DUBAI and AQABA, Jordan -- An Al Qaeda linked group claimed on August 19 rocket attacks near US warships moored in the Red Sea port of Aqaba and into a neighbouring Israeli resort killing a Jordanian soldier.The group, the Al Qaeda Organization in the Levant and Egypt, said in a statement posted on an Islamic website that its guerrillas fired "three Katyusha rockets" on the Aqaba and Eilat ports.
The US military said there had been no American casualties.
A total of three Katyusha rockets were fired from a warehouse in Aqaba, landing in the port, a site close to a military hospital and next to the airport in the nearby Israeli resort of Eilat, Jordan said....
That's weird, I thought making the Gaza Strip devoid of any Jews was going to bring peace to Israel.
Instead, Katyusha rockets are being used to attack an Israeli resort?
Who could have possibly forseen this bizarre turn of events?
