HYDERABAD: Plunging the bride bazaar of Old City to newer depths, marriage brokers last month paraded 13 young girls before four Arabs, all aged over 50.One of the grooms, a 55-year-old sheikh from UAE, chose a 16-year-old girl, married her on July 15, spent two weeks with her and then left the country after pronouncing talaq thrice in a huff.
The marriage was facilitated by Mumtaz Begum of Falaknuma with help from four brokers — Mansoor, Toufiq, Yousuf and Abdullah.
Police officer Sandeep Sandilya said, “The brides were paraded before the Arabs in Toufiq’s house at Kalapathar and the nikah was solemnised by a qazi at his residence in Shalibanda.’’
With her hopes of going abroad shattered, Shameem (name changed) approached the Kalapathar police on Saturday seeking help.
The police acted swiftly and nabbed Mumtaz Begum but the brokers and qazi are still at large. The police recovered three affidavits which claimed Shameem’s age as 22 and stated her consent to marry the aged Arab.
Shameem told police that the brokers pressured her to accept nikah with Mohammad Bakram as he promised to take her to the UAE after marriage.
The parents of the girl r to blame... Indian Muslims r sooo fixated with Arabs, they r almost viewed as Gods by them and it is a "honour" for Indian Muslim to marry an Arab. In this case the parents sold the girl to the Arab for as lil as Rs 10000 (₤ 150)!
How can we make any complaint? The culture of these sheiks is as equally valid as our own. They should be free to to do as they please. Remember: nothing is true; everything is permitted.

Whatever works, whatever has emotional appeal, whatever helps to to weaken its hold upon its own adherents and its appeal to those who are innocent or easily fooled non-Muslims, should be encouraged. Whatever helps prevent the malevolent village smithy, Islam, from hammering into shape and locking on innocent wrists any more mind-forged manacles -- even a story about these pathetic young girls, used as sex-slaves in temporary marriages, and then discarded like human kleenex, by their Arab exploiters -- can be a key to mental freedom.
And of course, these girls can no longer be married. That would be 'unclean', surely.
Related, perhaps, is the recent complaint by a Palestinian leader that in addition to more land and political autonomy that Palestinians were desperately in need of "marriageable women".
For in islam, women are treated so, so well that once sold to one man, they may not be similarly sold to another - imagine their dishonour if they were! Better, perhaps, that they be confined, by and with their families, for the rest of their lives, so as to avoid the deep, abiding personal shame of having been bought like a slave and then shunned by an utter pig following the - ahem - 'jurisprudence' of another, utter pig.

Not to mention the base exploitation of women and the poor.
Can anyone explain to me why any grown many would find an undeveloped young teen girl appealing? Do they think it will restore their youth, or prove their manhood? It is as baffling as it is sickening. The 40 Year Old Virgin(as in the new movie) is more of a man than these fiends.

It may arise from the "privilege" of being the first in, a desire to reduce the chances of contracting of sexually transmitted diseases (as opposed to passing them on) and, of course, not suffering unfavourable comparisons to any predecessors.
It's also a strange and sick contrast to the regional concept of the preservation of family honour and cleansing in the face of dishonour that comes of having a soiled woman in the clan.

Nuqah or Nikah is an Arabic word meaning a four letter F word. Marriage in Arabic is called Zawaaj. Muslim Scholars try to argue a mote point that Nuqah means marrige, but everyone knows just what it means. So, in Muhammed's own words, Marriage is a f**k contract between the seller, the girl's guardian, and the buyer, the groom. Talk about being blunt.

In concluding the Nuqah contract, the officiator asks the bride’s father, “Hal taqbala nuqaha ibnatika?, “Do you consent to the f***ing of your daughter?”, replying in the affirmative, and accepting the groom’s payment and the stipulated price for the pleasure incurred by the groom in the case of the divorce and other compensation for the loss of virginity, Nafaqit il-saddaq wa il-mut’aa, the contract is concluded. My grandfather used to come back from the wedding in amazement saying, “Can you imagine, he asks her father, do you consent to the f***ing? --- And he replies, I consent.”

That is no surprise that muslim countries are intellectual deserts. Free thinking can only occur in Free societies.
If one examines islam and its practices, it is more akin to slavery. Islam and those who convert to it, effectively become slaves. Islam = submission = subjugation, is not coincidence. Wherever islam dominates, slothful attitudes start to dominate. Free thinking stops, and people become mere cogs, almost children, dependent on the cleric on matters of any substance.
So these Arabs basically bought themselves some prostitutes for a little while. But they call it "marriage" to give themselves an air of piety and goodness, when really they are just rutting animals looking to get laid.

Under sharia, every woman has a pimp, so all women are whores. Of course a vast swath of Muslim men love their daughters and wives and mothers and sisters and treat them well (and I believe that if Islam is salvageable it will be through these rightous men.) But make no mistake, every pimp has those rights towards his whore(s) whether or not he chooses to exercise them. And like all slaves, the well-treated can easily end up with a new master who treats them not so well.

i did a bit of research on that word. Nikah (or its Indian corruption Nigah) was also used by Hindus in the days of Hindustani... But after partition, Hindustani was bifurcated into Hindi and Urdu... hence though Nigah/Nikah is a Muslim specific word, i've seen it used by Hindus (rarely tho and mostly in Indian movies). Actually even after the Sanskritization of 1950's when almost 20000 words of Arabic origin were purged, Hindi does contain a lot of Arabic words hence line btwn Urdu and Hindi is blurred.
I must say i'm a bit ashamed not b knowledgeable abt this but Hindi is not my mother tongue and i've spent most of life in Britain...

The Dutch is "neuken" (pron.'Know-kuh').
As in "Wil je neuken?" ('Vill yuh know-kuh"? OR: 'Wanna get laid?'/ "Will you screw?").
I think it extends way back into Old German, before Mohammad got anywhere near a 7th century goat. (Re: the late Theo Van Gogh mocked fanatical Muslims as 'goat-neukers' after the Ayatollah Khomeini's PETA-friendly recommendation that they could use a horny quadruped as a 'wife' in a pinch).
"Nookie" came over from Holland in the middle of the 20th century as far as I can determine. And has stayed. (I heard George Lucas originally wanted to call the "Wookies" in STAR WARS "Nookies", but was talked out of it by a more level-headed Key Grip.)
