DC Watson discusses Muslim condemnations of terror attacks:
Well, it appears that all of this remains our fault. Apparently, we just don’t get it. According to the Council on American Islamic Relations, they’ve continued to condemn terror attacks carried out by their fellow Muslims, but we just aren't hearing them. This issue was again brought to the forefront in a July 13, 2005 article from the Florida Times-Union, entitled “Muslim leaders condemning terror to deaf?”. The author, Mark Woods, apparently feels that accurate information regarding Islam can be obtained through the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) filter:In the wake of the London bombings, I called Parvez Ahmed, a Jacksonville resident who three months ago became chairman of perhaps the best-known Muslim organization in America, and asked him that. And there was silence.Well, just when the phone cut out.
Once I got him back on the line, the University of North Florida professor who is the new chairman of the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, did what he has been doing ever since he woke up Thursday, logged onto his computer and saw the news.He condemned the bombings. He condemned the people behind them. He did it immediately and unequivocally.
"This is just absolute madness," he said. "It does not make any sense whatsoever.”
You want a Muslim condemnation of terrorism?
How would you like it delivered?Well, Parvez, certainly not like this: "The term 'civilians' does not exist in Islamic religious law," according to Hani Al-Siba'i, head of the Al-Maqreze Centre for Historical Studies in London.
Or this from Syrian-born Muslim cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed: "We don't make a distinction between civilians and non-civilians, innocents and non-innocents. Only between Muslims and unbelievers. And the life of an unbeliever has no value. It has no sanctity." "We will use your democracy to destroy your democracy."
Or this: Siraj Wahhaj was the Imam of Masjid Al-Taqwa in Brooklyn, New York. “Take my word; if 6-8 million Muslims unite in America, the country will come to us."
Or this: "Imam Zaid Shakir was the former Muslim chaplain at Yale University, and political science professor. He believes that the Quran ‘pushes us in the exact opposite direction to the forces at work in the American political spectrum.’…As a result he maintains that Muslims cannot accept the legitimacy of the existing system.”
Or this: "Ahmad Nawfal, a well-known Jordanian speaker, “if fundamentalist Muslims stand up, "it will be very easy for us to preside over this world once again."
Or this: "At a Muslim convention held in San Jose, just one month after the atrocities of Sept. 11, 2001: "By the year 2020, we should have an American Muslim president of the United States."
(When pigs fly, and Hell gets hit with an ice storm.)
Or this: Muslim Cleric Sheikh Abu Hamza (Aug. 2002) “told young British supporters that murder, bank robbery and looting are legitimate weapons against the enemies of Islam.”"But a struggle means sometimes arguing to convey the message. Even if it means you convey the message by carrying a sword. "Allah wants to know who will sacrifice for him." “Robbing them and kafirs, or unbelievers, could be acceptable because they were not protected by Allah” He said: "I say go and do it (steal), take shoot and loot.”

“So why don't we hear Muslim leaders condemning terrorism?”
“Maybe we're not listening.”This would be comical if it weren’t so asinine. Since 9/11, there have been in excess of 2400 terrorist attacks perpetrated by Muslims all around the world.

How many of them have been condemned by name by CAIR? How many imams and clerics have we caught preaching hate during their sermons and speeches, or lying on their visa applications?
_http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2004-06-17-imam-convicted_x.htm_
Why condemn them, when they can write one of their Islamic puff piece letters to the editors of local newspapers, stating that terrorism goes against the teachings of Islam?Oh, no, it doesn't. Aren’t the men I quoted above Muslims -- Muslim leaders? Radical Imams and their followers have, for the most part, driven the more moderate Muslims out of many of the mosques. Yet, these same fanatical Imams are permitted to reside here on religious visas as they upchuck their hate, for us.
There are many in the American media who continue to jump at the chance to obtain their information from CAIR. As the evidence continues to stack up against groups such as these, evidence clearly demonstrating that they are not a friend to this nation, they are still a main source of information as it pertains to Islam.
Shouldn’t Mr. Woods, and others in the media instead be asking CAIR about the link on their website that appeared after the 9/11 sneak attack, which called for donations to help the 9/11 victims, yet lead to the Holy Land Foundation site?
_http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=12470_
Shouldn’t our friends in the mainstream media be asking CAIR about Ghassan Elashi, the founder of CAIR's Texas chapter, convicted for selling technology, goods and commodities to designated terror-sponsoring states, related the Deputy Chief of the Hamas terrorist organization’s Political Bureau, and the Holy Land Foundation’s Chairman of the Board?_http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=43805_

Parvez Ahmed said: “No ideology can even remotely justify what's going on."
While this is true, Muslim fanatics, with their own whacked-out sense of reality, justify all of their violence by blaming it on their victims. Victims labeled by them as occupiers, infidels, invaders, non-believers, Islamophobes, bigots, racists, intolerants, etc.
Has the CAIR organization publicly condemned those who worked for them who have been convicted on terror charges? Any condemnation of Royer, Elashi, or Khafagi? Have they publicly condemned Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hizbollah, or the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade?Perchance it would be beneficial to them if we truly were deaf. Dumb and blind too. Unfortunately for them, we see and hear everything. This routine has far surpassed the stage of being tiresome. However, with that being said, so long as their facade and games continue, Muslim organizations, Islamic Imams, Muslim Clerics, and “scholars” can count on being confronted at every turn they make, every word they speak, and every tactic they employ.
Didn't the mafia attend funerals and send flowers to the victims that they killed?
So what if muslims condemn the bombings?
If those bombers hadn't believed in Islamic ideology they wouldn't have killed.
At first after 9/11 i was polite. Calling Muslims scholars sir and litening to the voice of reason spouted by the muslims and CAIR.
But after doing a lot of reading of the Koran, listening to the Muslim leadership speeches and watching as every friday after prayers in any mosque in the world the muslims would pile out to loot pillage and burn..
After watching be-heading videos, reading ALL of osamas and zarchawis letters i have thrown all pretenses about being nice out the window.
If we want to live free and not have our women mass raped, not having the men butchered.
Not having the old and blind, dumb and mute be-headed.
Then we throw the playbook out and take them on...
And i am sorry if this sounds racist but its true
Out of all of the terrorist attacks worldwide in the past 30 years over 4000 of them thats just the ones that made it into the media only
2 were committed by non muslims. And these two were executed..
I am sorry but Islam is from the DEVIL and we will not bow down to this demonic religion any longer...

Nice work D.C.;
The media passed up an incredible teaching moment when Freedom House exposed all that hate literature at mosques across the nation. Any competent journalist would have gone knocking on the door (cameras rolling) to a mosque that was named. Even a non-response would be news.
The fact that no one has followed up on this speaks volumes about our media. Friends and family who read my expose on the Islam Project (posted at Sixth Column Against Jihad) as "screeds" and even lectured me on "getting to know everyday Muslims blah blah," even though there was not a mean word about Muslims in any of my articles!
I shudder to think about what it will it take to overcome this cultural inertia.
Andrei,
It is ironic and paradoxical (but ultimately logical) that the process by which Western Leftists have overcome the inertia based on a profound respect for the enormity & gravity of the Holocaust (as well as a history of anti-Semitism) preventing them from condemning Israel and -- not always, but too many times -- by extension Jews in general -- that this inertia-surmounting process has been relatively easy for them, but the process of surmounting the inertia against any significant criticism of Islam not only seems impossible in today's PC climate, it is positively getting worse the more data challenging it mounts and mounts.
The ultimately logical reason behind this paradoxical irony is, I think, what is really behind Leftist condemnations not only of Israel, but also of Jews, America, and the West in general: a Manichean logic that sees the West, with its premier vanguard the Americano-Zionist Crypto-Empire, as an irredeemable evil that must be dismantled one way or another for their Utopian vision of justice to prevail on Earth.
After orthodox Communism has collapsed, an idyllic vision of Islam is rising out of that rubble as the new vehicle for their Gnostic Utopia, and such types can easily in their minds glide over into justifying and then supporting bin Laden's declaration that 4 million Americans must die (2 million of which have to be children) in order to "right the wrongs" America in its evil Imperialistic designs have wreaked on the Muslim world.
In D. C. Watson's excellent presentation of certain unforgettable and telling quotes, from a great number of prominent Muslim leades and spokesmen over quite a few years, he offers up too many facts for them to be disputed, or explained away, and so the only way for those he is addressing to deal with him, is to pretend he did not write what he wrote. It won't work. Not any more.
As for the word "really" which interrogatively ends the title, surely it should be pronounced as Steve Martin does, playing Rupprecht, in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" -- "oh, reahlly?"
From DC Watson's title,
"Really?"
No, not really. I suppose this is to be expected from followers of this ideaology, but from the dhimmi victims?
I just overheard a Brit Hume report on Fox which implied that the four "shahids" may not have known that this was a martyrdom mission.
This implication was made based upon the fact that two of the murderers left behind pregnant wives. Also, the killers appeared to have paid in full for a week of parking and the assumption being made is that they intended to return and claim their vehicle.
I was left with the impression that these innuendos were reported in order to invoke sympathy for the killers as "victims" alongside the true victims: the riders of the London tube!
I don't give one hoot in hell for a person whose intent was to kill and then survive to another day, but ended up becoming minced meat alongside his victims.
I do care that there are those who have been persuaded by this report (true or not) to activate a fiber of concern in their being for the "duped" murderers.
DC Watson,
My apologies for not including in my previous post a congratulation towards your writing abilities.
Once again, your forthright approach cuts to the chase.
Keep up the good work.
"Muslim fanatics, with their own whacked-out sense of reality, justify all of their violence by blaming it on their victims."
King: Right. Muslim fanatics, not all Muslims. Just thought I'd place this big difference on the record.

This was the same man who couldn't believe and vehemently denied his son's involvement.
His true colors are showing now.
KT,
I imagine that you would agree with the following:
All Muslims read the same Qur'an (language translations aside).
With that in mind, please provide your definition of:
A Muslim fanatic.
And, then list:
Those Qur'anic chapters and verses which moderate Muslims are able to ignore, but which fanatics use to justify such atrocities as beheadings, bombings, and other acts committed in the name of Islam.
Did you read the entire piece, King? Or did you jump to conclusions about this writer's remarks as usual? Why must you be such a wanker, mate?
Read it dopey
Radical Imams and their followers have, for the most part, driven the more moderate Muslims out of many of the mosques. Yet, these same fanatical Imams are permitted to reside here on religious visas as they upchuck their hate, for us.
Another great article by DC...
Kingky...Not all fanatics are muslims, but all muslims are fanatics. Part of the Islamic natural order of things. Without fanatics, Islam would stumble and fall...Why is it such a large number of clerics are also fanatics? It's built in...The Quran and Mohammads traditions, are fanatical on their face...There is only one fanatic in Islam...his name is Muslim...
"Moderate" Muslim group called the "Muslim Council of Britain" stood up the same day of the London attacks and condemned them in the name of goodness and in good keeping with Britain being labeled a moderate group and making themselves look like those sort of Muslims that don't act on violence nor criticize. Well, guess what? The founder of that same group was proven to have ties with al-Qaida.
THIS ALONE tells me never to trust these bastards in dirty pajamas ever again.
