include in Isreal?".

I think the imams and muslim apologists and taqiyyamasters are filled with glee, watching the poor infidels run around like chickens with their heads cutoff, pleading with the imams and the taqiyyamasters to tell them what they want to hear. And they do.

They laugh at the MSM, with its endless lies that the MSM believes is true: "tiny minority", "does not represent Islam", "is against Islam", and a thousand other lies that the MSM pounds into the stupid Infidel's head.

I'm going with a friend to his remote and secluded house in the country for a couple of days, and it will be good to get away from the laughter of the imams and taqiyyamasters.

Chevalier is leaving his Queensland billabong paradise and beloved orchids to attend his daughter's wedding in London next week.
I will, thanks to this wonderfully lucid site, be well on my guard during my three weeks stay.
I will avoid public transport as much as possible and heavily populated tourist sites.
I will visit lovely Richmond park since the deer therein are no doubt the safest mammals in that city.
And i will spread the knowledge gained on Spencer's site to as many as i can!

JV,

"The need to anethestise the infidels to the true nature of islam (in order to protect multiculturism..."

This particular need already has a powerful and dominant cultural infrastructure (and therefore requires little extra expense) -- the PC Zeitgeist that has conquered the West over the past 50 years.

Carolyn:

It is nauseating:

Every day you see and hear these fools on discussion round-tables with the Mohammedan Taqiyya masters
beating around the bush, telling -themselves- that 99.9 % are 'peaceful & law-abiding Muslims' and that they "misunderstand this 'great' religion" ... None of them bothers to inform themselves, not one argues from knowledge but from hope and personal opinions alone. Only the Muahmmedans know what this is all about and they let them chatter away with a smirk on their (bearded faces.)

While in Europe I watched a few of these discussions, where the host and his -very educated- guests put some very polite PC questions to a smirkin' glowering Imam:

Like "Wouldn't you agree that there will be some kind of "European Islam" some kind in the future...?"

The Imam shook his head in disbelief over the stupidity and the naiveté of this question...

It is very interesting to read the comments of all of you folks from various places around the globe. I am no expert on Islam or any other religion. But I do know that decent god fearing people don't run around cutting off peoples heads or blow themselves to smithereens in a subway just to show the world how great their religion is. Islam to me is a friggin joke. All these politicians who go out of their way to be politically correct and not offend these muslims are also a joke. There is a reason that the bulk of American troops are from the Midwest, South and Mountain States. It is NOT because they have no economic opportunities. First off, we get it. We know we are in a war to our or our enemies death. For the most part we aren't shackled by all the elite PC bull that is everywhere in the East and CA. This whole issue could be dealt with pretty quickly and decisively if we had a couple of politicians who counted dead Americans instead of votes. Just my two cents, But I am certainly not alone in my sentiments.

Someone has wiped out Al-Qaeda's websites. The Isreali's suspect it was the Brits.

Al -Qaeda's Websites Wiped out

sry 4 tha typos.. i got clumsy fingers

While I am typing this, Italian police explain in minute details how they captured one of the Islamics (perhaps the ringleader)
How stupid! Next time they won't be using mobile phones... Why educate the terrorists?

Because of this and the death of the duplicious King Fahd, "staunch ally" of the West, the grand price of tonights TV is delayed: Tarik Ramadan (Spencers special 'friend') and another coffee-filter, can't remember his name.

Iran "cannot wait any longer" to build the bomb, and on LGF there is an article about the guy who helped bring about the "Islamic Revolution", the one and only all-time-asshole Jimmy Carter, the incarnation of "Pyle" straight out of the 'quiet American", the ever blue-eyed 'good' fool-for- the- world, why can't he just fade away instead of insulting the world with his idiocy?

Vikrant:
You may need to buy one of these cool T-shirts with "Don't panic-I'm not Islamic" written on it! Consider the investment!

Peanut Carter: "guilty as sin"- he just don't get it: It's not him! It's never him: It's always America that's wrong! If you have tears left, weep or smash your computer:

Carter Plays to the Crowd

Speaking in Birmingham, England, a place where radical Islam clearly has a foothold, LGF’s first Idiotarian of the Year Jimmy Carter demonstrates the same incisive understanding of the nature of terrorism that he displayed so masterfully during the 444 long, miserable days of the Iranian embassy hostage crisis: Carter: Iraq War is ‘Unjust’. (Hat tip: LGF readers.)

BIRMINGHAM, England — Former President Jimmy Carter said Saturday the detention of terror suspects at the Guantanamo Bay Naval base was an embarrassment and had given extremists an excuse to attack the United States. Carter also criticized the U.S.-led war in Iraq as “unnecessary and unjust.”

“I think what’s going on in Guantanamo Bay and other places is a disgrace to the U.S.A.,” he told a news conference at the Baptist World Alliance’s centenary conference in Birmingham, England. “I wouldn’t say it’s the cause of terrorism, but it has given impetus and excuses to potential terrorists to lash out at our country and justify their despicable acts.”

Carter said, however, that terrorist acts could not be justified, and that while Guantanamo “may be an aggravating factor ... it’s not the basis of terrorism.”

Critics of President Bush’s administration have long accused the U.S. government of unjustly detaining terror suspects at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base on the southeastern tip of Cuba. Hundreds of men have been held indefinitely at the prison, without charge or access to lawyers.

“What has happened at Guantanamo Bay ... does not represent the will of the American people,” Carter said. “I’m embarrassed about it, I think its wrong. I think it does give terrorists an unwarranted excuse to use the despicable means to hurt innocent people.”

Carter, who won the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize, has been an outspoken critic of the Iraq war.

“I thought then, and I think now, that the invasion of Iraq was unnecessary and unjust. And I think the premises on which it was launched were false,” he said Saturday.

joe; stick around pal, you ain't seen nothing ye(hattip to BTO)

carolyn2; your comparison of infidels to impala is far, far scarier than you know. if you take it a bit deeper it will make your hair stand on end.
impala are prey animals. they band together for the defenses that a herd can provide; more eyes on the lookout and the distraction and confusion experienced by the predator while trying to target a single animal in the chaos of a stampede(this insures survival to the greatest number of prey animals). once an attack has been completed, the predator, having utilized the defensive stampede to identify the weak, old, young, or sick, through nuances that telegraph their suitability as targets, the main mass of prey animals immediately ceases to run, aware that, for now, the threat(to THEM) has passed, even grazing near the fresh kill. just as the prey telegraphs its weakness, the predator signals his intentions to hunt or not. if the predator doesn't make threatening signals, the prey is content to let him stay in close proximity, though he will watch for signs of danger. the predator"holds his cards close to his vest" until he can spring an attack on the prey who have lost interest in him.

there is an economy to nature, the prey will only run far enough to escape the immediate threat, and the predator will break off the attack if he feels he is wasting his valuable energy. some predators hunt in packs, sharing clearly understood tasks.

the critical point here is that the prey will tolerate the proximity of the predator until he springs, and then, being PREY, it flees rather than fights.

GREAT ANALOGY C2

Another analogy is the eloi people from the movie "The Time Machine". You just have to wonder what will it take?
