I think this is highly fanciful. In fact, I highly doubt that the average American schoolchild has any idea that "Muslims are suicide bombers and kill innocent people in the name of jihad." An immense amount of effort has been directed to making sure that schoolchild and the American public in general does not associate Islam with terrorism, and it is paying off.
Yet it remains true, however, that some Muslims have become suicide bombers and have killed innocent people in the name of jihad. But you are unlikely to hear any explanation of that, or any effort to combat this kind of thinking among Muslims, from Samina Faheem Sundas.
She said that the situation was so biased that a Christian responsible for the Oklahoma blasts was not labelled a Catholic bomber, because Americans believe only Muslims commit such acts in the name of religion.“A catholic was responsible for the Oklahoma blasts but he was not labelled as a catholic bomber because Americans argue that only Muslims commit such acts in the name of their religion,” she said, adding that the “Madressah in Pakistan should only impart religious education to their students. That's not bias. That's accuracy. For all the tireless invocation of Tim McVeigh as the lone example of a Christian terrorist, he did not blow up the building in Oklahoma City because of any Christian teaching. Yet the jihadists consistently and routinely invoke Islam to justify their actions. (Watch out! If you take notice of their doing that, you must be a bigot!)
She further said that it was because of this prejudice that Muslims were suffering more than any other community in the Us and the West, post 9/11 and 7/7, because they did not bother to depict the true Islamic way which is non-violent, she added.

I guess the answer is everyone should learn more about Islam. What a fantastic public awareness campaign we are all funding. Islam grows once again as it always has, through violence.
Even if "moderates", say that we don't understand jihad, they sure enjoy encouraging us to learn more about Islam because of vilent jihad. If every Muslim believed that jihad meant a non-violent inner struggle and there were no such thing as a suicide bomber, do you think we would be told we need to research and learn about Islam?

OK. Let me get this straight. In the face of Samina Faheem Sundas saying that Americans have doubts about the loyalty of Muslims in America, she then says Muslims need to be informed they have the right not to cooperate with law enforcement?
Shouldn't she be encouraging them TO cooperate? Wouldn't that be the best way to combat the impression of disloyalty?

When someone bends knee to the Islamic Jihad's non-negotiable demands, it pushes and pushes for more, but that's not the point of this letter. The point is that it can't see the forest for the trees. Before I start, however, I should state that to understand what its particularly nefarious form of frotteurism has encompassed as a movement and as a system of rule, we have to look at its historical context and development as a form of revolting politics that first arose in early 14th century Arabia in response to rapid social upheaval, the devastation of World War I, and the Bolshevik Revolution. Islamic Jihad is totally gung-ho about antipluralism because it lacks more pressing soapbox issues. I could be wrong about any or all of this, but at the moment, the above fits what I know of history, people, and current conditions. If anyone sees anything wrong or has some new facts or theories on this, I'd love to hear about them.

Muslim rights:Of all the supposed 'rights' muslims have, the one that is glaringly missing, is the 'right', to apostate themselves. In that same boat are the 'right' to criticize Islam or the prophet.
This kind of 'enlightenment' due to contact with some kind of reality, is met with harsh punishments, including death. This is really convoluted...Islam must kill to stay alive. Membership is maintained by the iron fist and a whip. Fear is a dominent factor. Muslims believe that death is better than life because of the visions and promises of heaven, given to them by Allah, through Mohammad. Paradise, where there are some hundred layers, where every one is way better than the one below, untill the penthouse at the top is reached. I suppose, this is where the 72 virgins live, and the boys as pure as pearls, hang out. Muslims are under intense fear that they may not be accepted by Allah and his membership committee. Everyone knows that space in Paradise is limited. Besides, Mohammad said that only 'one in a thousand' will get into paradise anyway. This is a diminishing return.
The quickest way to paradise is jihad. For every jihadist dying into Paradise, 999 regular ole muslims are shut out.
