3 Anglicans held in Wales under terror laws...oh, wait...

This CNN story, "3 held in Wales under terror laws," (thanks to Jeffrey Imm), identifies those held only as "men." The ideology that almost certainly motivates the violence they were allegedly plotting is the great unreported story of our time.

LONDON, England (CNN) -- British police were questioning three men Friday detained in South Wales under anti-terrorism laws.

The three men, all from the southern Welsh city of Newport, were held overnight, police said.

"The three men were arrested by the Gwent Police yesterday under the Terrorism Act," a spokesman told CNN.

Well, there they go again. Those insensitive authorities are SO discriminatory. Imagine: identifying those poor targets of overzealous policing being identified BY GENDER!! They should just be ID's as the victims that they are. And let the compensation discussion begin forthwith.

And now they have been released without charge.

Wake up,wake up,wake up;

This is your country and as such, it must be allowed that people who are terrorists, or preach hate,or will not accept the ways of that country WILL be sent back to their country of origin.
Never mind that the civil libertarians squawk or the greater muslim community cry unfair....just do it.
Never mind that these people could suffer problems, even death, if they go back to their country of origin, that was originally and is now their own problem.Granted that each case should be assessed individually,it should be assessed quickly and at the least cost to the country. In the majority of cases these people facing problems in their origin countries,do so for legitimate reasons, because they are BAD people and it should not be, for one second, made the problem of the country who tried to help them.
If they do not accept the laws of the land, send them away
Also start acting against the lawyers who fight to keep EVIL in the country.
The Western world tries so hard to be fair to these monsters in their midst, at the expense of the law abiding populace and then wonders why indiscriminate hate crimes happen. This is the only way some people feel able to protect themselves because their government doesn't.

Granny Weatherwax posted an article that contained the quote:
"Gwent Police said on Friday that after extensive inquiries, it was established that no offences had been committed."

Obviously it is no offence to sit in a vehicle outside the Celtic Manor where the EU Ministers will be meeting next month. There's no law against using binoculars to draw diagrams of security arrangements. Obviously they were bird-watchers, or amateur hotel inspectors.

This is another example of how our laws regarding surveillance for terrorist attacks are outdated.

Granny: Do you travel much?

A few years ago I stopped over in Londonistan.

It really cracked me up when I saw and extra 'finger' in Heathrow-airport for 'asylum-seekers'- It must have been before 9/11, but really, do you still have a special arrival hall for 'asylum-seekers?"

Even then I found it rather peculiar, but somebody in your country really , desperately wanted 'asylum seekers..."

Something must be very wrong in your country and I'm sure that Winston Churchill would turn in his grave if he knew!

There is this to consideras part of Britains predicament:
"Endangered Sovereignty"
An article which provides the following quote.

" ... the British government is currently trying to deport terrorist suspects it considers a danger to the public, but the courts maintain that such deportations are contrary to Britain's signature on the European Declaration of Human Rights."
